3rd POV:
Ladybug had appeared at the party and instantly jumped into action as she began dodging Queen Dieheart's attacks, all while helping as many people to safety as she could. She was successful in getting some of the guests into hiding, but a lot of them had already been hit with Queen Dieheart's orange beams, and they were now under her control. Ladybug managed to dodge all of the enemy's attacks, but his just made Queen Dieheart furious because she couldn't manage to land a single hit on Ladybug.
"Uh! Enough of this!" Queen Dieheart yelled to Ladybug in frustration. "I have better things to do than to play around with you, Ladybug! There's someone that I'm after and you're honestly just wasting my time."
Ladybug knew that she was after Adrien and Luka, and she didn't want for her friends to be put in danger. There was no telling what Lila would make them do if she had complete control over their minds.
"No! You're not going anywhere, Queen Dieheart!" Ladybug said as she began to run towards her, but at this point Lila had already created a small army of people that was now turned into mindless, zombie-like servants to obey her demands.
"Get her!" Lila yelled. The heart-shaped necklace that she was wearing glowed bright orange, and so did the eyes of all of the people that had been put under her spell-like trance.
Chloe, as well as the others, ran over to Ladybug and worked together to hold her back. Ladybug struggled to get away, but she also tried her best not to hurt all of the innocent people that was now dragged into the fight unwillingly.
Queen Dieheart began to laugh evilly as she said, "Don't let Ladybug leave this room. I don't want the pesky little insect to ruin my plans! Got that?!"
"Yes, my queen..." Said all of her 'servants' in unison.
The akumatized Lila then jumped off of the tall DJ booth and ran away, quickly getting into the elevator. She pushed the button and the doors shut as it began to take her upward.
"No! What are you doing?!" Hawkmoth asked Lila through their telepathic connection. He talked in an urgent tone of voice as Lila waited for the elevator to reach its destination. "Ladybug was all alone! Without the help of Chat Noir and Viperion you would've been able to overpower her and take her miraculous!"
"Trust me Hawkmoth, we'll have plenty of time for me to take Ladybug and Chat Noir's miraculous. I'll even get you the snake miraculous as a bonus, but my revenge comes first...." Lila said, balling up her fists as the elevator dinged and the doors slid open. She began running through the long hallways, in search of either Adrien or Luka.
Hawkmoth facepalmed himself mentally as he let out a sigh. "Fine, then hurry! If the cat and the snake show up then it'll be harder for you to get Ladybug's miraculous!"
"Of course Hawkmoth, I wont let you down." Lila responded with an evil smirk.
Meanwhile, Adrien had made his way back to the door of the stairwell. He began to quickly run down the stairs in order to get to the first floor as quickly as possible so that he could look for his Kwami.
"Plagg, you have a lot of explaining to do once I find you..." Adrien said to himself as he reached the first floor and exited the stairwell. He began to enter the main area where the party was held, but as he did he saw Ladybug being held down by a large group of people, all of which had orange, glowing eyes.
"Ladybug!?" Adrien exclaimed, surprised by the sight before him.
Ladybug looked over in his direction. She tried to talk, but it was difficult as she struggled against the strength of the many people. "A-Adrien?.... Ugh!... What are you doing? It's dangerous out in the open!"
"Yeah, but you also look like you could use some help! Is there anything that I can do?"
Adrien was wondering why Viperion hadn't shown up yet, and the fact that Adrien couldn't transform made matters even worse because Ladybug was forced to fight all alone. But he decided that he would try his best to help without his powers until he could find Plagg.
Ladybug also knew that Chat Noir wouldn't be showing up anytime soon so she needed to figure out the best way to get free and get Adrien into hiding. She looked around and was able to come up with a plan for the both of them to escape the room.
"Fine! You can help, but you have to be quick!" Ladybug told him. "Queen Dieheart ordered them to keep me here, so they should leave you alone because their main target is me... so I need you to help me get one of my arms free, I'll be able to escape from there. I then need you to find something like..... a chair!"
"A chair?"
"Yes, just trust me! And then after that I need you to open the door to the hallway and wait for me there! Got it?!"
Adrien nodded, and after Ladybug gave the go ahead he began to put the plan into action. He ran up and grabbed the person that was holding onto Ladybugs left arm and pulled them off of her. Then he instantly ran away to find a chair as Ladybug managed to get the remaining people off before running away as well.
"Ladybug! The door is open!"
