"Arnulf! Stop that!" Keira stretched out her foot to gently nudge the curious sheep away from the bucket full of sharp nails, a small smile playing in the corner of her lips. Her hands were busy holding up a wooden plank while hammering it into place. "It's bad for you, silly."

But the sheep chose to ignore the words of caution and simply dodged under the foot that obstructed him from his goal. The allure of the mysterious bucket was apparently too much for him, and he curiously nipped at the metal edge. When his teeth clinked against it, Arnulf recoiled slightly at the strange sensation before trying it again.

As if that would make it less unpleasant.

Keira just shook her head in amusement and focused back on the task at hand. "And I wonder why your breeder had to rescue you out of a well when you were little..."

With music blasting in her right AirPod, she quickly found a rhythm in which she hammered in the nails. And yes, she only had the right one.

Because the left one had mysteriously disappeared during a trip to Portugal with Natasha a few months prior. Did Keira full-heartedly blame the redhead for the disappearance of her hotel keys and earrings during the same trip? Absolutely.

Just as she hammered in the last nail, an ominous rattle was heard from beside her.

"Hey!" Keira threw herself down on the straw-covered without a second thought, all to save the bucket from toppling over. A low huff escaped her lips as she collided with the ground and her hands managed to cup around the edges of the bucket, preventing any nails from spilling over. Her shoulders slumped in relief and she shook her head, torn between amusement and slight exasperation.

Arnulf, who had jumped back at her fast movement, now happily bounced forwards, acting as if he hadn't been the cause of her rescue attempt. His face radiated pure innocence as he sniffed his owner's face expectantly, hoping it would earn him some treats.

Keira couldn't hold back her laugh at the tickly feeling on her cheek and she pushed herself up into a sitting position before succumbing to Arnulf's charms. "You have no manners, you know that, right, Arnie?"

The sheep pressed himself against her hand, showing her exactly where he wanted to get scratched.

At the sight of Arnulf's happily wagging tail, Keira couldn't stay annoyed with him any longer. Not that she had been particularly annoyed to begin with, even if he made the work ten times more difficult by constantly being in the way, or otherwise distracting her.

Arnulf gave a soft baa and nuzzled his nose against her palm, his eyes slowly closing when she used her other arm to scratch the scruff of his neck.

"Alright, you're pretty cute when you want to, I'll admit it." Keira chuckled lightly and just allowed her shoulder to relax for a moment. If there was something she was bad at, it was to take it slow. With one last scratch behind Arnulf's ear, she got back up on her feet. Before he had a chance to dive into the bucket again, she latched her scarred arm through the handle and swooped it up from his reach, much to the Valais Blacknose sheep's dismay.

Arnulf looked up at her with a slightly tilted head, his inky eyes practically blending in with the dark fur that covered his face. He didn't give up hope though. Another baa left his lips, this one sounding more displeased due to the lack of scratches, and instead opted to nudge Keira's thigh with his forehead.

It was widely known among the animals that Keira always carried treats with her. At least one of her pockets was bound to have something tasty in it, whether or not it was right for the animal who begged for it, however, was a different story.

But Arnulf was in luck.

Keira playfully rolled her eyes as she dug up some treats out of a side pocket before offering her cupped hand to the sheep. Arnulf nearly dived into her palm, very satisfied with his offering. As the sheep took his time to finish eating, she gently stroked him over the head. "Do you promise to leave me alone now so I can work in peace?" She cooed with a soft smile on her lips.

Once Arnulf had practically licked her palm clean, he turned around and trotted back to his herd with his head held high. The rest of the sheep were all grazing around the shelter that Keira was working on, but none was quite as social as Arnulf was.

At the sight of his sassy trot, Keira couldn't help the chuckle that escaped her lips. Oh, what a life to be a happy sheep.

Now when her distraction was out of reach, she could focus back on the task at hand; patching up the wall. Autumn was getting nearer every day and she'd be damned if any of the sheep were forced to freeze because of a stupid hole in the wall when the temperature inevitably dropped.

"Here I am, once again. I'm torn into pieces..." She hummed along with the music playing in her ear, falling back into a steady rhythm of hammering nails. It was a pretty cool summer's evening, but despite that, it didn't take long until a light sheen of sweat once again painted her forehead. Every hit with the hammer sent a small crackle of pain up her right arm, something Keira stubbornly ignored. The pain was something she was growing used to. "Can't deny it, can't pretend. Just thought you were the one-"

A pair of arms encircled her waist from behind and pulled her close to their body, something that interrupted her soft humming.

