3rd POV
Things were not looking so great for you and the Rainbooms. Why? Because it's already night time and above on the stage are Trixie and the Illusions, already playing in you and the Rainbooms spot in the finals of the Battle of the Bands which you all heard from above.
F/N: 'Trixie and her band are playing when we were suppose to. So that means it might be too late but the Dazzlings haven't played yet so there might be a chance for us to stop them. Where are you Spike?' You thought worried while Rainbow Dash rammed elbow first into the exit door.
Applejack: "Give it up Rainbow Dash. You've been tryin' at this for hours. It's not gonna open." She tells the rainbow hair girl.
Twilight Sparkle: "Maybe it doesn't even matter that we're trapped down here. I don't think the counter-spell would have worked anyway." She said sadly and you were about to say something when Applejack jumped in.
Applejack: "Of course it would have worked Twilight. Assumin' a certain band member didn't try to hog the spotlight the whole time we were tryin' to play it!" She said as she glared at Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash: "Hey! If you wanna tell Twilight she's getting a little too caught up trying to be the new leader of this band, you don't have to be cryptic about it." She said jumping to conclusions.
Rarity: "She was talking about you Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow Dash: "Me?! I'm just trying to make sure my band rocks hard as it needs to"
Rarity, Applejack, Fluttershy & Pinkie Pie: "OUR BAND!!" The fours girls yelled.
Twilight Sparkle: "But why wasn't it working? I should know what to do. How could I not know what to do? How could I have failed like this?" She said in sadness which you and Sunset saw and caused you two to be worried and looked back to the other five girls who ignored you and were starting to argue with each other.
Applejack: "It might've been your idea to start a band but it's not just your band Rainbow Dash!"
Rainbow Dash: "I'm the one who writes all the songs!
Fluttershy: "I write songs! You just never let us play any of them!"
Rarity: "I had the most perfect outfits for us to wear!"
Applejack: "Again with the costumes! No one cares what we're wearin'!"
Rarity: "I care Applejack! So sorry if I enjoy trying to make a creative contribution to the band!"
Pinkie Pie: "Hey! Anybody here remember fun? I'll give you a hint: It's the exact opposite of being in the Rainbooms!"
Rainbow Dash: "I wish I never asked any of you to be in my band!" She said furiously.
Rarity: "I wish I'd never agreed to be in it!" She said furiously as well.
Fluttershy & Applejack: "Me neither!" They agreed furiously as well.
Soon the five Rainboom members arguing got worse and worse which made you and Sunset worry even more.
F/N: 'They fighting even worse when they weren't friends! How is this happening?' You thought extremely worried until both you and Sunset saw green mist leaving the five Rainbooms bodies and the green mist is going up above. 'What the heck is that? It feels...negative energy!' You thought shocked and worried.
Back up on stage, Trixie and the illusions finish playing their song which ends with fireworks going off, causing the audience to cheer while the Dazzlings were backstage, wearing new outfits.
Trixie and her bandmates get offstage and walked past the Dazzlings.
Trixie Lulamoon: "Try to top that!" She said smugly as she walked pass them.
Adagio Dazzle: "Oh gosh! I don't know if we can." She said sarcastically and then she and the other sirens laugh until she signals them to stop.
Then the Dazzlings see the negative energy mist coming out from the front door which makes them smirk.
Adagio Dazzle: "Finally! We can absorb the negative energy from the Rainbooms!"
Aria Blaze: "It's about damn time!"
Sonata Dusk: "That's good right?"
Adagio Dazzle: "Yes it is Sonata. Once we absorb the negative energy from the Rainbooms, we will find a way to go back to Equestria and get our revenge on the ones who wronged us! But first, we will brainwash everyone here and create an army to help us get our revenge for all siren kind! Now let's get started!" She said with an evil smirk which the other two sirens nod to with evil grins of their own.
The Dazzlings then step on stage as everyone watches and they began to sing. As the Dazzlings sing, they absorb the negative energy mist that came from the Rainbooms down below, increasing their magical power.
Back down in the storage room, you and Sunset Shimmer hear the Dazzlings singing and you both have shocking looks of realization.
F/N: 'They're absorbing the negative energy from the girls and the girls possess the magic of friendship. If this keeps up then Dazzlings will become so powerful not even I might be able to stop them and there's no telling what they'll do with such power.' You thought worried and then looked at Sunset Shimmer. "Sunset, the Dazzlings are-"
