Chapter 8 : Jack Drew that's creative!
My eyes widened as I see who it is.
" Y-You."I stutter a little, mentally I face palm. This guy in front of me is amused and has the guts to smirk at me God why me? Why him?
" What happened Monalisa , did cat caught your tongue! " he says as he tilts his head to a side and looks at me.
That's when I snap into reality I take his arm and pull him to my table.
"It's Melissa, Melissa winget understand! Why are you here ? " I say
"Whoa whoa hold on princess! You want me all for your own self then I am sorry that can't happen my fans will feel bad. " he says and I roll my eyes.
"In your dreams Jacob now come on you are too heavy to pull around." he looks at me skeptically.
"Then where are you taking me? "
" Just come on I don't want you to be like this . I don't want people to see you. "I say and he gives me 'are you serious look' I just take him there. I take out my cap and a new mouth mask.
" Here wear these. " I hand them over to him. He gives me a look.
" Oh come on ! Stop with the looks already and wear them and I promise you will be glad that you wore them. "
" Why would I be glad to wear these? " But anyways he wears it.
" Cause you won't be identified, so you won't be mobbed , so you can freely move and look around ." I smiled and mumble ' less attention under my breath'.
He smiles at me and just then Shimmer comes rushing towards me looking all hyper.
" Woah woah slow down horsie, what has gotten you all this hyper? "I ask playfully , she just squeals.
" Mel I have got the latest news that JACOB ANDREWSON IS PERFORMING IN SAN FRANCISCO Oh My God !!! I can't believe it ." shimmer squeals again. And I pinch her lightly.
"Owww... what was that for? "
"You said you couldn't believe it so...hm. " I shrug and smile smugly. She glares at me.
"Youuu....... huh... your punishment is that you are coming with me to the concert. " she laughs evilly.
" Oh no no no...... I'm not coming shimmer you won't try- "I am cut off as someone clearing their throat. And I look the person yeah that's him Jacob Andrewson in all his glory is looking at me. I blush as I'm embarrassed as he had to witness this. I smile sheepishly. Shimmer gives me a curious look and once an over to Jacob as his face is covered I know there won't be any scene here.
" Oh umm.... who's this Melli ? "she looks at him. Yeah now I am almost caught umm... think Melissa think.
" He is the guy I met at the beach in L.A. His name iss.... Jack Drew . Yeah Jack Drew. " she smiles at him but he's looking at me as if I have found his little secret.
Shimmer extends her hand for him to shake and he does,
"Hi Jack I am Melissa's best friend Shimmer Hunter. Nice to meet you. " she smiles .
" Yeah me too ."
"Hey I am sorry to ask but why have you covered your face with a mouth mask " shimmer asks and Jacob looks at me.
"Oh, he had flu so as he is recovering he is covering his mouth to prevent infection spread " I say and he say' yeah '.
" Oh get well soon and don't forget to come to Jacob's show tomorrow ." she say
I mumble ' Believe me he won't .' Shimmer smiles at him but he looks at me I guess he heard me.
" Okay time to go Kev, Ty and others are coming gotta see them see ya. " she waves and walks way.
" Phew... that was close !"I let out a large breath. Jacob chuckles.
" what? "I ask him and he kinda stops laughing and looks at me.
" Jack Drew that's creative . " he smirks I roll my I eyes.
"What, I didn't wanna lie much to her so I said so! " I says to him. He looks at me with an odd expression .
"You remember that day at the beach and the kids? " Oh no that's why I felt the voice too be similar, No I can't talk about this so I don't respond to it. Instead I change the topic.
"Oh come on now, let's go I don't wanna stand here all day ." He just smile comes along.. I show him different pictures on the display.
" Why did you come here, umm... I didn't mean it like that ok just like how could you find time and so.,...." I don't know how to complete it so I trail off, he just looks at me.
" I guess I wanted break? " he says it more like a question I understand that he doesn't want to talk about it so I let it slip.
" Oh okay now come on lets have some refreshments it's been a long time since we have been here. " He just nods and chuckles silently.
♡ JACOB'S P.O.V.♡
" What the hell are you doing Jacob! Get ready we are late I have scheduled lots of events today? " I roll my eyes as Isabella shouts at me. She even shouts at Miles. Miles my stylist and kinda only friend.
" We leave in five . You have a radio interview, then you meet Angela at coffee place and a walk with her then you have got the talk show and then we are going to the ad shoot for the new show and then recording. " she has planned the whole day with no me time. Oh let that be aside I guess she didn't even plan time for my meals.
" Get him ready, there shouldn't be any delay today " she spat and she leaves. -
"Earth to Jacob , Jacob to earth . " Melissa snaps me out of my thoughts and smiles .
"Yeah. " I smile at her.
"Oh now come on let's move forward. " she says and explains rest of the things to me ,
I don't know whether I hear and remember what she says but there is something different about her the way she is passionately explaining me and the way her face has that smile. I take it that she love her work. Her work show that same quality it's simply beautiful.
"Okay that is it . " she claps her hand , that bringings me out of my thoughts.
"Yeah thanks. " I say.
" Your are welcome. Okay then time for me to leave bye. " She says and leaves. Oh how I don't want her to leave, a normal conversation after long time a person who does not go crazy in my presence and scream. I will make her be my side. Take my phone dial his number.
"Hello, Tony ."
" Yeah it's me. "
" I want your help. "
" I want you to get me Melissa winget."
" Yeah I know get her, thanks bye."
I cut the call and leave the Gallery with a smile on my face, 'We will meet soon Melissa Winget and see you till then.'