"Got it! I'm on my way!" Ladybug shouted back as she quickly did a front flip over the group of people trying to grab her once again. She landed perfectly on both feet and ran over to the now open door that led to the halls of the first floor.
Both Ladybug and Adrien ran through the door, and in one swift motion Ladybug pulled out her yo-yo, lassoed the door handle, and pulled it shut before anyone could get to them. Almost instantly the group of people on the other side of the door tried to open it.
"Adrien! Put the chair under the door handle!" Ladybug said.
Adrien leaned the back of the chair underneath the handle of the door, stopping anyone on the other side from opening it. Ladybug retracted her yo-yo, and they both let out a sigh of relief.
"Thanks Adrien, you were a huge help." Ladybug said with a smile.
Adrien smiled back and nodded, and Ladybug began looking around the big, empty hallway.
"We need to get you somewhere safe." Ladybug told him as she grabbed his wrist and was about to lead him to an empty room, but Adrien pulled away from her.
"Ladybug, you should just go without me, I'll be fine. And besides.... I lost something really important to me and it should be around here somewhere..." Adrien said nervously as he began to fiddle with the silver ring on his finger. "I have to find it quickly, so you should go..."
Ladybug looked down and noticed that Adrien was playing with his ring and a small smile appeared on her face. "Really? You sure that you don't need my help?"
"Huh?" Adrien said in confusion.
"It's best if we stick together... especially with your... situation." Ladybug giggled, only making Adrien even more confused and anxious as more time passed with his Kwami not by his side.
"Ladybug I'm being serious here, you should go and find Queen Dieheart before she gets to anymore people." Adrien said as he began to walk away. "I need to-"
"-You expect me to be able to fight without my partner?" Ladybug asked, causing Adrien to stop dead in his tracks. He felt nervous as he turned and faced Ladybug once again.
"I-I'm sure that Chat Noir will show up soon when-"
"-But you're already here..."
Adrien's eyes widened as he didn't know how to feel about what Ladybug had just said. Ladybug was smiling, enjoying the reaction that Adrien was giving. She didn't think that this would be the way he would find out that she knew his true identity, but it was still pretty entertaining.
"Plagg always was a troublemaker, but to think that he'd go missing again is a bit surprising..."
Adrien glanced down at his ring before looking back up at Ladybug. "You-..."
Ladybug grabbed Adrien by the wrist once again and began running with him down the hall.
"I know you're confused... and I'll explain everything later, but right now..." Ladybug looked back at him with a determined smile. "We need to find your kwami."
Adrien blinked a few times in order to process the situation before smiling back and nodding. They both then ran down the hall, checking every room for Plagg.
Meanwhile, as this was happening Luka had just made it to the first floor, in search of Sass. He snuck his way to the kitchen, and to his surprise he found Sass floating near the fridge with his arms crossed.
"Would you please come on? Your miraculous owner probably needs to transform right now while you're here stuffing your face." Sass said while shaking his head in disbelief.
Luka looked to see who he was talking to and, sitting on one of the counters in front of a large cheese platter was a tiny, black cat-looking kwami. He was shoving cheese into his mouth while laughing.
"Wait a minute.... You're Chat Noir's kwami... right?!" Luka asked as he approached the two magical beings.
"Yeah, and who's asking?" Plagg said sassily as he ate more cheese.
"Luka! I'm so glad you're here. I didn't want to leave your side, but when I saw Plagg flying around by himself I just knew that he was up to no good. Trust me, I was going to find you as soon as I could." Sass explained.
"Is that the real reason? Or did you just want to be alone with me?" Plagg asked teasingly, making Sass facepalm.
Luka knew that his kwami was usually very well-behaved. Sass would never leave his side without a good reason, and even though this was Luka's first time meeting Chat Noir's kwami he could already tell that he was a huge rebel by his unbothered and playful demeanor.
"It's fine Sass, but I have to transform fast." Luka told his Kwami, "Lily has been akumatized and is turning everyone into her mindless servants."
"Luka, we've been over this, her name is Lila, not Lily." Sass said with a sigh.
Plagg began laughing hysterically while holding his stomach and kicking his tiny legs back and forth. "Hahahaha! Lily?! That's hilarious! You don't even know her name! Haha!"
"What? But I could've sworn that she said her name was Lily-... Whatever! Sass, scales slither!"
Sass was sucked into Luka's bracelet, and he instantly transformed into Viperion.
"Have fun fighting lily.... pfttt hahahaa!!" Plagg laughed, but was interrupted as Viperion picked him up and ran out of the kitchen.
