Bondita seated sadly "me bhi na aajkal unhe gussa dilane ka koi mouka nahi chodti! Lekin vo bhi to Bondita se thoda pyaar se baat kar sakte the na! Khadoos Babu!" She acted.
Then she again said to herself "buddhu bondita! Patibabu aaye the yaha aur tu puchna hi bhul gayi unse surgery wali baat!" After she headed towards the study where anirudh was there. She entered without knocking and looked him he just washed his face and wiping from towel.
She said to him "patibabu mujhe apse kuch puchna tha!" She asked while entered inside the study. Anirudh listen her voice and stood in shock. "Bo.... bondita tum tum yaha kya kar rahi ho?" He asked like he was covering his face through towel. "Patibabu vo!!" She couldn't complete her sentence anirudh quickly went inside the washroom. She stood in confused. "Patibabu ko kya hua? Abhi to washroom se aaye the phir vapis chale gaye!" She asked in confused way.
After sometime he came out of the washroom and found her she was busy in thoughts he snapped his hand in front of her eyes and asked "jaruri kaam tha kya bondita? Jo tumhe abhi aana pada!" He asked while turning his face another side. "Han vo....mujhe puchna tha ki aapne plastic surgery ke baare me suna hoga?" She asked founding a correct answer. He thought sometime and replied "han suna hai....aur even dekhi bhi hai. Par tumhe kyo Achanak ye sawaal aaya?" He asked looking straight in her eyes.
"Vo.....vo patibabu me puchna chahti thi ki aap jab se aaye hai tab se na to aap mujhse pyaar se baat karte, pyaar se baat karna phir bhi chodiye apne mujhe itni badi invention ke baare me nahi bataya?" She asked directly to him. "Isme batane ki kya jarurat thi? Newspaper me news aati hai tumne padhi nahi?" He asked. "Newspaper me news to Aaj aayi hai tab hi to pata chala, lekin apko ye baat to kab se pata hai! Lekin apne mujhe batana jara bhi jaruri nahi samjha! Kyo patibabu?" She asked being emotional.
"I don't think it's mandatory to telling you everything about what's happening everywhere....so, it will be better for you that you should concentrate your mind at home" he told sternly. She gulped after seeing this side of anirudh. "Par patibabu...." She couldn't complete her sentence he shut her mouth with his finger. She looked him nervously. "Kaha na it's not important for you....jaao jakar so jaao" he ordered her. She left without asking further to him. She said in mind "ye patibabu ko kya ho gaya hai?" She asked herself. Anirudh said to himself "bondita bhi na bahot sawaal puchti hai!" He told to himself.
Next day prakriti was talking to som "som ji apko pata hai didi kal hospital me behosh ho gayi thi!" Prakriti told to som. "Kya! Boudi behosh ho gayi thi? Vaha par dada to the unhone use thik kiya hoga!" He said casually. "Nahi som ji unhe dada ne nahi balki sohem dada ne thik kiya,vo behosh ho gayi thi aur luckily sohem dada the unke pass to unhone hi didi ko davai di aur unhe check Kiya aur bola ki kuch dino me unki report bhi aa jayegi" she told to him. "Acha! Mujhe laga ki dada ne unhe thik kiya hoga! Par koi baat nahi sohem to boudi ke ache dost hai.....kya faraq padta hai ki dada ne check Kiya ho ya sohem ne!" He replied. Prakriti nodded. Someone listen their conversation, it was anirudh who listened.
He turn head in aggresive way then he went to the room. Bondita was setting the clothes he held her wrist tightly and pinned in wall. "Tumhe mana kiya tha bondita hospital aane ke liye! To tum kyu aayi! Tumhe meri ek baar ki baat samajh kyo nahi aati hai bondita?" He asked while going dangerously close to her and helding her both wrist tightly. In this way her bangles gets broke, She winched in pain. "Aahhh! Patib...... patibabu kya kya kar rahe hai aap?" She asked in pain while holding her hand. "Kya hua dard ho raha hai?" He asked in angry way. "Aise kon pakdta hai patibabu! Kitna dard ho raha tha mujhe!" She replied while having a tear in her eyes. She looked him into his eyes. She only found anger and frustration into his eyes. "Bolo bondita kyo aayi thi tum hospital!! Kya tumne thaan rakha hai ki jo me kahunga vo tum nahi karogi? Han! bolo!" He asked while going more close to her. She was taking deep breathing and gasping in oxygen. "Pati..... patibabu me vaha gayi thi, kyoki.....kyoki vaha jarurat thi meri, us lady ko meri jarurat thi is.... isliye" she replied in stammered way.
