Hello, many of you know me as dallas1213 but from now on I want you to know me as my penname, Grace Green. And to be honest I don't even know how to begin this message but I'm going to do my best to explain the reasoning behind why I am saying fairwell to publishing on this account and writing paranormal.

But first let's dive into a little back story:

I grew up in a half-Christian and half-catholic household, (but the part of my family that was catholic, they were not practicing it) And I went to church every Sunday in a cute little dress. At night I would get on my knees and pray with the rest of my family but to me it was just something I needed to do before I could go to sleep, I was really just going through the motions. I dreaded Sunday mornings because it meant I couldn't sleep in, play outside longer, and I would have to waste an hour of my time sitting through a service I didn't understand. As I grew up, I drifted farer away from God while my family grew closer to Him. I felt like my family was on a large ship sailing through calm waters towards a promise land rather as I felt like I was on a mere raft amongst crashing waves, and I was being pushed into a storm. For years I claimed to be a Christian, but I allowed dust to settle on my bible and I lived a worldly life. One that glorified my flesh and not God. It wasn't until I was fifteen that I found God and truly had my heart set on fire for Him. But as life would have it I went through a period where I was depressed and so angry at the world and even God at times. Then at the age of sixteen, (my relationship was still rocky with God at this point, but I was somewhat in denial about it) I met a boy, (for the sake of it I'll call Liam, fake name) Liam was the son of parents who held high positions in a bigger church which I didn't attend due to it being quite far away from where I reside at. Just turning sixteen and having a heart ready to experience life at it's greatest, I went against my better judgment and dated Liam. The first few months were like a dream come true, I felt as if we were long-lost best friends. Every cringe worthy pick-up line or sappy love phrase that you hear in a teenage romance sit-com, Liam said to me, and I said to him. But after many months our relationship began to crumble as we had not built our foundation on God but on what we believed should take God's place. And God opened my eyes to how emotionally abusive and toxic Liam was, so I ended it which threw me into a downward spiral of dark depression. For months there were times where I cried throughout the entire day. My mind blacked-out most of those months and the only time I remember speaking with God was when I was begging Him to make me numb so at least then I wouldn't feel anything. But when I turned seventeen, I began to explore something I'd been wanting to try for years...writing Christian Romance. The first book I wrote was a new challenge one I never had before. It wasn't until weeks after I began writing 'Rowan' that I met yet another boy, (For the sake of the story I shall call him Miles, fake name) I met Miles while facing and overcoming one of my fears, thalassophobia. He was different from Liam and in an almost good way. But unlike Liam, Miles was open about the fact his relationship with God was not great and he wasn't really do anything about it. And so, I friend-zoned him, but as the months went on and we talked everyday feelings started to grow, but once again this hopeful love story was quick to begin and even quicker to end. But I will thank Miles even if I cannot say it to him as of right now, for he in a way he didn't even realize, he helped me get back my fire for God and he gave me the courage to create my second account on here. My second account TheChristianPrincess is souly for faith-based books. And even though Miles is no longer in my life, my passion and fire for God is burning hotter than ever.

What is going to happen to this account now?:

This account is not being deleted or abandoned! So, for y'all who might have been concerned don't be. What I am doing with this account is using it as a backup account and replacing this account as my main account with my second account TheChristianPrincess. I will try to login in daily to check notifications and post bible verses and such. Additionally, my commitment is to remove serval of my books as they are filled with sinful things, and I feel like a foolish person to preach one thing but then have books that support what I am preaching against.

So, in addition these are the books I am removing and why.

1: It Started With A Murder.

I'm pretty sure this one is self-explanatorily. This book supports the act of adultery, profanity, s>xual topics as well as scenes that could cause someone to stumble in lust due to sm-t like scenes. Nevertheless, it also glorifies the acts of violence and tries to convince the readers that's it is okay to be evil. It downplays murder and the main character is far to s-xual in every scene. Similarly, it also tries to convince the readers that being a part of a gang is a wonderful thing when in real life gangs are filled with violence and sinful things, you should stay far away from them.

This is one of many of the books I wrote when I was younger and was heavily influenced by the sinful ways of this world.

2: Dusk Until Dawn.

Honestly, I was just beginning to write when I wrote this book and once again, I was influenced by the sinful ways of this world so there are topics in this book I am not happy about and do not want to stand-behind therefore I will be removing this book as well.

3: This Is Me.

Sincerely I only want books on both of my accounts that I have the full intentions of finishing but this book I have no passion for anymore therefore I will be removing this book as well.

4: Dallas1213's Plot Ideas.

This one was a hard choice, because I have so many plot ideas, I want to share but the reason I am removing it is because so many people wanted to use my plots but failed to fulfill the payment so therefore, I am removing this book.

5: I Am A Legend.

