(Sierras Pov)
It's December 15th. I've been spending most of my time studying with Draco.
The winter dance is in 2 days and I've yet to find a dress.
"I can't wait to go dress shopping today!" Said Pansy.
"Me too! This is the first time I'm getting
a dressy dress." I said.
"So are you guys gonna go suit shopping?" I asked.
"I have enough." Said Draco.
"Same." Said Lorenzo.
"Well I don't have any. Not every ones rich." Said Mattheo.
"That's ok Mattheo you can come with us." I said.
Mattheo doesn't have the same luxuries as the rest.
Draco was the richest.
Then Lorenzo.
Theo and Blaise had money but not enough to be rich.
Draco and Lorenzo were raised in big houses and had never had to lift a finger.
Mattheo on the other hand grew up in a small little cottage and had to sort of fend for himself.
And it made sense. Mattheo was always better at doing work. Sure Draco was strong but he could never actually hurt anyone.
Mattheo knew how to survive with nothing.
He had a strong head and was physically stronger.
I think that's why he makes me feel safer. Maybe it's just the fact I know Mattheo can protect me and won't run under pressure.
"We should go to the stores while it's still early." Said Pansy.
"We're coming too." Said Draco.
"Ya I wanna go, dress shopping seems fun." Said Lorenzo.
We left the common room to go find Theo and Blaise.
Suddenly Neville ran into us.
I've never really spoken to him but I knew he was a little dorky.
"I'm so sorry I'm so sorry." He said.
"Watch where your fucking going Longbottom."
Said Lorenzo.
"Please, please don't hurt me." Said Neville looking at Lorenzo.
I walked over to him and grabbed his arm and he flinched.
"Why we're you running?" I asked.
"My pet toad ran away I was chasing after it."
"I'll help you find it." I said.
"No you won't we're going shopping." Said Pansy pulling me away.
"Go find Theo and Blaise for now." I said.
Everyone sort of glared at me except Mattheo but I was unsure why.
"What?" I said.
They started walking away.
"Im sorry again Lorenzo." Said Neville.
"Why are you so scared of us?" I asked him.
"The Slytherins have never been fond of me." He said.
"Well I'm fond of everyone unless they give me a reason not to be." I said.
"Im Sierra." I said taking out my hand.
He quickly shook it with a weak grip.
"So which way did your toad go?" Neville pointed in front of us.
We started looking around and I watched as he nervously walked.
"Don't be so nervous." I said.
"It's not you I'm worried about, it's Lorenzo."
"Why Lorenzo?" I asked.
"You don't know?" He said.
I shook my head.
"His mom is Bellatrix." He said.
"I know who is mother is but why does it make you nervous." I said.
"His mother tortured my parents into insanity, and they've yet to recover." He said.
"Omg I'm so sorry." I said.
"They don't even recognize me, they live in an insane ward." He said.
I pulled him in for a hug. And he was so respectful. He barely touched me and kept his hands up my back.
"You can touch me Neville don't be so modest."
I said laughing.
I pulled away and kissed his cheek. He turned red and smiled.
"Neville I'm sorry, I really am. I'll do my best to get the Slytherins to leave you alone. And if you ever wanna talk I'm here okay."
He nodded.
"Sierra let's go." Yelled Draco from the distance.
"Well I gotta go but remember what I said."
He nodded.
"Where's Blaise?" I asked.
"Busy with Luna." Said Theo.
I walked over and we apparated to the muggle world.
"This store has the best dresses." Said Pansy pointing at a store.
"This is a bridal store." I said.
"Doesn't matter they have more then just wedding dresses." She said.
"But isn't it gonna be really expensive."
I said to her.
"Let's just take a look." She said.
I looked behind me and the boys were trailing behind.
"Hurry uppp." Said Pansy.
"Relax women we're coming." Said Lorenzo.
We entered the store and my eyes lit up.
"Holy shit." I said.
"What did I tell you." Said Pansy.
(Mattheos Pov)
She was like a kid in a candy store. She excitedly walked around looking through the racks of dresses.
She also looked at the price tags and frowned.
But it didn't matter.
I mean come on it's obvious Draco was gonna end up paying.
If he really wanted to he could buy every fucking dress in the store.
"Mattheo come here." She said.
I walked over and showed me a dress.
"Imagine if I bought this." She said.
It was a violet dress that had tons of lace.
"You would look so good in it." I said.
"Buy it." Said Draco walking over.
"Oh come on be realistic." She said.
She showed us the price tag.
$2000.
She walked around some more and looked at other dresses.
Draco and I followed her around and watched.
Suddenly her eyes fell on an emerald dress.
Except it wasn't on a rack, it was on a mannequin.
"Guys look at this one." She said with a smile.
It was an emerald green dress which had a lace top and ruffled bottom.
"You are looking at our newest dress in the store. The material is pure silk and it hasn't been worn yet." Said the worker.
