Today is the day Mora go visit her pops. She is kinda of scared because she didn't know if Trey had told her pops about the bruises or her being in the hospital. That wasn't a conversation she was ready to have because she don't want her pops to be disappointed.

"Mari go outside Trey here I'll be down in a minute" mora yelled at her sister while looking in her closet for a shirt, she found one hurried an put it on quickly grabbing her purse , charging, and keys and made her way outside
"I called you 2 hours befo I came and you still wasn't ready" Trey said
"Don't start you'll live"she laughed
"You ready to see pops"Trey asked mora
"Umm yea"she mumbled
"Did you tell him anything " she asked
"Whatchu talm bout" Trey glanced at her then looked back at the road
"Did you tell him about the bruises and why I was in the hospital" she mumbled
"No but if youn tell him soon the next time I talk to him I will" He said. She nodded getting on her phone to text liyah

"Ight y'all know the drill leave everything in tha car" Trey told them as he got out. Mora took everything out her pockets an made sure Mari did the same then they caught up to Trey walking in the prison
"Yea excuse me we hea to see Darius smith" Trey told the lady at the front desk
"Okay one second" she eyed Trey then started typing on her computer
"Okay can yall step through the metal detector, one at a time" she got up to get the wand thing to wave us down. When she had wave Trey down 3 times and the wand kept going off
"Are you dumb? Its my damn belt and yo ass just gon keep waving me down an not ask" He mugged her. Another cop came to escort them to the visiting room. They walked in sitting down at a round table. Mora was nervous about seeing her pops but she didn't let it show.
They heard a buzz , they turned their head towards a door opening revealing they pops. They up stood up waiting for the police to take the handcuffs off of him.
"DA I MISSED YOU SO MUCH" Mari yelled hugging him
"Damn girl you gon make me deaf with allat yelling" Darius chuckled hugging her back
"Heyy old man" Mora laughed hugging him
"What I den told yo ass about that" Darius mugged me
"Wassup pops" Trey walked up dapping him up
"Wassup son you been ight" Darius asked
"Hell yeah" Trey responded
"Ka'mari why you growin up on me" Darius looked at Mari, she shrugged which made them laugh
"Whatchu wanna do for your birthday princess" Darius asked her
"Nothing I just wanna go shopping and get a puppy" Mari told them
"So you don't want a party we could invite your friends" Mora looked at her
"No" Mari said
"How you been babygirl "Darius looked at mora
"I been good" she said
"How about school" Darius said
"School good as well they recently gave me a option to graduate early or wait so I can walk with my class" she told him
"Whatchu gon do" he said
"I been leaning towards graduate early so I can work more to get me and Mari out Nicole house but I want to walk the stage with liyah we talked about walking the stage together since middle school and ion want her to be mad if I don't get too. Is that selfish" she ranted to her pops
"It's not selfish at all if liyah a real friend she shouldnt get mad. You have to put yourself first what's gon be best for you." Darius told her. Mora nodded
"Aye pops on Monday mora sent me a picture of some stuff that got sent to the house but when we ran the cameras on they street it only showed the mail man delivering it" Trey said
"Mhmm you sure it wasn't none of y'all friends" Darius looked at mora
"No because the note said summ about coming back for me and Mari" she said. Darius nodded deep in thought because he recently got a anonymous letter saying "when the time is right I'll come around" he didn't know who it could've been
"Pops did you hear me" Mora tilted her head at him
" I'm sorry babygirl what you say" Darius said
"Yo old ass can't hear now, Ik what I'm getting you fa Christmas a hearing aid" Mora laughed while Darius looked at her with a straight face
"Ohh you thought that shii was funny well let me tell you sum funnier you was a mistake" Darius and Trey busted out laughing
" that's not funny" Mora pouted
"I'm Just playin" Darius chuckled
"How you been hold up in there" Mora asked
"Its been cool" Darius said quickly
" on your next court date will they determine if you get out or not" Mora asked
"Ion know my lawyer said they should but it's some fucked ass cops in here that will do anything to keep me here" Darius mumble quietly so the polices in the room won't hear him
"I'm just ready for you to be out" Mora said
" me too these guards ain enough" Darius told them
"Mari go to the machine and get you sum" Trey told her she nodded then walked away
"Pops you be fucking on these guards"Trey laughed
"Hell yeah but I'm ready fa some different puss-
"And that's where I stop this conversation , just nasty you need the lord" Mora mugged him
"Smith times up you got five minutes to say your goodbyes" the officer came an told them
"No I wanna stay longer please" Mari said while her eyes got glossy
"It's okay princess I'll be out soon come give me hug" Darius said. Mari walked up to him an started crying while she hugged him. This made Darius be mad at his self because if would have never got in the streets he wouldn't be in prison missing out on his kids life or he could've lead Jay down the right path and he would've been alive today , Darius blamed his self for everything.
"Ight pops imma see you" Trey dapped him up
"Ight son be safe out there" Darius said with a serious look on his face
"Imma miss you so much old man" Mora walked up to him letting her tears fall
"Imma miss you too babygirl I'm so proud of you for being a big sister and taking care of Mari and finishing school but most importantly I'm proud that you haven't gave up" Darius told her then he hugged her
"Thank you, don't be letting nobody punk you in there old man" she laughed
"Girl get the fuck outta here with that"Darius mushed her head. Then the officer came to put the handcuffs on him
"I love all y'all I'll be home soon" he said as the officer took him away.
"What y'all waiting for im hungry bring y'all ass on" Trey turned towards them