In this book it glorifies Greek gods and profanity. This book will be removed.

6: Do It Again.

I know this book has been getting a lot more attention lately, but I can no longer stand behind it. This book glorifies the lifestyle of str-ppers and other topics that I no longer approve of. This book will also be removed.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

So, in total six books will be taken down and now I will show you the books I will not be removing and why.

1: Not What You Expected.

This book was the first book I ever completed by myself, it was the first book that I entered into the Watty's and this book is the book that really leveled up my writing and so I am going to keep this book published.

2: Not You're Typical Marine.

This was the first book I'd ever wrote that reached over 1,000 votes and it is also half butterfly-girl15 book as well therefore it would be unfair of me to take it down.

3: My Handsome Marine.

This book is also half of butterfly-girl15 book therefore I will be keeping it published.

4: The Vampire Diaries Review Shop.

Even though this will be closed for the time being and the opening date is unknown. I will keep it published so that the users who had reviews done by the shop can look back at them for advice and such.

And those are the books I will not be removing.

Why Am I Transitioning From Paranormal To Christian Romances?

At the age of eleven I picked up and read my first paranormal book, it's title long forgotten. But the impact it had on my life was not forgotten. I remember thinking to myself, 'One day I'm going to write a book about paranormal and it's going to be the best book ever." I didn't start writing until three years later but throughout those three years I planned and study the paranormal world and saw what it was lacking. When I found Wattpad, I began my writing and the first books were rocky, but after a year on my very first account I deleted it and started this account, dallas1213. For four years I wrote and published paranormal books on here, I hosted and founded awards, I won many awards, was praised for my details and writing style, I gained many followers and was asked by some to mentor them on how to write details better. But the sad truth is I allowed this app and my account to decided rather or not I was happy. If my book gained many votes and I gained many followers, I was happy. But if I lost followers and my books didn't get attention for longer than a few days I would self-doubt my writing and pick myself apart. Writing paranormal brought me an adrenaline rush and made me feel confident at times. But those feelings were temporary, and I never found peace or even love when I wrote paranormal. I always felt like it was more of a competition. But then one day I began to write faith-based Romances and I found peace, joy, and love. I don't feel sad if my books aren't noticed, I don't care if I gain or lose a follower. Because I don't write for the votes, followers, or even myself, I write for the Lord, and if it's His will I gain followers and votes, I will smile and thank Him. If it's His will that I lose followers and votes, then I will still smile and thank Him, for His plan is greater than mine. So I am saying Farewell to writing paranormal, oh what a long and memorable journey it as been.

Thankful:

I am utterly thankful to everyone who showed me kindness, I am thankful to those who have worked for me as reviewers, I am thankful to those who follow me, I am thankful to those who read my books, I am thankful to those who voted and commented on my stories. But above all I am thankful to God for allowing me to gain so much knowledge therefore be able to take what I know and use it to write faith-based books.

What Have I Learned From Having This Account?:

I have learned so much it's hard to describe it all!:) But what sticks with me the most is the experiences I have been through. I have watched my books rise and then watched some of them fall. I have watched as my books gain attention that I never thought they would. I have discovered through experiences what I like and don't like as an author. And see that? I called myself an author, if you knew me before, I never wanted to call myself an author until I felt like I had earned that title therefore I always referred to myself as a writer. But over the period of time, I have been writing faith-based books, I have felt like the Lord was or rather is telling me that it's finally time...I have earned the title of Author.

Why Am I Leaving This Account?:

I feel that I have learned all that I need from this account, and I feel the push from God that it's time to stop writing and publishing on here. In my opinion I believe I have learned all that I can on this account and there simply isn't anymore for me to learn as I'm not writing paranormal anymore. Therefore, this account is no longer useful to me, and I need to move onto bigger and better things that will brighten my future and not dim it. Things that will fulfill me and not empty me. Things that will prosper me and not harm me.

The End:

Furthermore, I am departing from paranormal because I have found it to be nothing but evil to my soul and I shall have no evil in my soul. For like God says in Matthew 6:22-24.

"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness."

Additionally, I am not condoning anyone who writes paranormal or finds their own joy in it. Just I personally can no longer partake in the genre as God has been convicting me about it. I believe God has given me the gift of writing to write faith-based books that have no profanity or sm-t in them. I shall continue on writing but only for the Lord, my books will contain only things that are appropriate.

This a hard choice, I feel sad at times thinking about my next actions but removing the books will be for the best and even though it hurts now I will see the sunshine soon. So, this is my farewell to you, my dear and loyal followers.

If you wish to continue to follow me on my journey, then simply follow TheChristianPrincess and you can continue to read my books.

If not then, I say farewell to you and may your road ahead be filled with blessings.

- Love, Grace Green.
