Amanda's POV
Makhosi:"sekwenzekile "
That's makhosi' calling me ,or rather jus updating me that our plan actually worked
I rush downstairs and take the river water that we actually got from the river in empangeni I know with this water he's actually going to be okay
I take the water and my mother's car keys and drive out to nkosenye's house let's just hope I'm not too late ,makhosi has planned something to make nomzamo get stalled along the way and let's hope it works
I arrive at nkosenye's house within 30 minutes thanks for the driving lessons ma otherwise I would have drove slowly like the beginner that I am
I park the outside the garage and they seem like they are in a great mood judging by the laughter that greets my ears as I stand outside the door
And a smile creeps on my face as I realise nomzamo's car is not here indication that she hasn't arrived
I ring the doorbell for what seems like a minute and his mother opens the door ,my eyes rest on her small baby bump
Wait!!she's pregnant god I didn't know that I act like I'm not fazed at all I really aint though it dosent affect my plans
Me:"hi Mrs dlamini"
Ma:"hey dear ,come in"
She flashes me a genuine smile ,uggggh this lady is just so kind that it gets the bits of me why on earth are other mother's so kind yet mine but then my mom loves me ,tough love I guess
I walk inside the house and she leads me to the beautiful all white lounge one thing about this house is that it screams expensive and plus it's so gigantic you just smell the rich state mawungena
Me:"sorry to bother you ,I was looking for Nkosenye "
She looks at me with a questioning eye but it just dies down when she sees the sincerity in my eyes
Ma:"are y'all?-"
Me:"nope ma'am there's nothing going on between me and him we just friends and a few days ago we went textbook shopping so he ordered a textbook and today it came so I just came with that information so we can go take the text books he ordered "
Ma:"ohhh I'm sorry for intruding he' just hasn't been himself "
Me:"yeah I noticed that"
Ma:"hes upstairs in his room "
Me:"can I go up?"
Ma:"yeah sure ,you just take the stairs opposite the door and fourth door on your right you wouldn't miss it's painted in grey "
Me:"umm thank you very much "
I stand up and head upstairs along the way admiring the beautiful essential parts I pass ,this is a billionaires house no need for asking
I finally arrive at the door and take a deep breath and then open the door ,he's laying on the floor lifeless like he's not alive at all
Okay now time to put my acting skills to the test
Me:"HELPPPPPP"
Me:"MRS DLAMINI ANYONE HELP "
I rush up to him and slide down on the floor and lay his head on my thighs ,tears start forming from my eyes
Mrs dlamini and the older brother olwethu rush in the room and amahle the little one
Ma:"what happened?"
Me:"I...I....don't know I just found him ,his body laying on the floor lifeless"
Olwethu:"let me put him on the bed "
Amahle:"let me call nomzamo"
Ma is crying now I mean why on earth is she crying again !!!
Ma:"yess amahle please call her "
Olwethu:"she's the only one who can help right now "
Me:"can't we take him to the hospital?"
Olwethu gently picks up his brother like he's a light feather and puts him on his bed
Me:"I have some holy water in the car from the waterfall in empangeni"
Ma nods her head repeatedly,I guess she realises they could actually help
I run downstairs to my car and take the bottle of water ,on my way I pass amahle mind you I'm taking the stairs two at a time
Me:"here "
Okay my hands are now shaking good job Amanda ,you need to audition because girl your acting skills are on another levellllll
Ma takes the water and makes him drink the water ,forcing it down his throat let's hope lomuthi ka makhosi or this hypnotisation thingy actually frees off of him
Nomzamo's POV
Zama is driving by like a maioac to nkosenye's house ,I got a call from Amanda saying that Nkosenye zimvukile lezo zinto zakhe and honestly my heart is not at ease I should be there with him right now helping him he needs me
I notice a BMW M4 parked outside th dlamini house could this be Mr Khumalo if it is then boy I'm glad that he's getting help shame
I rush out of the car ,and barge in the car
Me:"hellooooo"
Amahle rushes down the stairs and pulls me into a hug ,heyyy this is about Nkosenye no time for hugging
She finally lets me go her eyes were starting to turn puffy
Amahle':"uphezulu"
I run up the stairs taking the steps two at a time ,I barge inside his room and his eyes meet mine as soon as I enter but the sight Infront of me just gets me worked up
I basically freeze when I see Amanda at his bedside helping him settle down next ,you know fixing his pillows isn't that supposed to be my job
His eyes are telling me another story what is she doing here ?I don't know when this girl gives up
Me:"how .....how ...did you regain conscious?"