"Sorry, but Chat needs you right now. You'll have plenty of time to eat later, Plagg." Viperion told him. "We have to find Ladybug."
Plagg pouted, but allowed for Viperion to carry him down the hall, in search for ladybug. He ran and ran until he could hear the sound of two people talking. He followed the voices and was eventually met with Ladybug and Adrien.
"Ladybug! I finally found you!" Luka said as he approached them, "I have to talk to you! It's urgent."
"Ok, Adrien I'll be right back." Ladybug told the blond haired boy.
Luka looked over at Adrien and smiled. "Hi, Adrien." He said, winking before walking off with Ladybug.
Adrien felt butterflies begin to swarm in his stomach as he slowly turned away and began to fan his hot face with his hand. Adrien was caught off guard because he wasn't used to hearing Viperion say his name... his real name. He was used to hearing him say Chat Noir's name, but the way that Viperion's soft voice said his real name made his face heat up.
Ladybug and Viperion walked a little farther down the hall so that Adrien wouldn't be able to hear them.
"So what's up?" Ladybug asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"This..." Viperion said as he opened up both of his hands to reveal Plagg.
Plagg floated in front of them with an annoyed expression. "Do you know how much cheese we just left behind? What a waste!"
"You found Chat Noir's Kwami?!" Ladybug exclaimed.
Viperion nodded. "I was looking for Sass, but I found them both in the kitchen. Apparently Plagg snuck away to eat cheese..."
Ladybug giggled. "Yeah, that sounds like something he'd do. Come on Plagg, Chat Noir needs you."
Adrien was looking over at the two heros, wondering what they could be talking about. Viperion glanced back at Adrien, causing Adrien to quickly look away.
"What about Adrien?" Viperion asked Ladybug.
"I'll get him to safety, and then I'll take Plagg to Chat so that he can transform." Ladybug told him as she gently took Plagg and hid him in both of her hands. "I need you to find Queen Dieheart and make sure that she doesn't get to anymore people. If she creates an army of servants then there's no way we'd be able to defeat her. We have to get her alone."
Viperion nodded, and the both of them ran back over to Adrien.
"Come on Adrien, we have to get you to safety." Ladybug said.
Viperion walked up to Adrien and placed a hand on the top of his head before gently ruffling his hair. "Be careful, Adrien."
All Adrien could do was to slowly nod his head as he stared up at the snake-themed hero, and Viperion stared down at him in return with a gentle expression. Neither of them moved for a few seconds and Ladybug couldn't help but smile. She knew that Luka was Viperion and that Adrien was Chat Noir, and couldn't help but feel that the pair were perfect for each other. She didn't want to break up this beautiful moment, but she needed to get Adrien somewhere that he could transform so that they could defeat Queen Dieheart.
"Come on Adrien, we have to go..." Ladybug said as she began to slowly lead him away from Viperion.
Viperion and Adrien didn't break eye contact until Adrien was a few feet away, and then he and Ladybug began to run down the hall together before disappearing around a corner. Viperion sighed as he put a hand over his panicking heart.
"All you had to do was look at me to make me feel this way... the power that you hold over me is scary..." He thought to himself as he ran in the opposite direction to find Queen Dieheart.
As he did this, Ladybug and Adrien ran into an empty hotel room and shut the door behind them. They then looked at each other, and Adrien could see the smile that was on Ladybug's face.
"Why are you smiling?" Adrien asked.
"Well... because-"
"-Because of you and Viperion!" Plagg said as he flew from Ladybug's hands and sat on Adrien's head. "There was so much sexual tension between you two that it was suffocating."
"W-what?!" Adrien exclaimed. "Plagg where did you come from?"
"Viperion found him in the kitchen eating cheese but.... Adrien, I saw it clear as day." Ladybug said, "Once your eyes met with Viperions, you couldn't look away.... are you perhaps in lo-"
"Ok! That's enough. Plagg... claws out..." Adrien said, instantly transforming. Ladybug didn't look surprised at all after seeing him in his hero form... and it made him wonder.
"Ok, now let's go find Viperion." ladybug said as she went over to the door to leave.
But before she could open it Adrien spoke up and said, "How long..... how long have you known my real identity....?"
Ladybug turned back to him, the smile on her face slowly disappearing once she saw that Chat Noir's expression had changed into a more serious one.
"Umm... Chat, I'll tell you later. Right now we have to go-"
Chat Noir walked over to the door and locked it. He wanted answers, and Ladybug wasn't going anywhere until she explained herself.
