Junu: How're you feeling?
Her cell lit up with a new message from Junu, unexpectedly.
Somin: Aren't you supposed to sleep?
She teasingly wrote back. Is he early even on days off?
Junu: I would sleep, but my Sunday schedule doesn't let me.
Junu texted back.
Nobody can sleep nowadays. Somin thought.
Somin: What schedule? It's the weekend for God's sake!
She was really tired.
Junu: My family attends Sunday church service.
The text said.
Somin: I didn't know you were a believer, I'm an atheist, hope it doesn't offend you.
She shuddered with the notion of being a Christian, going to churches, and doing "stuff".
Junu: I am not, my parents are.
Somin felt sorry for him.
Somin: Wanna hang out again later? I can introduce you to my brother.
Somin had a hunch that Pomchun would like him.
Is it a bad idea?
Junu: I'll try. If I can fake my death I'll let you know.
The tired paintress smiled, he was effortlessly funny, slowly coming out of his shell. The more she knew him the more she loved him.
How come he's so shy all the time?
Hmm, I'm no better.
Somin: I feel tired, my leg hurts a bit, but all and all good.
She finally answered his question.

Pomchun: Where are you?
Her brother texted.
Somin: Don't be so impatient.
She teased.
Somin: I've got a hurt leg, give me a break.
She shared her location.
Somin: I'm in desperate need of a coffee.

Pomchun: I know, sis. You always have been.
He texted her back.
A beautiful platinum blond man came out from the faraway alley. He was grinning, the smile meeting his naturally dark eyes that were clearly lightened with blue contacts. He held two cups of takeaway coffee and Somin could almost taste the rich smell wafting toward her as he approached.
Her brother was always well-decorated, and extravagantly so. His ears were covered with signature earrings. Golds and silvers mixed in a bold statement, framing his face. What always stood out to Somin was a particular helix piercing connected by a chain to his lobe.
He's looking like an angel. A dark shirt with a gray floral pattern and simple black fitted jeans flattered his body.
Yep, that's him, no wonder there was no beauty left for me when he stole it all for himself, damn. Thanks, mum.
Why does it look like he would have clicked with Teho fashion-wise? Aaand now I'm thinking of Teho again.
Pomchun gave her a big hug, softly kissing her forehead and handing her the thermos.
"You look different, I now get why mum sounded worried," he mocked her.
"Pomchun-ah, don't be like that." She smacked him across his chest playfully.
"On the contrary, I actually feel much better for once." She smiled, glad to see a familiar face after such a long time.
"Well, you're the master in hiding it," Pomchun joked.
"So you say, I look like shit." An offended Somin laughed. "How loving of you."
He rolled his eyes dramatically. "You said that yourself, not me." And gave her a wink.