Amanda:"he's too weak to speak for now "
I basically roll my eyes bitch I ain't talking to you !!
I smile it off and just walk next to him
Me:"can you please give us a minute Amanda ?"
Amanda's face turns to a frown but quickly she regains herself
Finally she walks out yohhh she's been suffocating us
I kiss him on his cheek ,forehead and finally his lips
Nkosenye:"I'm sorry "
Me:"no don't talk now you are too weak to speak"
We both smirk at that line
Nkosenye:"she ain't you "
Me:"babey I know that she could never be me ,have you seen me "
He tries laughing but it feels like there's some internal pain ,I wanna ask what happened because I didn't feel anything but I just flip it off as long as he's okay that's fine with me
I tell him about my sister Zama coming back and he tells me how happy he is for me ,and finally he dozes off to sleep
I take that as my cue to leave
I climb down the stairs ,I know the whole family is downstairs
They are all gathered ,in the lounge a clam scene
Ma:"you should visit us more often dear "
Amanda:"I sure will Mrs dlamini"
Ma:"ugggh suka la jus call me nosie"
Wow even the mother inlaw is a traitor I'm not going to pretend I like Amanda because I don't and plus my acting skills are the worst ,they wouldn't even qualify for mad buddies
Amanda:"ohhh well ngyajabula ke nosie"
Ma:"you are really beautiful"
Amanda just smiles
Amanda:"ngyabonga"
I clear my throat and the attention is now on me good!!
Zama and olwethu are chatting what !!!
Ma'ol:"hey first lady why didn't you tell me your sister is thee Zama nkosi "
Me:"and how on earth don't you realise the similarity in the surnames "
Ma'ol:".......
Me:"and wait how do you know my sister again?"
Zama:"relax tiger we go to the same school "
Me:"thank god I thought you were one of his conquests "
They both clear their throat
I ball my eyes out
Me:"WHATTTTT!!! My god you children are going to take me to an early grave "
Theres laughter in the dining room ,
Amanda:"I should go I think have overstayed my visit "
Ma:"please join us for a braai on the 31st of December "
I nearly choke on my own spit hearing that sentence so basicall everyone is in love with Amanda except me
Amanda:"I will swing by ,nisale kahle"
She stands up from the couch and walks out leaving us with enough oxygen to breath gosh she was really suffocating me wow I'm actually being so bitchy about this.im proud of myself I mentally pat myself on the back !!
Amahle':"wow that elevated pretty fast ma"
Ma:"hey it's the least I could have done ,she helped my son"
Ma'ol:"right?"
We all just look at her including uzama she finally gets tired of the stares and takes her leave
Ma:"nice meeting you Zama"
Zama nods her head and just smiles
Zama:"now this family is a reality show "
A real shit show if you ask me
Me:"guys are we still in December or are we already on April next year "
Amahle:"we just plucking out the lemons bit by bit "
Me:"now that's out of the question "
We laugh
Me:"zama we need to go back home I'm sure mom is waiting "
Zama:"right!"
Ma'ol:"when are you coming back?"
Me:"the 31st when it's the braai I don't Amanda putting her claws all over my man "
Ma'ol:"you go first ladyyyyy"
Amahle:"i hate the fact that you leaving already "
Me:"heyyy come on I know you can't live without me but just try please "
She smiles and walks me out of the house