"Acha! Us aurat ko tumahari jarurat thi! Ya kisi aur ko tumahari jarurat thi!!" He asked intentionally. Bondita looked him in shocked way why he was asking this kind of question. "Patibabu us patient ko meri jarurat thi, that's why i had gone" she replied. "Looked into my eyes then answer!" He order her. "Nahi! Nahi dekhungi!" She answered strictly while turning her face aside. Because in between them Only inches a gap left to touch thier lips. She was gasping in pain. "Maine kaha idhar dekho bondita!" He ordered her. "Nahi nahi dekhungi! Aap door hatiye mujhse, it's hurting!" She replied in pain.
"Acha! To mere touch karne se tumhe dard hota hai? Aur jab vo tumhe touch karta hai to tumhe bura nahi lagta?" He asked deliberately. Bondita again looked in confused way. "Aap kya bol rahe hai mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha hai! Aur aap kiske baare me baat kar rahe hai?" She asked with moist eyes. "Don't be so inocent, you know very well whose I'm taking about!" He replied. "I really don't know whom are you talking about!" She replied in same way with jerking him.
He little away from her and told "Me sohem ki baat kar raha hu bondita, jab tum kal behosh hui thi, to mujhe kyo nahi khabar bheji? Me karta tumhe check, me dekh leta ki kya problem hai tumhe! Par nahi tumhe to us bloody sohem se dikhana tha, uski madad Leni thi!" He replied differently which were not bearable to her she replied in different way. "Bas patibabu! Kya bole jaa rahe hai aap! Sohem mera dost hai, aap ye baat achi tarah se jante hai, phir kyu uske baare me ulta sidha bol rahe hai?" She asked to knowing the reason.
"Janta hu ki vo tumhara dost hai, janta hu ki tum use sirf apna dost manti ho! Par ho sakta hai na ki uske man me tumahare liye kuch aur ho! Ho sakta hai ki vo sirf tumhe apna dost na mante ho....balki dost se kahi jyada Manta ho isliye vo tumahare pass tumhare karib rehne ki kosish karta rehta hai." He sows the seeds of doubt in her mind. Bondita thought sometime then as she remembered how he helped her for saving her patibabu's life from death she replied him "nahi patibabu mujhe nahi lagta ki sohem ke man me aisa kuch hai, agar hota to mujhe jarur batata!" She answered him while showing her believe on him. "Tum kuch had se jyada bharosa nahi karti ho bondita us par!" He asked deliberately. "Han karti hu me us par bharosa aur Bharose ka karan bhi aap ache se jante hai....usne aapki jaan bachayi thi varna us hadse me me apko hamesha ke liye kho deti!" She replied in crying way.
Anirudh in mind "ab tum mujhe kabhi nahi khougi bondita! Kyoki ab me hamesha tumahare paas rahunga, har ghante har minute har second" he told in mind.
"Acha! Aisi baat hai to phir vo kya tha jab maine usse pucha tha ki tum shadi kab karoge aur kisse karoge! To tumhe pata hai usne kya javab diya tha!" He told. She sending reaction to knowing the answer. "Batata hu....usne kaha tha vo shadi tab hi karega jab use koi tumahari jaisi ladki milegi! Tumahari jaisi khoobsurat, tumhari jaisi baat karne wali, tumahari jaisi doctor, tumahari jaise hasne wali, tumhari jaisi care karne wali" he answered her.
"Sohem ek acha ladka hai patibabu and he really deserves a better girl....me dugga maa se bhi pray karti hu ki use mujhse bhi achi ladki mile, jo use pyaar kare, uska khyal rakhe" she explaining his life's partner qualities to him but his looks giving a different vibes that he didn't like to listen this filthy talks for others from her mouth.
