Hearing someone knocking on the door Lani got up from the bed groaning in annoyance.
Slipping in her house slippers she walked out the room and towards the door.
Before opening, she look through the peephole to see who it was.
"Geooo why you banging on my door so early on a Saturday" she said opening it then walked away
"My bad..you need to wake up anyway" he said closing the door and followed her to her room
Lani laid back in bed and threw the covers over her.
"I don't start work until Monday so best believe imma get the most sleep I can get" she mumbled
He smacked his lips "Lani get up"
"Nooo" she said going back to sleep
Geo sighed before walking out the room and decided to just let her sleep.
He put the food he brought in the microwave and walked into the living room.
He turned the Tv on and laid back trying to find something to watch .

An hour later Lani was finally up and had already taken a shower.
After she was done putting her clothes on she did her facial routine then took her hair out her bonnet to fix it.
When she was done she cleaned up a little before walking out the room and into the living room to see Geo knocked out on the couch.
She chuckled before going over to him and screamed into his ear.
He pitched up causing Lani to laugh.
He smacked his lips "Kay'lani stop playing bruh" he said in a low voice
"Heyyyy" she smiled still laughing
Geo got up and headed towards the bathroom as Lani followed.
"Girl can I go use the bathroom in peace ?" He asked walking in and closing the door in Lani face
"I'm bored" she said from outside the door
She waited until he flushed the toilet before walking in.
Geo shook his head before washing his hands.
"What you wanna do ?"
"I don't know what you wanna do ?"
"You need to eat" Geo said drying his hands
Lani rolled her eyes "I'm not hungry"
"I don't care...I looked up some foods you can start off with online" he said walking out the bathroom and towards the kitchen
"Okay and ??"
"And I brought soup it's small and light" he said starting the microwave
"Okay and if I throw it up ?"
"You won't" Geo said looking at her
"How do you know that ?"
"Because I know...you need to get out your head" he said while stoping the microwave
"It's not that easy" Lani responded while rolling her eyes
She sat down at the counter and waited for him as he grabbed a spoon
"Hmm...eat it slowly" Geo said passing her the soup before going to sit next to her
He pulled his phone out and got on Tik Tok.
Lani stared down at the soup stirring it with the spoon.
Flashbacks of her mom being over her shoulder and telling her how fat she was for always eating clouded her mind.
She sighed before resting the spoon down and getting on her phone.
Geo quickly removed the phone from her hands "Unt uh"
Lani smacked her lips " I can't eat it"
"You haven't even tried" he said
"Geo please can we just watch something"
"Not until you eat at least 3 spoons full Im not gonna let you starve yourself"
She sighed picking the spoon back up and stirring the soup before taking some up and bringing it towards her mouth.
She swallowed one spoonful and waited a couple seconds before eating another and another.
"Okay I'm done" she said looking at Geo
"Good, how you feeling ?" He asked looking at her
"Fine" she shrugged
"Good so finish the rest" he smiled getting up to go to the living room
"Geooo"
"Laniii" he mocked in the same tone
Lani sighed and continued eating the soup slowly.
"I'm full" she said after three more bites
A/n when your eating soup do you call it bites or sips ???😂 Mmcht y'all get what I mean
Geo walked back towards her and looked in the small bowl seeing she ate a good amount.
"Ight drink some water" he said putting the lid over the soup then washed the spoon
Lani drank some water and went to sit in the living room.
One Geo was done he walked back towards the living room and sat next to her.
"You did good" he said as she laid her head on the arm rest
"You okay?" Geo asked
"Yea I'm just full" she replied
"Ight I gotta leave in a minute..I got a client at 1"
"But you said we was gonna watch a movie" Lani said pouting
"I know. I'll make it up to you" he said flicking her lip
"With a Free tattoo?" She asked smiling at him
She'd been bugging him for a while to do a tattoo on her but she just didn't want to pay the price.
"Mmm I don't know about that one" He said scratching his head
"If you don't like me just say that..." she sighed
Geo laughed before getting up and gathering his stuff.
"Come give me a hug" he said grabbing her hand
He helped her up and hugged her waist as she wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I'll see you later..Ight ?"
"Okay" she said following him as he walked towards the door
Once he left she locked the door and went back to the couch to watch Tiktok.
Hearing a knock on the door she groaned loudly before getting up.
"Heyyy bestie" Jayda said walking in
Lani scrunched her face up "uhh hey"
Jayda and Lani haven't talked since the day Lani fought Kayla.
Lani felt like she was the only on putting effort into their friendship & Jayda felt like Lani was never around anymore.
"I just seen Geo leaving" Jayda said walking in
"Yea" Lani replied closing the door
"So you've been distant lately" she said looking at Lani
"So have you"
"Lani you don't even speak to me anymore"
"Jayda I'm speaking to you right now...& like I said before the phone works both ways" Lani said walking into the kitchen with Jayda behind her
"Okay your right I'm sorry"
Lani rolled her eyes "I forgive you...I'm sorry if I've been distant lately"
"It's okay...hug ?" Jayda asked with her arms out
Lani chuckled before walking towards her and giving her a hug.
"I missed youuu"
"Awww I feel the love" Lani smiled
Jayda laughed before sitting down.
"Sooo I have something to tell you" she said looking at Lani
"Ouuu tea" Lani smiled
"Me & Eli had sex" Jayda said causing Lani to stop smiling
"Uhh Okay"
"I know...it's weird, but you said you didn't like him & it kinda just happened" Jayda shrugged
"When did this happen?" Lani asked not knowing how she felt
She knew she didn't like Eli in that way but it's just the fact of him saying he likes her then fucking her best friend, but maybe she was just overthinking.
"The day you & Kayla fought....you really beat that girl ass" Jayda chuckled
"Okay" Lani said
"So your okay with it ?"
"Yea I guess"
"Okay.. since everything is on the table it's time for me to go. I gotta go visit ma dukes, but I'll see you tomorrow" Jayda said
"I work tomorrow"
"Okay then whenever your off"
"Alright, tell your mom I said Hi" Lani said following her to the door
"Okay"
After she left Lani locked the door & walked towards the bathroom before throwing up everything she ate.
"Ughh" she said flushing the toilet
She pulled her toothbrush out & brushed her teeth.
Then turned the shower on before getting in.

It was now 6 pm and Lani just woke up.
"Damn" she said realizing she slept most of the day
She got out of bed & freshened up before putting a hoodie on and grabbing her keys.
She slipped her feet into her slides and walked out the room towards the door.
She jumped as she opened the door "Geo"
"My bad ma...I just came to check up on you, you wasn't answering your phone" he said
"I've been sleep...I threw up after you left" Lani said
"Really ?" He said
"Yea...I think I over did it"
"Damn my bad I didn't think, you eating all of it would've made you throw up" he said
"It's okay...I'm about to go get some ice cream wanna come ?" Lani asked
"Yea come on" he said
"Good cause your paying" she laughed
Lani walked out behind him and locked the door before walking towards the elevator.
"How you can eat ice cream but can't eat nothing else ?" He asked causing Lani to burst out in laughter
"Boyyy you in my business a lil to bad" she said pressing the garage button on the elevator
Geo shrugged "just saying"