Sunset Shimmer: "I know! I figured it out too! We have to stop this now!" She tells you.
F/N: "Your right! We need to stop the girls fighting!" You said and looked at the girls who were arguing. "GIRLS STOP FIGHTING NOW! IT'S WHAT THE DAZZLINGS WANT!" You yelled at them which gained their attention.
Sunset Shimmer: "F/N is right! This is what the Dazzlings have been after all along! They're feeding off of the magic inside of you!" She said which shocked the girls.
Applejack: "How can they be using our magic? It's the magic of friendship." She asked as you, Sunset and Twilight look at each other before looking back to the other girls.
Sunset Shimmer: "Ever since you started this band, you've been letting little things get to you. I never said anything cause I didn't feel like it was my place. Not when I was so new to this whole friendship thing. I still have a lot to learn. But I do know that if you don't work out even the smallest problems right at the start, the magic of friendship can be turned into something else." She said a little sadly which made the Rainbooms member look down, ashamed of themselves which makes Twilight think for a bit before she gets a look of realization and she stands back up.
Twilight Sparkle: "I can't believe all this tension was happening right under my nose and I didn't realize it. I'm supposed to be the one with all the answers. And all I've done since I got here is let you down." She said a little sad.
F/N: "You two can't take all the blame as well. I'm at fault as well, I should have tried to stop all of the fighting and arguing between us but I was so focused on trying to stop the Dazzlings, I couldn't see my own friends arguing with each other or that they needed help as well. I thought it was my responsibility to take care of any magical threat that comes our way but now I realize I can't do it on my own." You said a little sad before Sunset puts her hands on yours and Twilight's shoulders.
Sunset Shimmer: "I don't think anyone is supposed to have all the answers or try to take a difficult responsibility on you own but you can count on your friends to help you find the answers your looking and help you with your responsibilities." She said with a smile that made everyone smile.
F/N: "Your right Sunset, I can't burden this responsibility on my own so I need everyone's help."
Twilight Sparkle: "And I think we might have our answers. Come on everyone! We need to get out of here!"
You and the girls try to open the door to avail until it finally opens and Spike appears.
Twilight Sparkle: "Spike!" She said, happy to her dragon-turned-dog friend again who she hugs.
Spike: "Sorry I took so long. I had to find somebody who isn't under the sirens' spell to help me get out." He explained as he reveals the person who helped him to be Vinyl Scratch.
Vinyl Scratch: "Hey guys, what's up?" She said.
F/N: "Vinyl! Thank god your here!"
Twilight Sparkle: "Wait, why isn't she under the Dazzlings' spell?" She asked.
Spike: "She never takes off her headphones." He answered.
Vinyl Scratch: "It was surprising to meet a talking dog but he told me everything and that the new girls have dark magic they've been using to make everyone turn against each other. That explains why Tavi has been acting like a jerk ever since she joined the Battle of the Bands."
F/N: "Don't worry Vinyl, we're going to put a stop to the Dazzlings with a counter-spell that will free everyone from their control, including Octavia." You tell her.
Vinyl Scratch: "I hope so F/N, I want my friend back."
Applejack: "Come on y'all! Time to prove we've still got the magic of friendship inside us."
Twilight Sparkle: "And there's only one way to do it."
Pinkie Pie: "We're getting the band back together?" She asked hopefully.
Rainbow Dash: "We're getting "our" band back together." She said which made Pinkie squee happily.
Rarity: "Which version of the counter-spell are we going to play?"
Twilight Sparkle: "I don't think it matters what song we play as long we play it together as friends."
Rainbow Dash: "I know just the song. Fluttershy's written a really great one." She said which made Fluttershy really happy.
Applejack: "We're about to save the world here. Personally I think we should do it style. Rarity?"
Rarity: "I thought you'd never ask." She said as she brought out a wardrobe dress rack with dress on them.
F/N: "It's good to see you girls getting along again." You said with a smile.
Rarity: "Oh F/N, I've created an outfit for you to wear so once we're done changing, I want you to put it on." She tells you.
F/N: "I can't wait to put it on. Any clothes you make are always great." You said which made the fashionista blush while the other girls felt a little jealous but they all quickly got rid of it to focus on the task at hand.
Back on the stage, Dazzlings kept singing as they hypnotize many members of the audience.