"You're supposed to take it easy, Ria." Wanda sighed in exasperation, shaking her head slightly before resting her chin on Keira's shoulder, tightening her grip around her wife's midriff.

No matter how many doctors prescribed rest, the mutant just wouldn't stay put. Or rather, she couldn't. Despite the fact that her right arm was covered in burns, all the way from her hand and up to her shoulder, she was just unable to stay still.

By now, however, the burns were fully healed and blended in with the old scars that already covered her shoulder blade.

A permanent reminder of Thanos and what cost the universe had been forced to pay.

Had it not been for her enhanced healing, and Wanda's inability to accept death, Keira would not be standing here today.

But thanks to an insane amount of luck, and a lot of physical therapy, the mutant barely suffered any side effects. Sure, some spots, like the side of her hand and the back of her upper arm lacked all sense of feeling, good or bad, but it felt like a small price to pay considering she nearly had full mobility.

And whatever pain she suffered when she overworked herself was more than a fair compromise, which with some more time, would hopefully also subside.

But what Keira would grieve most was the fact that the tattoos that had adorned the entirety of her right arm were now beyond any recognition, or saving for that matter. After all the time and money she had spent on them, it was a small comfort that the rest of her tattoos looked unhurt in comparison.

Although, even with the twisted skin and all the scars, Wanda still loved Keira more than anything in the world. Even if she could grow tired of the mutant's stubbornness sometimes.

And in moments like these, she really wished that her wife could just take a rest every now and then.

But it would take a miracle to cause Keira to just slump back in the garden swing with Nikato's head in her lap while Wanda tended to the apple trees or some other chore on the farm. The mutant had never been the type who let other people do her work for her, and that hadn't changed, even after her three months of sleep.

Or, well, coma if you want to be specific.

Those three months were a messy blur, and Keira had yet to find the strength to try and unknot the confusing net of dreams, or visions, she had witnessed. But getting a new chance at life, however, had given her a new perspective on things.

She was tired of fighting. So, so very tired.

Violence and death had walked alongside her for so many years that they practically felt like sisters. But it wasn't the family she would've picked if she had been given a choice. No, she had been thrown into a life where blood and suffering was normal.

To always fight, no matter what.

But now, when she had been granted a second chance, she picked another path than the one that had been chosen for her, all those years ago.

And the calm life suited her surprisingly well. It was all she could ever wish for.

When Keira remained silent, clearly stuck with her head in the clouds, Wanda pressed a kiss to the side of her neck. "Hey, earth to Ria." She whispered lovingly, continuing to trail featherlight kisses along the mutant's neck and up to her jaw.

It took a moment for the world to come back into focus, but once it did, the feeling of Wanda's lips on her skin welcomed Keira back with open arms.

Keira tilted her head to the side with a soft smile on her lips, all to give Wanda better access to her neck. "I know, I know." She sighed, allowing herself to just revel in the moment. Wanda's flowery perfume wrapped around her like a warm blanket, and for a moment, she allowed her eyes to close to just enjoy the feeling of it all.

She blindly put her hands over Wanda's, her smile stretching wider when her fingers felt the cool metal of her engagement ring. By now, it had been joined by a wedding ring, and the two rings complemented each other perfectly.

"Please don't be mad at me?" Keira opened her eyes and spun around in her wife's arms, the corners of her lips twitching as she tried her best puppy expression. Her fingers gently danced over the necklace hanging around Wanda's neck before tenderly tucking a few strands of hair behind her ear. She loved the fact the way the red mixed with the auburn, having missed her wife's natural hair color for years.

With Keira's arms around her neck, and that adorable pout painting her lips, it was nearly impossible for Wanda to not melt right then and there. "Oh, how could I ever remain angry at that face?" A low chuckle left her lips and she raised a hand to the mutant's face, seductively tracing a finger along her jaw. Her eyes kept jumping to Keira's lips, something the latter definitely noticed.

"You simply can't."

Keira's lips merely ghosted over Wanda's, their hot breaths mixing in the cramped space between their faces. Both emerald green and storm-grey had turned a darker shade, their pupils dilated as they both tried to make the other one fold first.

Wanda pulled her wife closer by the waist, allowing one of her hands to wander up Keira's body to finally tangle in the blonde locks.

With her heart beating so wildly in her chest that it felt like it would almost break out of her ribcage, Keira was surprised she hadn't suffered a heart attack yet. But every touch from Wanda was like the most spectacular high any drug could ever offer. And Keira would happily die by Wanda's hand any day of the week.

