Ella rubbed over her Newley 7 month bump as she sat on the couch indian style, a bowl of grapes in between her legs.
She had to officially got her own luxury, comfy apartment in Atlanta.
It took her a lot of time to adjust but she finally felt like she was in a good place in life.
Honestly, she already knew Dayvon was going to bail out on her, but she could honestly say she was proud that she gave him the choice.
Black men loved to blame black single mothers and lie about the mothers being bitter
and keeping their child away from them, and Ella was far from that.
Dayvon knew he had a choice. Be here or be gone, and he chose.
She still thinks of him from time to time ofcourse.
As much as she didn't wanna admit, she never fell out of love.
She finds herself thinking about him sometimes.
And still makes sure to pray for him and his safety during her nightly prayers.
She wished nothing but the best for him.
Ding ! Ding ! Ding ! Ding !
The door bell went off.
Ella scooted up from the couch and wobbled over to the door, holding her belly.
Not even having to look on the doorbell panel, she opened it seeing India standing there with Tayla.
And their new friend Dani they had met when they moved to Atlanta.
India ended up moving to Atlanta a month after Ella.
She didn't want to leave Ella up here all alone with nobody through her whole pregnancy.
So now she's living in a huge house, 20 minutes away.

. They got into a mkre serious relationship and finally publicly announced it .
"HEYY BITCHHH" India said pulling her into a hug.
"Y'all gon stop showing up to my house uninvited" Ella jokingly said .
"Mhmmm girl please. Just wait till my key get made".
India said walking past her and flopping down on the couch.
"Ooou boo it smell good in here ? What's that" Tayla said following behind her with Dani.
"Vanilla Candle from bath and body works".
Ella said sitting back down on the couch and attending to her grapes.
Chewing on it, she hummed. These were her favorite grapes — the cotton candy kind.
These were practically the only food that she could stomach right about now.
"Look at chu looking all cuteee"
"We need to start thinking of names," Dani smiled,
walking into the living room and sitting on the couch next to Tayla.
"Thank you," Ella cheesed,
"And no we don't. I don't even know the gender yet. I missed the appointment, remember?"
Usually, people found out the gender at about 3 and a half months.
Ella was supposed to find out, but she purposely missed the appointment.
She decided she didn't want to know yet.
But india did go pick up the results for her and is currently planning a gender reveal.
She wasn't very pressed to find out the gender anyway. All she wanted was a healthy baby.
Whether a boy or girl, Ella would love her little baby to the fullest.
"Why haven't you rescheduled?" Dani whined, "I'm literally dying to know."
"And on top of that you don't want no gender reveal but you getting one anyways". India said.
Ella rolled her eyes playfully.
She then plopped a grape into her mouth.
"I'll find out sooner or later.
It don't matter I'm fine with just a healthy baby".
"Bitch, no," Tayla rolled her eyes, "How we gonna buy baby stuff if you wait till the baby here ?"
"Then we can buy it after. I'm not stressing bout a thinggggg" Ella dragged out.
"Mhmmm".
Laughing, Ella stood up from the couch, shaking her head and making her way into the kitchen.
She loved how their apartment was an open concept, easier to walk to where she needed to.
The way she decorated made it look so luxury, but yet so comfy for her and her baby.
She was finally happy with her life .
Ella walked over to the fridge and grabbed her Dr.Cola.
She took a look out her kitchen window seeing her beautiful city view, along side it a river where she can see all people walking by.
She was so comfy here.
She leaned back on her kitchen for a quick second and took a breathe.
She was finally at peace.
