Third Person's POV
"Hey, am I late?" Someone spoke.
The man sitting on the bench had his breathing hitched at the mellow voice he heard. His heart started to beat faster. He hoped —hoped that the man who spoke was the one he was waiting to see.
The latter turned his head to the side to get a proper look. His heart felt contented at the sight
"You came" The older said.
The boy who was still in his uniform, sat on the bench beside his former lover.
"You called" The younger replied.
(A/N: This is how I envisioned the scene)
Together, they watched the sunset.
No one moved. No one spoke.
At that moment, No one was hurting.
'Everything looks peaceful' Kimhan thought.
'I wish everyday is like this' Porchay wished.
TIMESKIP
After the sun had completely disappeared and the Afterglow has taken over the sky, Both men looked like they were thinking about something.
To their surprise, They both looked at each other at the same time.
"I'm sorry" both blurted out at the same time, again.
Porchay breathed out while Kimhan chuckled lightly.
"I'll go first, Angel" Kimhan said and Chay nodded. he hadn't heard that nickname for a long time.
"I'm sorry, Chay. I'm very sorry for all of the pain I caused you. I'm sorry for playing at your feelings, for leading you on, and for treating you so special only to left you hanging at the end. I'm sorry for using you, for fooling you and for hurting you. I'm sorry especially for breaking your heart.
I-I'm sorry for everything." Kim's voice cracked at the end as he was trying so hard not to cry in front of his love.
He swore to god, If only he could turn back time. He would fix his mistakes In a heartbeat.
Chay, on the other hand, has his eyes already watering at Kimhan's apology. At the perfect apology he has been waiting for a year.
All of his pain, pent-up frustrations and rants —even his prepared apology —dissolved the moment he heard the first "sorry" that came out of Kimhan's mouth.
"I'm sorry for being so selfish" The older added while continuing...
"I-I'm sorry because at the process of hurting you..." Kimhan trails off.
Chay looked at him scared that he won't say it again, that he won't finish his sentence again, that he would left him hanging, again.
"...I hurt myself too.."
but he was wrong, Kimhan finished his sentence. He finished with an implied subject meaning he did love him too.
Meaning, all those time they were together, and that time when they broke up, Kimhan already caught feelings for him.
"I'm not trying to win you back, Porchay. I-If you really are together with Macau right now, I respect your decision...Even if it hurts, I'm ready to let you go. I-I just want closure for the both of—"
Chay, unable to control his tears from streaming down his cheeks didn't let Kim finish his sentence, and enveloped his arms on Kim's body hugging him in the process. The older returned the act while stroking the younger's hair.
His tears started falling more on his eyes as he inhaled the familiar scent of the man he loves. he hadn't smelled that properly in a long time.
Silence formed around the two men scooping each other on their arms, not letting go as if tomorrow they wouldn't see each other anymore.
That atleast is what Kim thought.
"You asshole! Those are the words I've been waiting for you to say, Is that so hard to do huh??!" Porchay ranted while still crying and hugging Kimhan.
"I'm sorry too. I'm sorry that I just focused on myself and didn't see that you are also hurting. I'm sorry huhu" Porchay cried and Kimhan started drawing circles to his back to soothe the younger one.
"You don't have to be sorry, Angel. If there's anyone who needs to be one, That's me. It's all my fault shh. stop crying." Kimhan broke the hug and wiped Porchay's tears.
"I-I've always asked myself why every time someone would say your name, My heart would always sank. Every time someone would tease me with you, I'll be in denial with my feelings.
Now I know the answer, It's because I still love you—No, I never stopped loving you. It was always you in here." Porchay pointed at his chest to support his sentence. Tears still dripping from his face, Kimhan couldn't help but to tear up too.
"I love you. I love you even if it hurts. I love you even if I am bleeding from this stupid love" Porchay continued to cry.
by now, Kimhan is already at the verge of crying as well.
He had broken this crying angel too much, way too much for him to handle.
"AND for your information, Macau and I aren't 'together' if you put it in the sense of being lovers. WE are just friends. I know he likes me but I can't force myself to like him back because—because of you!" Chay shouted the last few words on Kim.
There was silence between them. Only a few sniffles from Porchay can be heard.
"I love you too" Kimhan says the three words finally.
Porchay who was crying stopped on his tracks. This — is the first time Kim had said that back, to him, without any hindrance of guilt, sympathy, or remorse.
He looked at Kim properly. Afraid that he heard it wrong.
Porchay gave him a startled look and Kimhan smiled at him knowing what he's thinking.
"Look at me, Angel"
No regrets or Hesitations. Only....love?
That was all he can see within Kimhan's orbs.
The man whom he only saw cold & darkness within his eyes before, has the eyes that yearns for him, for his love.
"If you'll let me, We can try again. This time, I won't make promises. Only assurance that I will never make the same mistake twice." Kimhan sincerely vowed.
To be honest, Kim wasn't exactly there for this. He just atleast wanted Closure from Chay upon thinking that he already belonged to someone else.
But
Right now, he's ready. Ready to open his heart. Ready to make the world know who owns his heart. He's ready for him and Porchay.
And now that Chay already clarified that Macau and him aren't together, Kim was more determined than ever to win him back.
"Kiss me" Porchay asked.
"Gladly" Kimhan smiled and didn't waste anymore second and cupped the younger's face to seal it with a kiss.
Unlike their previous one, this kiss was soft. slow. romantic
It's Kim's kiss of assurance.
Assurance that he will never make the same mistake again. Assurance that he will never hurt his angel ever again.
After a few seconds, both men decided to break the loving kiss they shared.
No one was crying anymore.
The tears dried up due to the overflowing love wrapping the remaining sadness both have endured for such a long time.
The two looked at each other's eyes while cupping each other's cheeks. A smile plastered within their faces.
At last, they were on the same page.
"I love you, P'kim. Do you love me?"
Kim could've swore he felt Deja vu with those questions.
Porchay smiled as he if he knew what Kim was thinking and feeling.
Kim smiled back endearingly at Chay. He then ruffled his again lover's hair.
Kimhan then proceeded to kiss Porchay's forehead before answering.
"I love you too, Porchay. My angel, My love, My everything.
Now, I wanna do it properly. Can you be my boyfriend again? " Kimhan asks
"YES, A million times yes!" Chay answers.
Porchay couldn't help but to kiss Kimhan again. With the older reciprocating it back, Chay couldn't ask for more.
PORCHAY'S POV
I can feel him smile within the kiss. I've never felt more contented in my life.
P'Kim loves me.
"Mine" He whispers between our kiss
"Yours" I breathe
He's mine & I'm his.
KIMHAN'S POV
I broke the kiss as I looked at this angel in front of me. My universe.
"Forever" he says while looking straight at my eyes
"Forever" I confirmed looking at his back.

At last, both of their hearts are now healing.
With the both of them having gone through a lot, they are now back stronger than ever.
Ready to continue their little piece of Forever...