Across from the amphitheatre stage, the Rainbooms along with Sunset and Spike arrive on the top of a hill in their new outfits.
Rainbow Dash: "How are we supposed to play over them from up here and where's F/N?" She asked.
Sunset Shimmer: "He and Vinyl went to get something that would help us out." She said.
Then they hear a car honk and Vinyl shows in her car with you in the front passengers seat which you got out of with your guitar and you are currently wearing your new outfit (minus the headphones, necklaces and choker around your neck).
F/N: "We're here and Vinyl says she's got something that might make the audience listen to us."
Vinyl Scratch: "Yeah now watch this." She says and presses a button that causes her car to transform.
The girls cheer to this while you just have a huge grin.
F/N: "Oh that will definitely work. Thanks for helping Vinyl."
Vinyl Scratch: "No problem."
F/N: "All right everyone, let's rock!"
Rainbooms: "YEAH!"
The Dazzlings (Singing):
Feel the wave of sound
As it crashes down
The Dazzlings start emitting red waves up into the air before sending them down into the audience, hypnotizing more members of the audience.
The Dazzlings (Singing):

The Dazzlings then float up into and start transforming into their own Pony-Up Forms!
The Dazzlings (Singing):

The Dazzlings finish their transformation into their Pony-Up Forms.
The Dazzlings think they have won until they music coming from the hill top across the amphitheatre and they look to see you and the Rainbooms playing against them.

The Rainbooms finally finish their transformations into their Pony-Up forms.
Adagio Dazzle: "So the Rainbooms want to turn this into a real Battle of the Bands? Then let's battle."

Now it's time to finish you!
Then the Dazzlings eyes start to glow red and appearing from out from out of their pendants are apparitions of their true siren forms.
Seeing the apparitions of the sirens true forms start to worry you, the Rainbooms, Sunset and Spike then the sirens' apparitions fly towards you and the Rainbooms and start flying in circles around you and the Rainbooms before heading towards you and the Rainbooms to attack.
Needing to act quickly, Vinyl adjusted the settings on her equipment and Pinkie fired off an intense drum solo, sending off sound-waves to repel the apparitions.
Rarity supported her by playing the keytar with exceptional skill and a hailstorm of diamond-like jewels blasted from her instrument and struck Aria's apparition with considerable force.
Fluttershy, with a forceful shake of her tambourine sent a torrent of magic butterflies that further repelled Sonata's apparition.
Twilight responds with her voice by vocalizing that causes the ground to rumble and vibrate as a salvo of six pointed stars launch themselves from Twilight to Adagio's apparition but Adagio fires back by vocalizing herself which causes her apparition to roar out red waves that counters Twilight's stars which cancel each out.
Then Adagio's apparition is joined by the other two sirens' apparitions that vocalizes as well, causing a vocal attack that pushes Twilight back until she, you and the rest of the Rainbooms are hit by the sirens' apparitions vocal attack and then Twilight's mic flies out of her hands...
And in front of Sunset's boot!
Sunset picks up the mic and looks reluctantly at the situation while the Dazzlings grin evilly.
Twilight Sparkle: "Sunset Shimmer, we need you!"
Sunset looked like she couldn't decide whether she should help or not or more accurately, if she could help.
Then you got up, approached Sunset and put a hand on her shoulder.
F/N: "Sunset, your our friends and we need your help. We believe in you and I believe in you." You tell her.
This gives Sunset the confidence she needs as she gets a determined look on her face and she walks up in front of her friends and in direct view of the sirens as you stood next to her as she throws her jacket off.
Vinyl presses some buttons which makes some music while you started to play on your guitar and then Sunset began to sing.
Sunset Shimmer (Singing):
You're never gonna bring me down
You're never gonna break this part of me
My friends are here to bring me 'round
Not singing just for popularity
Twilight gets up, walks over to Sunset and put a hand on the mic, sharing it with Sunset.
Sunset Shimmer & Twilight Sparkle (Singing):

