Nomzamo's POV
I am woken up by my alarm ,today is the day we are going back to the waterfall for mina ukuthi ngiqiniswe
I nearly make my bed and take a shower ,lotion my body and finally choose an outfit I'm supposed to wear white clothes
I decide to wear my white body con dress like I'm king to get baptised SMH!!
I tidy my room just a bit of touch ups ihate dirty places so being neat seems like a full time job to me
I take my belongings and tie a doek on my head it's white ,asa way of respect as Gogo would have put it
On my way downstairs I decide to pass ma's room
I knock twice and Baba opens the door mind you it's still 03:00 I know but it's part of tradition that we do this early
Baba:"nomzamo"
He's quite shocked that I'm knocking on their door at 03am in the morning but I need some things
Me:"ngyaxolisa Baba ngokunivusa ngidinga ama khandlela "
He looks at me for some time and walks inside his room then shortly comes back with a black plastic with some candles and incense great I didn't even think about incense
I thank him and head downstairs,I need to at least stomach something for his sake I hope Nkosenye is already awake ngoba I'm in no mood to be sweet today
I open the fridge and take out a granola bar ,his favourite I don't know what's the fuss about this but then I can already stomach it for today
My my it's delish so I would rather take two
Voice:"you know you owe me "
I startle at the sound of his voice
Me:"heyyyyy wena uzongphathisa ngenhliziyo "
Nkosenye just smirks at me
Nkosenye:"ncese but that's what you get for stealing "
Me:"I wasn't stealing I was hungry"
Nkosenye:"wathi wena awuyithandi nje "
Me:"well sengyayithanda manje I granola bar"
Nkosenye:"then I guess we need to buy more "
He walks closer to me and takes my hands into his and looks at me in the eyes
Nkosenye:"mntungwa ,I'm really sorry about the way we have been lately it's my fault I know and please just be patient with me I don't know what I'm doing or what I wanna do but what I do know is that I want what ewe have to be permanent"
Me:"uyathanda ukungi charmer "
Nkosenye:"baby I'm serious right now "
I wrap my hands around his neck
Me:"and I'm also serious when I say I love you "
Nkosenye:"well then let's go get you stronger"
I laugh at the way he's translating this whole situation I just love him am I a fool for that who am I a sucker for love maybe I am
Nkosenye's POV
Well after breakfast we drive straight to the waterfall in Hillcrest it's been so long since we have actually been here
The birds chirping and the water flowing is the first thing that rhythms in your ear
I take my babys hand into mine no cap I can tell she's a bit nervous
Gogo nomafu was riding with thulani and nolwandle in the thulani's car
It's the holidays so I don't think I have to call him Mr Khumalo now do I
I take the plastics from her and we walk to the waterfall,since she's one with the water she's going to have to go inside the waterfall So she can connect with the fallen queen's I think
We finally reach the riverbank ,
Gogo:"khumula izicathulo"
That's an instruction for Nomzamo and nolwandle
They both take off their shoes and start walking further and further into the water
Gogo:"khuluma nabantu bakho kuqala "
Nomzamo:"ngithini gogo?"
Gogo:"bacele bakuvikele "
Nomzamo:"makhosazana amanzi' ,ngilapha namhlanje ngicela ukuthi ningiqinise izitha zami zinganqobi ngezinhlelo abanazo ngami"
She's so unsure about what she's saying ,nolwandle starts groaning in the water it's like she's changing into a different person
Gogo:"nolwandle khuluma naye "
Nolwandle:"Gogo I can't control it "
Gogo:"stop fighting it nolwandle accept it "
Nolwandle:"angikwazi"
She starts wiggling her body inside the water ,flipping her neck up and down like she's having a fit
Gogo:"thulani hamba uyomlanda she's not ready yet "
Thulani takes off his shoes and runs to take nolwandle out of the water , nomzamo is just looking so confused and fearful
Gogo:"zweli Shona phakathi"
I humbly oblige gogo soon follows us to the edept of the waterfall
Gogo:"now khumbulani ukuthi ngithini ungabheki omunye ngaphandle kwakhe "
We both nod our heads and look at each other in the eyes
Gogo:"ignore the pain and make sure the wounds bleed inside the water"
Her goes nomzamo's worst part the razor part
Gogo takes the razor and slits us ,the razor cutting through my hand I don't need to look at it to know that blood is oozing out and it's getting more painful
Gogo goes back to the shore leaving us in the middle of the waterfall,the weather starts changing there's grey clouds forming in the sky and it starts raining
Gogo:"nomzamo uyasivuma lesipho sakho "
Nomzamo nods her head repeatedly the pain is eating her away
Nomzamo:"yebo ngyavuma"
Gogo:"come back "
I hold her hand leading her to where Gogo is as soon as she gets out of the water she starts quivering under my touch I take my hoodie and help her wear it
There's a setup of candles on a plate ,yellow ,white ,blue and red
Gogo:"mi thatha ukhanyise"
That's Gogo giving nomzamo the matchstick to actually light the blue candle as per tradition she needs to
When she's done I take the match stick and light the yellow one
Gogo:"syabonga mntanami konke kuhambe kahle "
Thulani takes the matchsticks and lights the red one and nolwandle is unconscious next to thulani she's laying there lifeless
Khanyisile's POV
Me:"what's his name?"
The boy is laying there on the reed mat Infront of all the candles and the burning incense his body structure really is like nkosenye's he's the perfect match
Makhosi:"u zolani mthethwa"
Me:"from?"
Makhosi:"the deep rurals where else "
Me:"he looks a bit like Nkosenye"
Makhosi:"wonke umuntu Une wele lakhe"
Makhosi is beating some herbs,when he's finally done he takes the green slimy liquid and tries making zolani drink he's unconscious but the deadly herbs are definitely going to travel inside his body
Me:"what's that for?"
Makhosi:'ngimfuna ebthakathaka "
Me:"uzohamba mini pho?"
Makhosi:"kusasa nje"
Me:"okay then kukhona okunye"
I'm already disgusted by the sight Infront of me but I remember that this is all for my daughter I need to break the curse
Amanda's POV
I'm sitting in the middle of Mac Donald's in pavillion with my best friend Vanessa
Vee:"soo mystery girl"
Knowing Vanessa she wants all the tea
Me:"we went textbook shopping "
Vee:"and took some pictures"
Me:'haibo phela he has a thing for me not the other way around "
Vee:"you don't like him? Are you crazy "
Me:'not every girl needs to fall at his feet I just like him ke"
Vee:'you go girl manje are y'all dating "
Me:"but yet darling I need to stall a bit "
Honestly I'm enjoying being the mystery girl ,plus the video call pic jus kind of made things worse for them but sweet and delicious for me
Vee:"girl you playing with fire "
Me:'and I'm gladly holding the paraffin "
Vee:"come on let's make a toast "
Me:"to being the dlamini girlfriend "

Me:"amen"
After lunch with my bestie we divide to shop for clothes a bit and really enjoy spending my time with Vanessa honestly she's just as bad as I am but then birds of a feather flock together