Trey pulled up at kash house ,Mora been sleeping every since they left the prison.
"Wake yo ass up" Trey slapped mora neck

"We at kash house getcha ass out" He unlocked the door
"Wait I never told you that I was coming over here" Mora raised her eyebrows at him
"I took a guess now get out so I can get mari home" He said. She flicked him off , grabbing her stuff then got out. She walked to the door knocking on it
" BESTIE I MISSED YOU" Eli yelled hugging her
"Eli you squeezing me to hard let up" Mora said
"I missed you too" she added. Eli let her go and they walked to the living room and sat down
"Heyy peoples" she mumble. Everybody told her Heyy but she felt the vibe was off in the room but she didn't asked any questions
"So how was the visit" Liyah asked
"It was good something that I definitely needed" Mora smiled
"Why everybody quiet what happened" when she said that everybody started looking around at each other
"Mora we are worried about you" liyah breaking the silence
"What do you mean" Mora said confused asf
"Like you barely be around and then you not eating" Eli said
"Im fine ion be around cause I work two jobs I be working my ass off and on top of that I'm still in school " Mora said getting irritated.

"It's good" Mora responded but she heard king scoff
"What is this suppose to be a intervention or something I'm fine , I'm good , like what else do y'all want me to say" Mora said
"Stop lying bro"King spoke up
"What, who pissed In your cereal " Mora looked at him

"King you promised " Mora stared at him

"I will when I'm ready you just can't force me to tell them something im still healing from " She whispered on the verge of tears as she was getting ready to stand up
"Tell them now or I'll tell them when you leave" king sat up on the couch
"What he talking about Paris" Eli spoke up
"Nothing" She mumbled
"Mora why you lying to us" Liyah said

"I GOT RAPED BY MOMMA BOYFRIEND AND I GET BEAT EVERY DAMN DAY BY MY MOMMA THATS WHERE THE BRUISES COME FROM IS THAT WHAT YALL WANNA HEAR AND KING I ASKED YOU NOT TO SAY NOTHING UNTIL I WAS READY THATS REAL FUCKED UP THAT YOU FORCED ME TO SAY THAT , I W-WASNT R-READY , IM STILL HURTING" Mora yelled as she cried
"Mora we didn't-
"ALL OF YALL IS WRONG I WOULDN'T DARE FORCE YALL TO TELL ME SUM YALL NOT READY TO SPEAK ABOUT I WOULD'VE WAITED TILL YALL WAS READY YALL DID ME SO DIRTY"

"Did Trey know y'all had this planned" Mora asked them while she pulled out her phone
"Nah" Kash responded. She nodded
"Ain even been gone a hour what you want"Trey chuckled
"Can you please come get me now"Mora cried
"What's the fuck happ- Im on my way" then he hung up
"Y'all don't have to worry about calling or texting me I'm good on y'all" with that being said mora walked out the house waiting for Trey
After a few minutes Trey pulled up getting out his car
"Why you crying, what happened" He asked
"I'll tell you in the car come on"she walked away
"Okay tell me" Trey got in the car
"When I walked in I felt the vibe was off but Ian think nun of it so I asked them what happened why they all so quiet and they started looking at each other then liyah started saying they worried about and allat -"
"I told them I fine but king looked at me and said why I'm lying to them and he said if ion tell them he will but he promised me he wouldn't say nothing until I was ready, Trey I wasn't ready "Mora cried
"Calm down and take you time I'm not rushing you" Trey looked at her. in the inside he was hurting seeing mora breaking down like this but he was scared for what she was finna tell him
"He forced me to tell them that Nicole b-boyfriend r-raped me"Mora sobbed not looking at Trey
"Mora please don't say that please tell me that's not true man"He said. All she did was cry
"When did this happen" He asked
"January 26th"she mumbled
"Ion wanna talk about it no more can you take me home" she laid her head on the window. He nodded starting his car
When they arrived to mora house they seen hella shit outside when they got closer mora realized that it was her and Mari stuff
"This lady is crazy"Mora shook her head
"Is this y'all shit"Trey asked mora nodded
They both walked in the house to see Nicole and old dude sitting at the edge of the couch with power stuff in front of them
"Why you in my house you ain see y'all stuff outside ion won't y'all here no mo find somewhere stay or sleep outside ion have a damn" she look at mora
"Yo you deadass right now you kicking yo daughters out cause you wanna get high. I promise you youn gotta worry about them nomo they gon be good with me" Trey scoffed
"Go upstairs get what's important to you and get sum of Mari shit then come on so we can dip" Trey walked out to put they stuff in the car
All that was running through mora is how she don't wanna be here no more ,how she want the pain to stop , why she can't never catch a break SHE IS TIRED she feels like her fight is almost over.
