1:20 p.m
i slammed my locker shut after getting my book for history, still annoyed about what monoma had said.
'i can't believe he'd say something like that, i thought he'd be happy for me.'
"hey, [y/n]!" hitoshi jogged up to my locker, i snapped out of my thoughts and gave him a smile.
"hi hitoshi!" i had to give him a side hug since my books were in my other hand, but he still accepted the hug regardless.
"so, i was thinking... do you like, want to have a movie night later?" he asked nervously, as if he expected me to say no.
i laughed, "what kind of question is that? of course!" i noticed he let out a sigh of relief. "what movie will we watch?" i asked, he and i started to make our way to class.
"whatever you want. it doesn't have to be a movie, it could be a show too!" he held his hand in mine as we walked.
"how about attack on titan?" i smiled widely at him, "its my favorite show!" i started skipping as he walked, still holding hands.
"i've never seen it." he stated, making my jaw drop.
i stopped him in the middle of the hallway, "ok, we're definitely watching it now."
he smiled, "fine by me, as long as we're watching it together." he kissed my cheek and continued walking to class.

i sprinted to my dorm room after school ended, i wanted to take a quick power nap before i needed to start preparing for my movie night with shinsou.
9:07 p.m
i woke up from my nap still a bit tired. i tried so hard to keep myself awake, i kept pinching my arm.
i took a glance over to the clock on my nightstand, 'its 9:07?! i need to got to the store quick!'
i put on my usual shoes, still in my school uniform.
i left the dormitory and began walking to the convenience store that was just down the street.
'hopefully they're still open' i thought as i approached the store, i sighed in relief as i saw the neon 'open' sign behind the glass window.
i pushed one of the glass doors open, the same feeling of the cool air from outside hitting my face once again as i walked into the store.
walking around, i browsed around for good snacks and things shinso might like.
my eyes stopped at a certain candy, 'bat gummies? hitoshi will definitely like these!' i grabbed them off the shelf, starting to look around once again.
stopping at the drinks i decided to get four cans of monster energy, two each for both me and shinsou.
after getting everything i think i needed, lots of snacks, candy, and drinks, i decided to go pay for everything.
i walked over to the checkout, my arms hugging everything close to my body, the cashier gave me a weird look but i just shrugged it off.
i place everything down onto the counter, and suddenly what monoma said to me earlier, had came back to mind.
flashback;
i was at my locker getting my book for history, when someone came over to me,
"hello, my dear cousin, y/n!" neito leaned against the locker beside mine.
i scoffed, annoyed. "what do you want neito?" i placed my hand on my hip. he looked offended, "wow, can't i just say hi to my favorite cousin?"
i gave him a knowing look, "ugh, fine. i've noticed that you've been hanging out more with that villain kid, shinso." he started saying before i stopped him.
"do not call my boyfriend a villain kid." i glared at him, starting to get annoyed.
"oh, so you're dating? what happened to you and sero?" he asked, butting his nose in my business per usual. "we just didn't work out." i gave him a simple answer.
"well, i want you to stay away from him, n/n." he moved a bit closer, worry coating his voice. i was taken aback by his words, "what? why?"
he placed either of his hands on my shoulders, "i just don't want him taking advantage of you, especially with his villainous brainwashing quirk. he already did it once, i don't want him doing it again."
i could tell he meant well, but shinso isn't that type of guy.
a grabbed his wrists, removing his hands from my shoulders. "listen, neito." i began to say, "i know you mean well, but i can handle myself, and shinso isn't that type of guy. i just wish you'd be happy for me." i could see the concern in his eyes.
"just please go. i'm going to be late for class, and you are too." i turned back to my locker, neito quietly walked away, not saying another word.

"uhm, excuse me miss." the cashier waved their hand in front of my face, "oh, sorry!" i scrambled around trying to look for my wallet, realizing i forgot it in the dorm.
the cashier seemed to have noticed since they sighed in annoyance, "don't worry, i'll be paying for her." a voice all to recognizable was heard.
i smiled widely, turning to see the owner of the voice, hitoshi.
he handed the cashier 2,300 yen "keep the change."
"why're you here?" i questioned. "well, i wanted to get us snacks for our movie night but it seems like you already got that covered." he motioned to the bag containing snacks and drinks.
he was headed to put everything he got back, "no,no! the more snacks the merrier!"
...
i waited outside on a bench, swinging my legs, waiting for shinsou to pay for his things.
"okay, let's go." he exited the store with his bad in his hand.
...
we walked to the yuuei dorms, hand in hand in comforting silence.
i suddenly felt a chill go through my body, "are you seriously cold?" he chuckled. i playfully hit his shoulder, "yes! this is what i get for wearing my school blazer instead of an actual jacket." i whined, blaming myself for me being cold.
i felt a bit of weight on my shoulders, realizing it was hitoshi's coat.
i saw he had a hoodie on underneath, "who wears two layers?" i laughed.
"people who have common sense." he flicked my forehead.

"do we have to do this?" hitoshi whined. "i'm only showing you how to make your eyebags disappear, calm down!" i held hitoshi's face still, applying concealer under his eyes.
"there's no point, we'll just have to remove it later before bed." he stated. "damn, you're right." i took a cotton pad, covering it with makeup remover and swiping it over his eyes.
"let's just watch a.o.t now." shinso gave me a look of confusion. "attack on titan?" i clarified, he made an 'oh' look.

[shinso pov]
the theme song on attack on titan and i noticed [y/n] started to sing it. i couldn't help but pull out my phone and record her singing to it.
"sasageyo, sasageyo! shinzo wo sasageyo!" she sung the whole song, doing the signature salute until it ended and the actual episode started playing.
i saw that she noticed me recording her, "shinso! were you recording me?!" she started blushing in embarrassment.
"perhaps.." i shrugged my shoulders. she tried taking the phone from my hand but i held it high so she couldn't reach it.
"hitoshi, please delete it!" she pouted, seeming like she gave up. "only if you give me a kiss." i smirked, i could see her blush.
a moment later she quickly pecks her lips onto mine. i scoffed, "i want a real kiss." i said seriously, pulling her face closer to mine, connecting our lips.
after a few seconds we both pulled away, "fine, i'll delete it." i rolled my eyes, pressing the 'delete' button above the video.
she smiled, hugging me. "thank you hitoshi!" she yawned.
i looked over to the clock on her nightstand, seeing it was 11:54 p.m.
"yeah, yeah. how about we go to bed now, okay?" i looked down at her, she layed her head on my chest. "yeah, okay." she said softly.
"goodnight, y/n." i hugged her tighter, bringing her closer to me. "goodnight, insomniac buddy." she tiredly replied and i heard her start to snore.
'insomniac buddy, huh?' i smiled to myself and drifted to sleep.