The other girls pick themselves up and started playing again, giving their friends all the support they need.
The Rainbooms (Singing):
Our music is a bomb and it's about to blow
The sirens' apparitions angrily rush towards you and the Rainbooms in an attempt to prevent you all from fighting back while you all play in perfect harmony.
Sunset Shimmer & Twilight Sparkle (Singing):
And you can try to fight
But we have got the light of
The Rainbooms (Singing):
Friendship on our side!
A white ball of light lit up behind Twilight and Sunset and it glowed with brighter and brighter in intensity. Twilight and Sunset, still holding the mike together, arced out their respective free hands and formed a rainbow shockwave that repelled the Sirens' apparitions away and hit the real ones head on, full force. The shockwave also knock the audience out of their hypnotic trance. This rattles the sirens so badly they lose focus and their eyes return to normal.
The Rainbooms (Singing):

We're here to blow this thing apart

Be afraid of the dark

Then something unexpected happened to Sunset Shimmer. She starts to float up into the air and sprout out a pair of pony ears and her hair turned into a long pony-tail.
Sunset Shimmer transformed into a Pony-Up Form!
But the surprises didn't stop there as you began to float into the air and you began to feel a huge flow of power go through while the girls look at you with smiles of absolute joy on their faces because they realizes what's happening to you.
You grew a pair of pony ears, your hair grew a ponytail and a pair of wings sprouted out from your back.
You did it! You transformed into a Pony-Up Form!
F/N: 'I TRANSFORMED! This power, this is the magic of friendship...IT FEELS SO AMAZING!' You thought to yourself.
The Rainbooms (Singing):
Got the music in our hearts
We're here to blow this thing apart
And together, we will never
Be afraid of the dark
The other six girls start to float up into air like you and Sunset, each bathed in a glow of you own until a rainbow light flashed upwards from each of you into the sky. The rainbow light beam flows furiously into the grey clouds above which disintegrate to reveal a gigantic, white-glowing sphere unfurling a pair of translucent blue-white wings.
Soon enough, everyone joins in on the singing but the Dazzlings who look annoyed until they look up at the giant white-glowing sphere which transforms into a colossal blue-white alicorn whose entire body is glittered with like stars of the night sky and a rainbow mane.
Everyone but the Dazzlings (Singing):
Here to sing our song out loud
Get you dancing with the crowd
As the music of our friendship
Survives, survives, survives!
The colossal alicorn fires a pure white beam from it's horn, striking the Dazzlings' apparitions which destroys them and then the beam strikes the Dazzlings themselves.
As the Dazzlings are struck by the alicorn's beam, their pendants break into pieces and that meant they lose the source of their magic and everything went white.

