It was later now and as punishment for knocking out Tiger Izuku was forced to keep his quirk on for the rest of the day while doing the exercises
Finally, it was dinner time and the two classes had to work together to make Curry
Izuku and Katsuki began a competition who could cut vegetables the best

Momo: they're cut more precisely and he even made them just the right size to fit into our mouths without chewing too much

After they made the curry Izuku saw Kota and Eri laughing, Izuku was going to check on it when he felt a tap on the shoulder, he turned his head to see Izumi
Izuku: Izumi? What's up?
Izumi: can I talk to you in private?
Izuku looked over at Ochako who looked toward the kids
Ochako: I'll keep an eye on them
Izuku and Izumi walked into the woods and after a long silence Izumi fell to her knees
Izuku: Izumi!
Izumi began to sob, unable to look up
Izumi: I'm sorry... I'M SORRY I LEFT YOU!
Izuku: W-what are you talking about?
Izumi: I know it's you! *Sob* Izuku... I'm sorry
Izuku: what gave you that idea?
Izumi: that day in the recovery ward I saw your eyes... Your real ones I'd recognize my brother's jade irises anywhere

Izumi: but then I noticed how you act! The way you talk to Eri is the same way mom used to baby us as kids

There was a pause, Izuku took a deep breath and pulled out a knife pressing it against Izumi's throat while she was against a tree
Izuku: Now what will you do?
Izumi: h-how did you survive? The house exploded with you inside!
Izuku: I blew up the house... Izumi, it was hell living the way I did. I was alone and constantly being hurt... But then I found her
Izumi: who?
Izuku: Ochako, she made me feel like... Like a person! I told her about the first time I killed she didn't care and she still doesn't... If she ever stopped loving me I would never find another partner
Izumi began to tear up again but smiled
Izumi: I'm happy to hear that, you deserve it
Izuku: my turn... Why didn't you do anything? You knew what was happening! You could have helped me! Shit at the very least you could have consoled me!
Izuku was tearing up a bit, firmly grasping the knife
Izumi: I...I was scared
Izuku looked into her eyes and lowered the knife

The two sat in silence for a bit until Izuku decided to break it

Izumi began to tear up again

Izuku laughed and hugged his sister
Izuku: understand something... Even after all of this time... I never hated you I was just disappointed
Izumi: and I'm sorry!
Izuku: you keep apologizing it loses its meaning
Izuku took a deep breath and could help but tear up a bit
Izuku: you're really lucky that Eri likes you... This is between us but I love you too loser
Izumi tackled her brother in a hug and began crying even more
Izuku: we are on thin ice though so if you mess up-

Izuku: NO! The so-called symbol of peace turned his son into a weapon! Our so-called mother abandoned her son because of stupidity and fear! they were old enough to see their mistakes, you were a child
Izumi stared at her brother and understood he had a genuine hatred for their parents, not that she could blame him.

Izuku: it's a long story... One that I'll have to tell you about later, someone is coming
Izuku turned around and took out his knife
He looked at the bushes and spoke
Izuku: you'll have to do better than that snowball
Eri came out with Kota and smiled

Eri: c'mon papa Kota wants to show us something cool!

He turned to Izumi and put his hands on her shoulders
Izuku: Izumi... You can't tell anyone about this, about me, or anything. I'll be honest my friends know but even then the only one who fully grasped it was Ochako so, please-

Izuku went with Eri and Kota to a hill
Kota: I always come up here when I visit, you can see all of the camp!
Eri: wow! Isn't it cool papa?
Izuku: yeah hey did you kids eat already?
Both: yes
Izuku: okay... Where are you kids going to be tomorrow night?
Kota: here! Wait why?
Izuku: tomorrow's the night hike and I wanted to make sure you kids didn't get lost so I'll keep my eyes open for you two
They sat down and looked at all the stars
Eri: papa why were you talking to Izumi?
Izuku: she... She needed to apologize for something that happened when we were kids
Izuku gave Eri a look that told her the entire situation
Eri: I'm happy you and she made up, she's fun to be around
After a few minutes, they went back to camp and saw everyone around the campfire
Ochako: there you are babe! C'mon we have marshmallows

The two kids sat on either side of Ochako and Izuku watched lovingly as his fiancee acted like a mother
He sat next to them and put his arm around her, they locked eyes and rested their heads on one another

Everyone began to laugh then kyouka suggested a song
They all looked at Izuku
Izuku: no...no! My voice sounds awful ever since All Might tried to kill me
Kota: what? Why would All Might do that?
Izumi: because All Might is a butthead
The kids started laughing and Izumi's friends were wondering why she was bad-mouthing her father
Momo: Izuku, please? One song
Izuku: no I'm not-

Izuku: are you serious? Because I'll do it