The air around them was practically alight, heat licking their bodies.

And Wanda was the first to surrender.

Without an ounce of modesty left, she crashed their lips together in a searing kiss. Wanda practically melted into her wife's touch and with the hand still cupping the mutant's cheek, she slid down to the back of Keira's neck to pull her impossibly closer, deepening the kiss by doing so.

A surprised but satisfied hum vibrated in the back of Keira's throat as she answered the kiss with just as much hunger. It took all she had to not get lost in the wonderful sensation, and had it not been for the loud bark in the distance, their houseguests probably would've missed them for at least two more hours.

Somehow, Keira managed to pull herself away from Wanda's addictive lips, but her arms remained laced around her wife's body. "You're gonna be the death of me someday, my love." She breathed with a soft smile on her lips.

The bouncing dot in the distance slowly grew bigger and bigger, and soon enough, it split into two.

"And you'll be mine." Wanda whispered, tenderly pressing their lips together again. This kiss held none of the fiery passion the last one had, but merely conveyed the deep love they had for each other.

Keira reluctantly pulled away again, only to be completely stunned by the look of adoration that glittered in Wanda's emerald eyes. It still surprised her every day that she was lucky enough to be so deeply loved by this woman. She opened her mouth to reply, only to find that words simply weren't enough.

Their attention was drawn away from each other as two dogs rounded the corner of the shelter they were in.

"Hiya, Kato." Keira said softly, still feeling as if she was walking on clouds. She slipped out of her wife's grasp as she crouched down to greet him properly. The Kangal's panting subsided for just a moment as he pressed his nose against her cheek, and just as she raised a hand to pet him, another dog slid underneath her arm. "Your manners are just as poor as your owners, Fanny." She scolded gently, smiling slightly as she shook her head in amusement.

The American Akita just wagged her tail innocently and pressed her head against Keira's chest, nearly knocking her off balance by doing so.

Meanwhile, Kato demanded attention from Wanda instead, who obediently bent down to scratch him behind the ear. He was clearly satisfied with her services, as he closed his eyes and leaned his big head into the touch. "You're a good boy, Kato." She cooed softly before straightening up. "Think Natasha has burnt down the house yet?"

"Haven't seen any smoke yet, so I think we're in the clear." Keira chuckled, temporarily seizing her patting, which earned her a hard paw to the arm. "Ow! Fanny, you really do need a lesson in etiquette."

But of course, she was unable to refuse the Akita's demands, so she started petting her again. Throwing a glance at Wanda, she continued. "But you do have a point. Maybe we should get back, or we will be returning to a warzone."

Wanda held out a hand, and Keira pulled herself back up on her feet, much to Fanny's disappointment.

Before even taking a step, an idea popped into Keira's head. With a small smirk playing on her lips, she bowed down deep with her hands thrown out to the sides. "Would my good lady grant me, a simple knight, with her gracious presence for a short walk?" She held out a hand but remained bowed until she knew whether or not her wife would play along with her little charade.

Wanda shook her head in amusement and playfully rolled her eyes at the mutant's antics. "I shall grant you this pleasure, my knight." She said in a regal voice and placed her hand in Keira's, who immediately straightened up. It was little things like these that only deepened her love for the blonde. While it might seem cringey to some, it was something that caused her to smile every time.

Keira never failed to make her laugh. And it was a privilege to still be able to enjoy it.

Hand in hand, the two of them started to walk back to the house. The dogs ran in front of them as a few flower petals sailed down from the apple trees. It was rather late in the season but despite that, some trees hadn't gotten the memo and were still sporting pale pink flowers rather than apples. It was something Keira had grown to love.

The smell of apple blossoms in the spring was simply unbeatable.

Yes, it was a lot of work to keep after the trees, but it was all worth it. Another pro with their home was that the nearest neighbor was miles away. So the sheep could roam freely without the need for fences since Kato took his duty as guard dog very seriously.

If one of them wandered astray, he herded them back.

In short, the Kangal was living his best life. Either he guarded the sheep, or he rested on the sundeck, peacefully watching Keira paint for hours.

Keira had always enjoyed painting, and after coming back to life, a new spark for it had ignited. While working on the farm and catching up on TV shows with Wanda occupied her for a lot of hours, she still had a bit of free time since she was technically unemployed now.

And so, to occupy herself, the paintbrush found itself in her hand.