Once the light faded, the Dazzlings were on the stage defeated and no longer their Pony-Up forms and when they open their eyes to see their pendants broken into pieces which shocks and frightens them.
Adagio Dazzle: 'No, No, NO! Our mother's pendants!' She thought shocked.
The Dazzlings quickly get up and try to sing...
Only to learn they are unable to sing with our their magic pendants and cannot re-cast their spells!
This results in the audience boo, jeer and pelt the Dazzlings with fruits and vegetables, forcing the sirens to flee in shame and disgrace.
You and the Rainbooms, no longer in your pony-up forms were on the stage as you and Sunset pick up the remains of their pendants.
Sunset Shimmer: "Guess that explains why these where so special to them."
F/N: "I think there's more to it than that. When I asked those three of those pendants were really special, they looked kinda sad. I think those pendant were more than just their source of magic." You explained.
Twilight Sparkle: "Either way, without those pendants and the magic you brought here from Equestria, they're just three harmless girls now."
Then all of a sudden Flash and Trixie appear before you and the Rainbooms.
Flash Sentry: "F/N! What happened to us?"
Trixie Lulamoon: "Trixie wants to know why she changed into a mean person."
F/N: "Let me tell everyone first."
You stepped on stage, grabbed a mic and quickly explained to everyone that the Dazzlings were sirens who used dark magic to turn everyone against each other as well as manipulated them, turned the musical showcase into a Battle of the Bands so they could feed off the negativity everyone would create from arguing with each other and you explained how you and the Rainbooms used the magic of friendship through song to break them out of the Dazzlings' spell and destroy the Dazzlings' pendants which was the source of their magic so they can't control anyone more. After that, everyone started to cheer for you and the Rainbooms.
Flash Sentry: "Thanks F/N, thanks girls for freeing us from the Dazzlings control."
Trixie Lulamoon: "Trixie thanks you as well."
F/N: "So Twilight, are you going back to Equestria?"
Twilight Sparkle: "Yes, with the sirens defeated, I have to go back to Equestia. I got my duties as a princess there."
Spike: "And I'm sure that our friends there are worried for us."
Rainbow Dash: "You know, since Twilight is going back to Equestria soon. The Rainbooms could really use someone to help Fluttershy on vocals." She tells Sunset Shimmer who grabs a nearby guitar and plays an awesome guitar riff.
Sunset Shimmer: "I also play guitar." She said with a smile which surprised everyone.
F/N: "Ok...that was impressive."
Rainbow Dash: "We'll see."
Then the other girls hug Sunset which she accepts as you smile as the audience applauses them.
F/N: 'It looks like everyone has finally accepted the new you Sunset.' You thought happily.
Trixie Lulamoon: "Say F/N, Trixie heard a rumour that you can sing." She asked you.
F/N: "I can. Why are you asking?"
Trixie Lulamoon: "Trixie wants to see you sing."
Twilight Sparkle: "You can sing? Now that I want to see." She says with the rest of the Rainbooms agreeing.
F/N: "Well alright, I'll sing but I need help from you girls." You said and they agree as you got on centre stage with your instruments and grabbed the mic. "Hey everyone, this is F/N L/N and my friends here want me to sing. Do any of you want me to sing?" You asked the audience who cheer to the idea. "Okay, I got a song and here it is." You said and the Rainbooms began to play a song with you singing.

After you finished the song, the entire audience cheer while the Rainbooms stare at you with love in their eyes.
The next day, you and the Rainbooms were at the school statue/portal to Equestria, ready to say goodbye to Twilight and Spike.
Applejack: "Sure wish you could stay longer." She said to Twilight.
Twilight Sparkle: "Me too. But I have responsibilities in Equestria that I have to get back to. Its citizens need me. But now I can go through the portal whenever I need to. This isn't goodbye. It's just goodbye 'til next time." She tells you all which makes you all smile.
F/N: "Well we hope to you again soon." You said.
Twilight Sparkle: "I hope so." She said. 'Especially you F/N, maybe next time I can tell you how I feel about you.' She thought before looking at Spike. "Ready Spike?"
Spike: "Ready?"
You and the Rainbooms wave goodbye to Twilight and Spike walk through the portal back to Equestria.
F/N: "I'm sure we will meet Twilight again soon."
Later you and the girls were at the amphitheatre, getting ready band practice while Sunset is writing in her magic journal.
Sunset Shimmer: "Dear Princess Twilight, Missing you already, and I hope you'll be back soon. Things are definitely looking up for me here at Canterlot High. But I know I still have a lot to learn about friendship. Hope you don't mind if I write to you for advice when I need it. Your friend, Sunset Shimmer." She wrote down happily in her journal while you approached her.
F/N: "Hey Sunset, we're going to start soon."
Sunset Shimmer: "Okay." She tells you as she gets up. "Say F/N..."
F/N: "Yes Sunset?"
Sunset Shimmer: "Thank you...for believing in me." She tells you with a smile.
F/N: "No problem Sunset, you and the rest of the Rainbooms are some of the people I care about the most." You tell her with charming smile that makes her blush.
Sunset Shimmer: 'There's no doubt about it anymore...F/N...I love you...and I will tell you when I get the chance.' She thought.
Rainbow Dash: "Hey you two, are you ready?" She calls out which makes Sunset get rid of her blush.
Sunset Shimmer: "Ready." She said as she grabbed her guitar.
F/N: "Me too."
Pinkie Pie: "One! Two! Three! Four!" She yells out as taps her drumsticks together and then you all play.

Sci-Twi: "No doubt about it Spike. There's something strange going on at that school." She tells her Spike who just barks.

Now I'm not going to move onto to the Friendship Games arc just yet, I'm going to be doing some original chapters and then we'll go onto to the Friendship Games arc.
