When I woke up aidan was lying beside me on his phone, he was on Instagram posting something
" what's that?" I asked grogily
" check your phone and you'll know" he replied
I groaned and grabbed it from the table beside my bed
" it better not be an ugly pic of me" I sighed
" it's not ugly,cos you're not ugly"
I opened my phone and went into Instagram, yep, he had definitely posted something. I tapped on the post ,and lo and behold . An ugly picture of me.

I shut my phone
" see, told you it wasnt ugly, they all think you're absolutely adorable. Which you are." He said
" whatever " I replied " are the others still in the waiting room?"
" yeah" he nodded " I was just texting them. Do you want them to come through?"
" yeah"
He pulled out his phone once more and sent a text to the group chat we had created specifically for this holiday
" they should be coming through soon" he smiled gently " anyway, how did you sleep?"
" great, thanks " I replied " what about you?"
" perfect " his smile only becoming cuter the more his dimples deepened
Suddenly the door burst open, in ran ritu, she was closely followed by the others who were panting.
" move " she demanded at aidan "you've had her for fucking hours"
He chuckled and edged away, ritu enveloped me in a hug
" hey ritu" I laughed
" dont do that again, you scared the living shit out of me." She replied bluntly then pulling away
Everyone gave me a quick hug
" Emmy left to get you something as a little hope you feel better gift" said justin
" oh yeah, and that is?" I furrowed my eyebrows
" well it wasnt allowed in the hospital, but when you come home you can see it" emmy nodded
" when are you coming home?" Asked felix
" the doctors said she could leave tommorow " aidan replied
" thank fuck" I sighed " I hate being here."
" it's only been like seven hours" robert barked out a laugh
" and you've been asleep for like all of it " added david
I rolled my eyes " yeah, and I wanna go to sleep again. "
" and shes back" tom chuckled lightly
The door swung open once more, in walked three doctors
" sorry to interrupt " said the man from earlier " but all of you must leave, we need to medicate our patient "
I gulped anxiously and gripped aidans hand as he tried to get up and follow the others out
" dont go" I said panickingly "I don't want to be alone "
He sighed and bit his lip, waiting for someone to answer for him.
" I'm sorry madame" said a woman " you must be alone, we wont hurt you. Do not worry"
My hold on aidans hand tightened
" its ok" he re assured me with a nod " I'll be back soon"
I took a deep breathe in " you promise?"
" cross my heart " he gently rubbed his thumbs across my knuckles , I looked at the doctors "cmon darling, I need to go catch up with the others"
" I swear to god Gallagher if you dont come back " I paused " I will kill you"
" yeah , sure you will. " he chuckled " I'll see you soon" he lent down and kissed me " I love you"
" I love you too "
I released his hand and he walked away

It was a new day, the doctors had allowed me to leave about twenty minutes ago. I have changed into my clothes , and now we are all driving home
The cars had been re arranged so now, felix beth justin and elliot where in once car, me ritu david and aidan in the second and Emmy robert and tom in the last . The third car belonged to beth, felix and I couldn't drive.
The car was deathly silent, it felt like no one was breathing. The whole vehicle was filled with an awkward aura, which was completely my fault.
" so" David's voice cut through the silence like a knife " you feeling any better?"
" yeah" I replied then going back to silence
" excited to see what emmy got you?" Ritu asked, clearly trying to lighten the mood
" sure "
I really wasn't in the mood for a conversation, I was uncomfortable from sleeping in the hospital beds, aidan wasn't allowed to stay with me overnight, breakfast was shit and I had caused everyone discomfort and distress.
I felt Aidan hold my hand gently, my head parked up and I looked at him
'Are you ok?' He mimed
'Tired' I mimed in response
He nodded gently then allowed me to rest my head on his shoulder as we came closer to the house.
If I was being completely honest I was scared to go inside , which sounds completely stupid. If you're not someone who tried to kill themself, and failed, in the bathroom directly next to your bedroom in said house.
David parked up in the driveway , I took a deep breathe in and squeezed my eyes shut
Its gonna be fine, I told myself in some pathetic attempt to feel better.
Aidan unclipped his car seat , I copied . The door swung open and the four of us jumped out of the car, soon followed by the other cars of people.
I stepped into the house, it was quiet . Almost to quiet.
" so, y/n" said emmy " you ready to see what I got you?"
" yeah" I nodded
" alright, just--" she pulled me into the living room and sat me down on the sofa " stay here, close your eyes, I'll be right through "
She scurried away, allowing me to squeeze my eyes shut , I felt someone sit down beside me their hand rested on my thigh making me hope to god it was Aidan.
I momentarily tensed up then peaked to see it infact was aidan. He rubbed his thumb gently over the top of my thigh while his other fingers rested on the inside.
I heard emmy walk back inside the room
" hold out your hands " she instructed
I sighed and held out my hands
She placed something in them, it was fluffy, and moving. My eyes shot open the second I heard a bark
" oh my god. Emmy." My eyes widened as i looked at a small pomsky puppy
" what are you gonna name it?" Asked ritu
It was definitely a boy
" I dont know" i furrowed my eyebrows " i think....." I inspected him " he looks like a cooper."
" aww, that's a cute name" robert agreed
" yeah " I nodded with a slight smile " thanks emmy" i gave her a hug after placing cooper down on my lap " I wonder if hes gonna like cheddar.."
" who's cheddar?" Asked justin
" my snake, he lives back in the UK with my parents " i explained " hes an albino Burmese python, very well trained , and very friendly. But hes also quite small for his breed"
" oh" david nodded " you failed to tell us you have a snake?"
" and a bearded dragon " I added "her name is smaug, after the dragon in the hobbit "
Aidan chuckled
" you are a reptile person then?" He asked
" I like all animals, but reptiles and dogs are easiest to keep" I shrugged " speaking of which, cooper needs a collar "
" I've got you covered " elliot pulled out a small dog collar with my phone number on it and adress
I thanked him and put the pastel green collar around coopers neck, he looked adorable!
" I probably need to go get some dog food, and a dog bowl, and a dog bed."
" dont worry about that" said tom " I brought all of that"
My heart melted " you guys are so sweet! " I exclaimed " thank you"
" no problem " elliot patted my shoulder with a chuckle
" you look tired " Robert commented " did you sleep well?" I shook my head
" no." I sighed " the bed was so uncomfortable. And cold. "
" mabye you should go get some rest?" Aidan suggested
" yeah, mabye I should " I stood up , still holding cooper in my arms " thanks for everything guys, but I'm off to bed."
I walked up the stairs and entered my room, coopers dog bed was placed next to the blanket fort , there was a box with a note beside it .
I looked at the notes

These are puppy pads, it's for the dog, if he doesn't like peeing outside you train him to do his business on these:)- ritu

I smiled and put cooper in his bed, he curled up and fell asleep .
I went to get in the blanket fort when I noticed , I hadnt bathed in a while. I walked into the bathroom and began running myself one.