It had just been her way of keeping busy, which meant that the canvases kept piling up. And after Sam had accidentally stumbled upon them, he had voiced the idea of trying to sell them. Keira had laughed in his face at the idea, highly doubting that anyone would be willing to pay for a crappy painting from an ex-Avenger. But Sam had insisted on it, claiming that they were quite good, and when Steve had been ready to agree with him, she had surrendered and given it a go.

To her great surprise, her paintings turned out to be quite popular. And since money wasn't a motivator, considering that both her and Wanda's pockets still ran pretty deep after their work with the Avengers, she could sell them at a reasonable price. It felt nice to make her art available to all, and not just to the ones who had pockets as deep as hers.

Commissions were her favorite thing to make, as they felt more personal, more meaningful.

Wanda on the other hand, was just grateful.

Grateful for a chance at the life they always dreamt of.

For a long time, it seemed like their future would remain just that. A dream. Nothing more than a simple fantasy.

But sometimes, dreams do come true. And now, it was their life.

Wanda fully supported and understood Keira's choice not to return to the world of heroes, villains, and everything in between. She, on the other hand, had been uncertain about what she wanted to do. The one thing she did know, was that she didn't want to fight any longer either.

But luckily, fate seemed to have another plan in the works for her.

During a cold afternoon in December, when she had still been glued to Keira's bedside in the hospital, she had received a call. Since her brain was occupied with worry for her unconscious wife, she hadn't picked up.

But the caller was persistent, so in the end, Wanda picked up, moderately annoyed. It turned out that on the other side of the line, was none other than a certain Scott Summers.

He wanted to offer her a job, but considering the circumstances, she had outright refused.

Something that Scott understood, but before ending the call, he made sure to point out that the position would still be open to her in the future.

Once Keira finally awoke, she was the one who convinced Wanda to take the offer, or at least visit the place. Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters was an institute they both had heard of in passing during the years, and had they not suffered at HYDRA's hands, at least one of them probably would've ended up at the school.

And after a lot of convincing on Keira's part, Wanda had finally, reluctantly, agreed to leave her for an afternoon. Only after ensuring that Natasha would watch over the mutant for the time being.

To Wanda's own surprise, it barely took five minutes before she was hooked.

It was amazing to be able to offer help and guidance to young mutants, something she herself had been deprived of in her younger years. If she didn't count the brief period of time she had Keira as a teacher, that was. But she also found that some of the blonde's old teaching techniques were still up to date, even in the absence of a gloomy, old fortress.

To see the youngsters' powers evolve into something greater was simply a fantastic thing to witness.

Wanda quickly became a beloved teacher by the students, and once or twice, she even got Keira to join her at the school. Let's just say that having not one, but two ex-Avengers in the classroom made most of the students a bit starstruck, who didn't waste a second to show off their powers.

Some performed amazingly while others... Well, let's just say that their nerves got the better of them.

Keira shot a glance at her wife and couldn't help but notice the slight far-off look in those emerald eyes. With a soft smile on her lips, she raised Wanda's hand to her lips and pressed a kiss to the back of it. "Who's up in the clouds now, huh?"

Wanda blinked a couple of times and the front porch of their house came into focus. It was nearly a perfect copy of the blueprint that had resided within the envelope she had opened back when their future together still had been in jeopardy. But after she had offered her input on the design as well, and the details had been settled, the house was ready for construction since Keira had already bought the land for them.

The house had only been standing fully completed for about a year or so, but it had been well worth the wait. Both Keira and Wanda absolutely loved it.

Large windows that stretched from floor to ceiling on the second floor gave a beautiful panoramic view that overlooked the apple orchards and the winding river that weaved alongside it. Dark walnut wood mixed beautifully with steel grey basalt stone sections, creating an equally modern and cozy look. And of course, a garage where both their cars, plus Keira's new motorcycle, were housed.

In short, their own little piece of paradise.

Nikato and Fanny happily hopped up the stairs leading to the door but they didn't wait for the two women to catch up with them, but instead turned the corner of the house to rest on the big sundeck in the back instead.

"You don't get to judge me." Wanda pouted slightly, nudging Keira on the shoulder. But her pout melted away when her wife held the door open for her, gesturing for her to get in. "My, my. Such a gentlewoman." She chuckled before kicking off her shoes in the hall.

Keira did a little bow before shutting the door, trying to conceal the smirk playing on her lips. "Only for you, my love." She cooed innocently while fluttering her eyelashes, something that only earned her a hand in the face, Wanda turning her head away from her with an eye roll. Keira didn't protest but merely kissed Wanda's palm before kicking off her shoes.