"Aur apko pata hai patibabu! Sohem to itna acha hai ki koi bhi ladki use pasand kar sakti hai, koi bhi usse pyaar kar sakti hai!" She admired his qualities but it's enough for him to bear his admire he shut her mouth through his palm and gesturing her to keep quiet. "Ek shabd aur nahi Bondita! Otherwise me bhul jaunga that you're my wife!" He warned her. She looked him furiously and replied "ummmm ummm" she murmured into his palms but couldn't he understand what she wanted to say. "Aur agar ab se tumne mere samne kisi ki bhi tarif ki to acha nahi hoga bondita! Samjhi tum!" He again threatens her. In this she jerked him over her and replied "what happened to you patibabu? Why are you behaving like a mad men? Why are saying like that?" She bombarded the questions on him.
"Just shut up bondita! Just shut up!" He again put his hand on her mouth that she can talk further to him. "Don't you have manners how to talk to her husbands? Don't you have anyone taught that how to behave with her husband?" He asked while going more close to her. After listen his talks her eyes getting wide.
"Agar nahi hai manners to sun lo bondita Roy Chowdhury kal se tum kahi nahi jaogi! Na hospital, na mandir, na bazar sirf aur sirf Ghar me rahogi aur ek achi Bahu ki tarah ghar sambhalogi aur uske baad apna patnidharm." He told her duty towards home and wife's responsibilities. "Aap sach me chahte hai ki me ye sab Karu?" She asked with moist eyes. He nodded simply and replied "bilkul.......aur agar uske aage pata na ho to gaanv ki auraton se puch lena ki ek achi patni kya karti hai, vo kaise apne pati ko khush rakhti hai, vo kaise apne pati ki seva karti, aur kaise unhe patnisukh deti hai.....aur vo bhi bina kisi sawaal javab ke" he understood her wife's responsibilities and duties.
"Patibabu apko pata bhi hai aap kya bol rahe hai? Kya main ek achi patni nahi hu? Nahi hu kya me ek achi patni jiske liye aap apni bondita ki bakiyo ke saath comparison kar rahe hai! Aap hi kehte the na ki apki bondita anmol hai, uska kisi se koi mukabla nahi! To phir aaj aap usi bondita ko ye sab bata rahe hai jise karna to dur agar koi apko bondita ko ye sab karne liye bhi kehta tha to aap usse dante the samjhate the ki ye sab galat hai! To phir aap aaj ye sab kaise bhul sakte hai? Kaise aap apni bondita ko aam samajh rahe hai?" She asked getting emotional.
He held her shoulder and told "vo isliye kyoki me ab samajh gaya hu ki ek patni ki aur ek Bahu ki asli jagah kaha hoti hai! Isliye me tumhe dobara nahi bataunga ye sab! aur behtar hoga jitni jaldi ho sake tum ye baat apne bheje me gussa, samjhi!" He told in his own way.
"Patibabu apko ho kya gaya hai? Aap aise kyo keh rahe hai! Aap jabse se aaye hai alag hi bartav kiye jaa rahe hai! Me samaaj hi nahi paa rahi hu ki ye konse patibabu hai jinhe me pehchan nahi paa rahi hu?" She asked while crying. Anirudh thought sometime "Oh god! ye me kya kar rahaa hu! Me bondita ke saath aisa nahi kar sakta! Afterall jo bhi hai me.... pyaar karta hu....ye mujhe bhulna nahi chahiye!" He told to himself then replied. "Dekho bondita me nahi chahta tum par gussa karna! Par meri bhi baat samjhne ki koshish karo na agar me keh raha hu ki tum kal se hospital nahi aungi, mtlb nahi auogi! Aur ye me last time bol raha hu, I hope tum ache se samajh gayi hogi!" He made her understand through his words by putting his palm on her cheeks. She just stood confused after hearing his cold talks.
Next morning anirudh gone to the hospital but bondita didn't went because of his warning. Telephone ranged she picked up "hello!" She asked. "Bondita me sohem bol raha hu! Kya tum hospital aa sakti ho! Ek urgent operation hona hai jo tumhare bina nahi ho sakta!" He told. "but sohem I won't come today I have an urgent at home!" She made excuses. "Bondita it's too important for that patient and for us, please come fast" he told then cut the call.
How was the chapter? What all about his (anirudh) behaviour? Why he didn't wanted to go her to hospital? Will she go against his wish? Or will she stay at home obeying him?
