I finally remove his hand off my face and take a breath.
"Maybe what you're feelin' is brotherhood, being a brother is more than just a friend right? We can be family"
I try to reason and divert the situation. He's just a kid who only knows how to be a childish narcissist, hell there COULD be a possibility he's confusing his feelings, right?
Peter backs away a little and does a thinking pose.
"Mmm family huh? That is more than a friend.."

"Though instead of brothers I feel we are more like mother and father! The Indians have a ritual for mothers and fathers, what was that word again? mirage??"

I reject him while crossing my arms.
He looked hurt by my words, as if he didn't expect me to refuse his feelings and not return them.

I lie, trying my best to get him to stop.
Peter freezes,

I nod,
He frowns,

"Yeah?.."
Amelia IS a girl, half fish yes, but still a girl.
"She's like my best friend, but this isn't about her- ouch! Peter can you let go?"
I try to pull away Peter's tight grip on me. He finally let's go and turns away from me.
"You're my only brother in this world, only you, isn't that enough?"
I ask hopefully, I can only see his back, not his expression.
While waiting for an answer I realized how I only received silence.
"Peter?"
I call out
"Sorry Zayn, I... I'm going to go now, we can talk more later"
Without ever looking back he flies away.
I breathe a sigh of relief, well that went well.. not.
Though I'm glad he's gone, probably to sort out his feelings or whatever.
I did reject him after all, we probably still have to talk more which I'm dreading. I just want to leave this place now, but I'm a little hesitant.
I don't think about Peter anymore, or what he's doing. I got more on my plate than trying to deal with that boy.
Got to go see the lost boys/Wendy and got a croc to kill too. I made a deal, can't break it.
I rush to get to the tree house.