Her ears failed to pick up any sounds that would implicate trouble, the only thing she could hear was the radio playing in the kitchen, but it didn't exactly bring her peace of mind.

With Natasha and Yelena, it was almost like having two toddlers in the house. Silence usually meant trouble.

A flock of red could be spotted on the sofa in the living room and none of them doubted who it was. Natasha, of course. With one knee to her chest and the other leg lazily swaying over the fuzzy carpet, her eyes were glued to the book she was reading. It was hard to tell if the redhead was even aware of her surroundings or if the book had devoured all of her attention.

Keira's feet automatically carried her over to the sofa and she slumped down on the wide armrest. "Whatcha readin'?" When she didn't receive an answer but merely an unimpressed look, she pursed her lips in annoyance and snatched the book out of Natasha's grasp. Keeping a finger as a bookmark, she turned it over to read the front cover.

"Hey! I was reading that!"

Solely ignoring Natasha's complaint, Keira's lips stretched into a satisfactory smile. "Wolf Brother, huh? Only took you like a decade or so."

Natasha pushed herself up from the comfortable position she had been in and snatched the book back, using the dust jacket to mark the page she was on. With a slight shrug of her shoulders, she put down the book on the living room table. "Yeah, well, Maria recommended it. And since her taste is better than yours, I decided to give it a go." She had to fight hard to contain the smirk that wanted to break out on her lips at the sight of the offended look on Keira's face.

The blonde got up from the armrest and pointed a warning finger at her best friend. "You're lucky I like you, or I would've been seriously offended by that. But give my thanks to Maria." She grumbled before straightening her back, which protested with a loud crack. "Now, where's your menace of a sister?"

"The kitchen, I think." Natasha answered, shifting her seat as Wanda slumped down beside her. Turning her eyes to the brunette, she smiled softly. "Where'd you find her this time?"

A small sigh escaped Wanda's lips and she rested her head in her hand, her elbow on the top of the sofa. "Where do you think? The sheep shelter, of course. Where else? I swear, she's impossible sometimes...."

Keira, who already had left the two women behind, didn't hear the rest of the conversation despite the open layout between the kitchen and living room. That didn't mean everything was fully visible from the sofa though, but as soon as she rounded the corner, her eyes immediately landed on Yelena. "Oy! Hands off my cereal, Belova!"

Yelena, who was perched on the kitchen island with her legs slowly swinging in the air, just quirked an unimpressed eyebrow. "You owe me, Nowak. So, by law, this cereal is mine."

"Wha- How?" Keira's mouth fell open in both indignation and surprise. When she attempted to steal the box of cereal back, she was met by a hand on her forehead that held her at arm's length. It was a silly stance, but none of them moved to break it.

"I fixed your hair at the wedding."

The mutant had to refrain from rolling her eyes and merely put her weight against Yelena's hand, like a stubborn 5-year-old. "You and Tasha flipped a freakin' coin on my wedding day! We're square!"

"Hey! I'm innocent! Leave me out of it!" Natasha exclaimed indignantly over her shoulder, having interrupted her and Wanda's talk when she heard her name being mentioned.

"You're just as guilty as your sister, so hush!" Keira countered, ducking under Yelena's hand to try and snatch the cereal box back. Why it was so important? Well, it really wasn't. But this was the way her and Yelena's friendship had been from the moment they met. A constant wave of sarcastic remarks and different ways to be an annoyance to the other person.

But the blondes cared very deeply about each other, underneath their rugged surfaces. Otherwise, Yelena wouldn't have been the one to stand by Keira's side on her wedding day.

Wanda, who had been unable to block out Yelena and Keira's conversation, shook her head in amusement. "Sometimes I wonder if it's not the two of you that are married." She could only smile at the blondes' childish interaction since it was always entertaining to witness it. If there wasn't at least one insult in there, something was terribly wrong.

"Pfft, yeah, in her dreams." Keira quipped and dodged a kick that otherwise would've hit her in the ribs.

A visible shiver made its way down Yelena's spine and she violently shook her head. "Yeah, in my nightmares." The mere thought of marriage painted a rather disgusted look on her face, and for a moment, it seemed like it also drained her will to fight for the cereal box. "Please, never say that again, Wanda. It would truly be a nightmare come true."

With no resistance to stop her, Keira was victorious in her retrieval. But as the words left Yelena's lips, she couldn't help but be a little dramatic, like always. "Awh, now, don't say such things, Yellie. You're gonna break my heart with those cruel words." She jutted out her bottom lip in a pout and to top it off, she slowly sank to her knees, the cereal box clutched to her chest. "So, so very cruel." She sighed, slowly shaking her head.

