Y/ns pov
We got of the train about ten minutes ago and were now walking around the beautiful streets of paris, we were going to the Eiffel Tower first then to Pont Bir-Hakeim out of the planned places, but currently we were walking in the direction of the bridge princess diana had died beneath. Where we would have a moment of silence, and by we I mean robert ( the irish loved diana ) ritu tom and I, the Americans of the group had no reason to do so , neither did david .
" hi " aidan walked next to me while the others talked about how nice it was here
" hi" I smiled with a slight blush on my cheeks
" its beautiful here, isnt it" he looked around at the scenery "makes me wanna watch ratatouille actually "
I laughed lightly " your such a weirdo"
We locked pinkies as we walked
" yeah" he chuckled, then we both went silent " actually, y/n, I have a question " he bit his bottom lip anxiously
" ask away " I replied
" so I was wondering if--"
He was suddenly cut of by ritu wrapping her arms around both our shoulders
" hate to steal her from you" she looked to aidan " but, moment of silence"
I looked at where we were, shit, it really was time for a moment of silence
All three of us brits and Robert walked to the edge of the bridge silently while the others looked at us with confusion, they new what we were doing , they just didn't understand why
" alright " said tom after a while "our moment is over, return to your conversations "
I chuckled and walked back over to aidan " so, you where saying?"
" i-i forgot the question " he nodded with a sheepish smile and blushing cheeks
" it'll come back to you" I replied
We all continued our walk , there were many expensive shops. Like Gucci , Louis Vuitton and others which we all decided not to go into.
" I've been to Paris so many times and still it never ceases to amaze me " I sighed happily
" why does she sound more matured then the rest of us when she talks ?" Robert laughed
" its because I am more mature than you" I replied with a spiteful smile
" damn, I knew they cast five wrong. You should've played him" david joked
" hey!" Aidan exclaimed
I rolled my eyes fondly and continued walking
" stop your bickering " sighed ritu " we are almost at the tower"
Aidans pov

I looked up, it was so close. Anxiety build up inside of me, I had changed my mind about asking y/n out at random, the top of the Eiffel Tower felt way more romantic. If she said no our entire friendship would go down hill, no more cuddling, no more holding hands. We would be fucked, and I'm not ready for that, so it's a shock im even trying.
" you ok?" Elliot asked me
" uhm yeah" I looked around, we were behind the group " uhm, I'm really nervous, actually "
" why?" He asked gently
" well, uhm, I'm gonna ask y/n out at the top of the Eiffel Tower. And I'm worried shes gonna say no " I admitted
" dude" he chuckled " shes gonna say yes, dont worry about it "
He patted my back and soon enough we were there , we entered the cue of people, it was long . But it'd be worth it in the long run.
Y/n was buzzing with excitement, despite living in France for so long she had never actually been on the Eiffel tower
The cue was actually going by quite fast to the point where we were on the stairs going up after about fifteen minutes
" I can't wait" y/n exclaimed adorably " this is gonna be so cool"
" yeah , its gonna be great" ritu agreed
The further up the stairs we walked the more my nerves flared I was so close to forgetting even considering asking her out. But then I remembered, I'd be miserable if I didn't try.
Y/ns pov
After a while we made it to the top, the view was absolutely stunning. I couldn't help but post afew pictures to Instagram and a video to tiktok.
" it's nice up here, isnt it?" Said Aidan as he walked up next to me
" yeah, its beautiful " I sighed happily " if I get proposed to , I want it to happen right up here" I turned to face him
" well actually " he looked down with a blush " about that, I have a question for you."
" and that is?"
" well, it's not a ring " he started "and its certainly not a proposal but ...." he handed me a little fabric bag , I furrowed my eyebrows and opened it . It had a small key inside as well as a padlock with mine and his initials on it with a plus sign between them and a heart around them "y/n, I've been wanting to ask you this for a long time now...so, will you be my girlfriend?"
I felt like passing out, was this a dream? " y-youre serious?" I asked
" cross my heart " he smiled
I stood in shock as a large smile formed across my cheeks as well a bright pink blush " yes! 1000 times yes!"
" wait really?"
" yes, really " I giggled
He pulled my in by my waist and kissed me passionately , I kissed back instantly
" you have no idea how long I've wanted to do that for " he said breathlessly, I kissed him once more then hugged him
" I know I've wanted to do that since the first day we met " I replied " I'm happy it wasnt acting this time"
" me too"
We shared another kiss then an eruption on cheers came from next to us, we looked over and the entire cast where there, recording the whole goddamn thing . I blushed and buried my face in the crook of aidans neck, he chuckled
" guys stop " he said with a laugh
" alright, privacy is yours" said emmy " but we are sending you the videos so you can cherish this forever"
" thanks "
I pulled out of the hug " god they're a nightmare "
" I know right " he laughed
" I can't wait to put this on Pont Bir-Hakeim" I looked at the padlock and lock in my hand
" god you're French is so gorgeous"
I blushed red " thanks " I put the contents of the bag back inside and put it back in aidans pocket "I'll drop it, so its probably best you take care of it "
" ok" he smiled
" I'm taking so many pictures with you from this point on" I chuckled " there will be no room left in my gallery for non couple things "
" you're adorable " he kissed me again, I felt euphoria wash over me
" is it ok if the public know?" I asked
" Sure, you can post a pic on Instagram right now" he shrugged
I smiled and took afew coupley photos, we decided on one where we were sitting down with the view behind us and posted it

I smiled at the fans reactions, this was all I ever wanted and more. But I was anxious about what would happen once this relationship was long distance, which it inevitably would be.
" hey, are you ok?" Aidan asked
I didn't answer, I just hugged him tightly
" wow, what's wrong ?"
" I'm gonna miss you so much" I replied
" hey hey hey, do not worry about this being long distance . I'll give you one of my jumpers, we can call on your laptop every night and if you ever miss me when I'm not available. bam, pillow fort is right there. So dont worry ,ok?" He rubbed circles in my back
" ok" I sniffed " thanks"
" now " he pulled out of the hug and held my hand " the others wanna go, you coming ?"
" of course"