"How much?" Said Draco.
"$8000." Said the worker.
"Eight thousand!" Said Sierra.
"May I ask why it's so much?" She asked.
"This dress is made of only the finest materials for the fanciest of people. The part you see is made of silk but there is a net layer underneath."
She lifted the dress up and it revealed a harder layer.
"You see my loves this isn't a dress your looking at, it is a gown which is why it's so costly."
"Another reason why its so costly is because it can not be adjusted or changed. The way you see it is the way it remains. So a tailer wouldn't be able to fix it if its tight or loose."
"Oh well thank you very much." Said Sierra walking away.
"Your welcome to try it on if you like." Said the worker.
"I mean it would be a bit pointless." She said laughing.
"Do it for fun." I said.
"You know what why not." She said.
The worker took the dress off the rack and Sierra entered the dressing room.
Draco and I sat outside and waited for her to finish.
The entire store was quite fancy and had sofas and mirrors by the dressing rooms.
"Are you guys ready?" Asked Sierra.
"More then ready." Said Draco.
Sierra stepped out and our jaws dropped.
Draco and I stood up and Draco grabbed her waist.
"Darling you look beautiful." He said.
She looked up at him and smiled.
"Really?" She said.
"Bloody hell your breathtaking." He said taking a step back.
He was right she was absolutely and utterly stunning.
I walked up to her and touched her shoulders.
"Draco's right Sierra I've never seen anyone more beautiful then you."
"Thank you guys so much I don't know what to say."
Suddenly Pansy, Lorenzo and Theo walked by.
Theo whistled at her.
"Mother fucker you are hot." Said Theo walking over.
"Your buying this right?" Said Pansy.
Sierra laughed.
"I wish but it's $8000." She said.
"That's too bad because it really suits you." She said.
The worker walked over and gasped.
"Oh wow my dear, it fits you perfectly." She said.
"No folds or wrinkles, it's not too tight or loose, it's perfect." She said.
"If your still interested, I can lower the price to $5000 just because it looks perfect on you." Said the worker.
"That is very kind of you but I'll have to settle for another dress." Said Sierra.
"We'll take it." Said Draco.
Sierra turned around and looked at him.
"No we won't Draco it's too much." She said.
"Doesn't matter I'm buying it for you." He said.
"I'll leave you to decide." Said the worker walking away.
Sierra entered the change room and Draco followed her in.
"Draco you can't convince me I'm not buying it." She said.
"Your right your not because I'm buying it." He said back.
(Draco's Pov)
There was no way I wasn't buying her that dress. I don't care if the price remained at $8000 I would have bought it anyways.
"Draco unzip me." She said.
I unzipped her and the dress fell to her feet.
"I can't wait to see you in this at the dance."
"That's too bad you won't." She said.
"Now get out." She said pushing me.
I left the change room and walked over to the rest.
"She doesn't want it." I said.
"Well she wants it she just doesn't want you to pay for it." Said Pansy.
"So fucking stubborn." I said.
"She's not stubborn she's just a very independent women." Said Mattheo.
Sierra walked out with the dress and gave it back to the worker.
"I found another dress for you if your okay with it." Said the worker.
Mattheo and I walked over and she handed her a black dress.
"How much is it?" Asked Sierra.
"The price is $1000." She replied.
"I think it's doable." Said Sierra.
She went to go try it on to made sure it fit.
She walked out of the dressing room and smiled.
"How does it look?" She asked.
I mean she still looked beautiful but it didn't compare to the emerald one.
"Sierra you look great as usual but are you sure you don't want the other one?" I said.
She frowned.
"You think it looks bad don't you." She said.
"No you look amazing my love I'm sorry I said that."
"Mattheo do I look good?" She asked.
It's frustrating she has to ask him as if my words were meaningless.
"Sierra it doesn't matter what you wear your gonna look great either way." He said.
"Ok I'll buy it." She said.
She took it off and brought it to the register.
"I see you decided on the black one." Said the worker.
"Yup." She said.
She started pulling out her wallet but come on.
I pulled out my credit card and handed it to the worker.
"Draco no." She said.
"Let me." I said.
"Your not gonna let me pay are you?" She said.
"You are correct." I said back.
"Fine." She said.
I swiped my card and payed.
She packed up the dress in a bag and handed it to Sierra.
(Sierras Pov)
We left the store and walked around.
"Don't make this a habit Draco."
"It'l be a habit till I die darling." He said back.
I pushed him and laughed.
"Mattheo you need a suit don't you?" I said.
"Ya but let's finish you off first." He said.
"All I need is jewelry and shoes that won't take long." I said.
"Go with Mattheo." Said Draco.
"I'll take care of your jewelry and shoes." He said.
"Absolutely not your gonna overspend and I seriously don't want that." I said.