"I've told you to never call me that again." Yelena scowled dangerously as she hopped off the kitchen island. "I allowed it once. And that was at your wedding." She crossed the short distance between her and the kneeling mutant, still with a dark expression on her face. Before Keira had a chance to react, she snatched back the cereal box and quickly sprinted out through the open patio door in just her socks.

Natasha only shook her head at their antics and returned to her book when Wanda left her side.

Keira just blinked in disbelief for a moment, her empty hands falling to her thighs. She pondered whether it was worth chasing after Yelena again, but decided against it. And as the sound of light steps behind her reached her ears, she glanced over her shoulder at her wife. "Am I really that horrible?"

A soft smile painted Wanda's lips as she bowed down and cupped the mutant's cheeks. "Yes, but it doesn't make me love you any less." She joined their lips in a swift kiss before tucking a few blonde strands behind her wife's ear. "Now, you plan on growing roots or...?"

"Auch." Keira chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes before grabbing Wanda's outstretched hand to pull herself back up to her feet. She didn't release her hand but rather used it to pull her wife closer so she could put her arms around her. "How lucky I am to have you who can love me despite my horrendous personality." It was nothing more than a whisper, but the smile that she hid in the crook of Wanda's neck could clearly be heard in her voice.

Wanda automatically laced her arms around the Keira's neck and began playing with the blonde baby hair, leaning her head against hers while humming softly. "Don't be fooled, you make it difficult sometimes, sweetheart." As she spoke the words, she made sure to tighten her hold on her wife.

Slowly allowing her eyes to close, Keira smiled to herself.

How could she possibly ask for anything more than this? To be standing in the kitchen with her wife's arms around her was all she ever wanted. It was simply perfect.

Wanda's soft humming was like music played by angels to her, and Keira simply buried her face deeper against her neck. "I'm so grateful for you." The flowery perfume she adored embraced her like a warm blanket, and she knew she could've stayed like this forever. To her great surprise, her wife's humming stopped abruptly and the embrace she had found herself in was broken. Horrified that she had said something wrong, she desperately searched Wanda's face for any sign that could've caused the sudden stop.

But all that could be seen in the emerald eyes was pure adoration.

"Ria." Wanda slowly shook her head and took the mutant's face in her hands. "You're the only reason why my world keeps spinning. Out of the two of us, I'm the lucky one. You're my greatest love, and forever will be. Without you, there is no me." She whispered tenderly and rested her forehead against Keira's, her gaze long lost in those storm-grey eyes that she loved.

Keira's worried expression faded away with every word, and soon enough, the same adoration shone in her eyes as well. "And you are everything I could ever hope for. More than so. My hope, my peace, and most of all, my love." To seal her words, she joined their lips in a loving kiss, lacing her arms around her wife's neck.

The sensation ignited her very soul from within and her heart felt like it could break out of her ribcage without even trying. And if she died in Wanda's arms like this, Keira would count herself the luckiest woman in the world.

They reluctantly broke apart, but with their foreheads still touching as they pulled each other impossibly closer.

"Every day I fall deeper and deeper in love with you. And that I shall do, until forever falls apart." Keira whispered, a bit out of breath as her fingers danced across her wife's cheek and neck.

The smile that stretched Wanda's lips almost hurt from how wide it was, but the love that filled her heart made the pain feel like nothing more than a warm summer breeze. "Just like we promised." Her eyes fluttered close on their own accord and she simply breathed in the moment. "Until forever falls apart." She breathed, her wife's soft cinnamon scent tickling her nose.

Keira felt no need to say anything more, for what more was there to say? Words would simply never be enough to convey the love she felt for Wanda.

And now, they had all the time in the world.

A/N: And it all comes to an end...

Wow, to believe that I started this story over a year ago, on October 15th and now it's actually finished on the 19th. To write it has presented many challenges(looking at you, writer's block and poor time management), but oh my, has it been fun.

To bring Keira to life has been my greatest honor, and she will forever hold a special place in my heart.

And I just want to say thank you to every single one of you.

For loving the story, and for loving Keira and everyone around her just as much as I do. To read your comments and feel your support on the chapters always puts a smile on my face. You have no idea how much joy that brings me :)

On another note, I think we all know that in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Wanda doesn't quite get the happy ending she deserves. So, for those of you who prefer the less happy ending to things, Imperfect Crystals is out now if you wish to follow Keira and Wanda's life in Westview.

Thank you all so, so much! <3
