— AN HOUR AGO BEFORE THE PAGEANT —
I was wearing my polo chanel and givenchy summer short for the theme of the pageant.
I picked up my sunglasses and inserted it in my polo.
On my way at the corridor of the hotel , sinalubong ako ni Fioree — wearing a cocktail dress that really suits her.
Hinawakan niya ang bisig ko at sabay na kaming sumakay sa kotse kasama ang assitant manager at team niya.
When we arrived at the place, I was skeptical kung dito idadaos ang pageant ,I mean like, It was a basketball court in the outside.
Ginuide kami agad ng organizer , sa backstage—waiting room, habang hindi pa nagsisimula ang event ay pinastay muna kami dun when my phone rang. I excused myself to Fioree and ac
cept the call.
Fortunately ay nagkaroon ng signal.
“ Ano? Wala parin hanggang ngayon?”
I expected the response from my investigator .
“Hindi ho Sir, nakita napo namin siya — a- k ---- prov---- tum----- pe----” . Did I hear it right? Nakita na nila ? Parang nabalisa ako ng marinig iyon. Ngunit dahil naging choppy ang linya ay tinext ko na lamang ito.

I was about to walked away when a familar body caught my eye. Even with just a simple white dress , her curve was visible and somewhat attractive. Nasa malapit siya sa bukana ng court —malapit sa mga tenth sa labas...
I don't know but I felt a strange of hope saying that it was her. Baka siya 'to. It must be her. But the other side of me was impossibly believeing .
At ano naman ang gagawin niya sa liblib na lugar na'to?
When I saw her side view just for a second dahil tumalikod ulit ito ay natanto kung may bitbit itong bata.

A baby.
An infant.
Probably just a months old.
There's no way thats her.
Ano nagpabuntis ulit siya?
Hearing those words irritate the hell out of me. To rest assured I walk towards her but a hand halted me.
It was Fioree..
“The show is about to start.” nakakainis man ay wala nakong nagawa kundi magpadala at sumunod, nang tumingin kasi ako ulit ay wala na ang anino ng babae.
Was it my imagination? Am I that too smitten for her?