I genuinely don't want Draco to keep buying me things. I know he's rich but it doesn't matter I wanna pay for things myself.
"Give me a price limit." Said Draco.
"The most you can spend is $200." I said back.
"On shoes and jewelry?" He said shocked.
"Yes Draco for both." I said back rolling my eyes.
"At least $500." He said.
"Fine." I said back.
"Well I'm going, enjoy suit shopping." Said Draco.
"How much do you wanna bet he's gonna over spend?" Said Mattheo.
"I would bet my life." I said back.
We walked into a suit shop and it smelt of cologne.
"Welcome to our store." Said a man with a suit on.
We started walking around and looking at suits.
"Anything specific your looking for?" I asked him.
"Not really. Anything is fine and nothing too expensive."
(Draco's Pov)
She most definitely shouldn't have trusted me alone. First of all I don't have a price limit. I'm gonna buy whatever I please.
Her dress is black so I would assume she wants gold jewelry.
But then of course there's no way in hell she's wearing that dress.
"I remember you, your back." Said the worker.
"I came back for the green dress my friend tried on earlier." I said.
"I'm so glad she changed her mind." Said the worker.
She didn't change her mind at all actually but I want her to have it.
"Yes she did so do you still have it?" I asked.
The worker nodded and took it off the rack.
"Are you sure you want this? I'll keep the price at $5000." She said.
I handed her my card and bought the dress.
I looked at my total.
$5000.
I added a $3000 tip so I could pay for the dress in full.
"You didn't have to do that my dear." Said the worker.
"Don't worry about it." I said back.
She put the dress in a bag and handed it to me.
I then walked into a jewelry store and looked around.
"Hello how could I help you?" Asked a lady there.
"I bought this dress for my friend and was wondering what jewelry you think would best match?"
I pulled out the dress and showed it to her.
"Wow that's beautiful, follow me this way."
She said.
"So before we start what is the price your looking for?" She asked.
"The price doesn't matter I just want what you think looks the best."
"You must really love this friend of yours." Said the worker.
(Sierras Pov)
We just finished buying Mattheos suit and met up with Pansy, Lorenzo and Theo.
"Where's Draco?" I asked.
"He apparated back since he was done." Said Theo.
"Oh I didn't even see what he bought."
"I'm sure it was great Draco has good taste." Said Lorenzo.
We apparated back to hogwarts.
Mattheo and I found Draco in his dorm.
"Draco you came back so soon, can I see the jewelry?"
"Uh no." He said back.
"Why not?"
"Because I went over budget."
I shook my head at him.
"Of course he did." Said Mattheo.
"So I decided to buy you one main ring and I know you already have lots of gold ones to wear around it."
He pulled out this pretty emerald ring.
"Draco this ring is stunning!" I said gasping.
"I figured if you couldn't buy the emerald dress why not have emerald jewelry."
"Is this real diamond? And gold? AND emerald?"
I said in shock.
"Of course my love why would I ever buy fake jewelry."
"Draco I can't accept this how much did it cost."
"Why are you always so concerned with the cost of things dear?"
"I don't like it when you spend a lot of money on me."
"The price is $1050." He said.
I gasped.
Mattheo gasped.
"THATS MORE EXPENSIVE THEN MY DRESS." I said.
"The limit for shoes, and jewelry was $500. You bought 1 ring for double the amount."
I said.
"It's no returns so it's yours." He said.
I took the ring and gave him a hug.
"Thank you so much Draco I really appreciate it." I said.
"So for your necklace I bought you this gold heart with a little infinity sign."
I gasped again.
"This is also so pretty." I said.
"It was $500 but it has a meaning behind it." Said Draco.
"Of course it fucking does." Said Mattheo rolling his eyes.
"So there's a heart because I love you. And there's an infinity symbol because no matter what I'll never stop loving you."
"Awww." I said.
It was such a sweet gesture.
I heard the door slam shut and noticed Mattheo left.
"Ignore him, he just can't accept the fact I love you."
"Like your any better." I said back.
"Finally your shoes which were $200." He pulled out a box and inside lied a pair of cute black heels.
"This is perfect!" I said.
"Try it on." He said back.
I slipped my foot inside and it was snug.
"How did you know my size?" I said.
"I know everything about you darling." He said back.
"I don't know what to say except thank you."
"Your welcome." He said back.
(Mattheos Pov)
Sierra and Draco finally came to the common room and I immediately pulled her aside.
"I'm sorry I stormed out earlier." I said.
"That's okay Mattheo. Don't ever think that money matters to me."
"I know it doesn't but it just sucks seeing Draco give you so much. If I was rich I would shower you with gifts." He said.
"Mattheo it doesn't matter, seriously I don't care whether or not your rich." She said.
Hearing that was reassuring and I knew Sierra wasn't the materialistic type.
"I love you." She said kissing my cheek.
"I love you too baby." I said back.
