I just looked at them, a little bit confused.
They saw my expression and tried to help me understand.

"I would hardly say barely. ", I said in defense.
"Please explain. ", they said getting a little tense.
I responded with," she finished when no one cared."
I tried to show them how strong she was out there.
They laughed because I guess they'll never understand.
She finished with the loud playing of her one man band.
She never did give up even when she knew it didn't matter.
She kept going despite her embarrassment getting fatter.
Sure never won first place.
