"Ohhh Yeah I don't think you have met them yet have you" Daichi said looking at me and I just nod my head biting my tongue so I don't say something I shouldn't.
"Introduce yourselves" Daichi said looking at them.
"Okay okay, don't rush me" a black haired rooster said putting his hands up "I'm Kuroo Tetsuro, he's Kenma Kozume" the bed head rooster said pointing to the guy with pudding like hair that is sitting on the ground playing on a switch.
"I'm Bokuto Koutarou" the black and white haired guy said on the verge of yelling
"I'm sorry about him, I'm Akaashi Keiji" a cute black haired guy said and bowed
"Ah it's okay" I said waving him off "oh I'm Miya Amaya" I said after Kiyoko nudged my arm with her elbow
"Nice to meet you Miya-San" Akaashi said very politely
"Oh you can just call me by my first name" I say waving my hands at what Akaashi said
"Are you sure" he asked me
"Hahahaha yes it fine" I said laughing
"So Amaya why are you wearing a mask" Kuroo asked me trying to place his arm on my shoulder
"Because I am sick" I said turning my head towards his face and I leaned closer to him and I started aggressively coughing in his face, making him back up
"Are you actually" he asked sounding concerned
"Amaya" Daichi said sternly sounding like a dad
"Yes" I said turning my head to face him
"That's enough" he said sternly again
"Are you trying to be my dad or something" I asked him being sarcastic which left him stunned.
"Amaya I'm no-" Daichi started
"Don't worry I was just joking" I said to him
"Okay" he said sounding relieved
"So are you actually wearing that mask because your sick" Bokuto asked me
"Huh, no it's a personal preference" I said looking at him
"So you wear it just to wear it?" He asked again
"Yeah pretty much" I said closing my eyes and nodding my head "I'm tired so I'm going to go to bed" I said turning towards the door and walking out.
As I make my way down the hall and to the managers room I am encased in silence, well externally. For some reason I haven't been able to slow my thoughts down at all. I guess I didn't notice them very much in a loud room but now, I'm by myself. No noise to keep them at bay.
I need to some how clear my mind, I need to do something anything. Maybe I should just sleep, maybe that will help some.
When I got to the room I changed my clothes turned off the lights and laid on the futon that I picked earlier today. But as I expected I couldn't fall asleep, my thoughts just won't listen to me. I keep my eyes closed hoping I will fall asleep.
"-AYA" is all I caught as I slowly open my eyes I think they're saying my name
"Amaya oh my god" someone else said as I try to keep my eyes open, but they're very heavy and I am very tired.
"Amaya are you okay" someone asked me I slowly lift my head up just a bit and I look up so I can see who it is. But it's all fuzzy, I can't make out her face. I'm pretty sure I put my contacts in earlier too, so why can't I see her face.
"Amaya are you alright" I was asked again as that person got closer
"And it seems like Amaya is up" the announcer said but I tuned out the rest not caring what he says.
I slowly move my hands to in-front of me and I slowly push myself up. So I was now sitting up, that's when my head began to hurt more than it has ever hurt. I move my left hand from the ground to the side of my head where most of the pain was coming from.
After touching my head I move my hand away from it and bring it down, but I caught a glimpse of something red on my hand. So I look at it again just to make sure I saw it right and I did. I'm bleeding, my heads bleeding I bring my hand up again and touch that spot again but with a different part my hand this time. And sure enough my glove has more blood on it now.
"Amaya lay back down don't get up" my coach said kneeling in front of me, and putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Its not good is it" I said, I knew it wasn't good from seeing the blood but I need to know for sure.
"You passed out" the person behind me said "for about a minute, we already called for an ambulance they should be here shortly" they said again I turn to see the bright yellow jersey signifying it's a ref.
"I'm out right" I said and my coach hugs me and I start crying into his shirt
"I'm sorry kid, you did your absolute best you could" he said trying to comfort me "we're calling your mom to let her know what's happening so don't worry" he said
"Amaya all you have to do right now is stay awake do you think you can do that for me" my coach asked, as he was speaking his words started to fade out and when he finished I was unable to keep my eyes open any longer.
I slowly open my eyes, but they close faster than I was able to open them. I keep trying to open them until my eyes adjust to the bright room I am now in. Which I'm guessing is a hospital room. When I am fully able to keep my eyes open my thoughts were right.
I look around the room hoping to see my mom, wanting to see my mom. I see her I see my mom in the corner of the room reading a book she actually came. Maybe she does care about me and this is how she shows it. Though I was proved wrong very quickly when she didn't even look up to see how I am doing. She only looked up when there was a knock on the door, and it was the doctor.
"Ma'am I thought I told you to keep the lights off, your daughter has a concussion" the doctor says to my mom
"Well I'm trying to read my book and I don't want to sit in the dark, with a useless disappointing child like her" she said.
"Ma'am your daughter is in the room please watch what you say" he says and the doctor looked over at me and the look in his eyes change to a sadness or maybe pity but it was gone just as fast as it appeared. I gave him a slight smile and then looked away.
"So Amaya how are you feeling now" I looked to the side and I see that I'm hooked up to an IV and then I look back to him
"Better" I said
I was soon released from the hospital after the doctor checked me out again.
"Mom, when did you decide that I was useless and a disappointment" I asked "it was before dad died right" I asked again keeping my head straight looking at her reaction through my peripheral. She looked shocked like she didn't think I heard her say that or she didn't think I would say it.
"Amaya I didn't mean that, I love you just as much as I love your brothers" she said
"Did you know you only really talk to me when I get hurt" I said looking at her "it probably would have been better for you if I didn't wake up right, that's probably what you were hoping for" I said again
"AMAYA" she yelled making me jump a little bit "why would you say that"
"Because it's true" I look over at her "you don't care about me and you never have" I said looking at her still about to cry this time
"AMAYA, YOU KNOW WHAT YOUR RIGHT, I HATE YOU" she yelled "I hate you so much that I just wanted you to not wake up, if you were in a coma it would have been so much better" she said but using the same tone she did while she yelled
"Why what did I ever do to make you hate me so much" I said no longer looking at her I couldn't stop the tears they just kept coming
"There was no particular reason" she said "Amaya stop crying it's annoying" she said again so I tried my best to stop them. I knew she hated when I cried it's not the first time she's said this to me, but it's the first in a long time.
I shoot up and I look around and I see everyone is now here and they are all asleep. So I did manage to fall asleep, but I had to dream of that. Why did it have to be that.
I grab my phone and I begin to look at the time. It's 4am I might as well get up I'm not going to be able to fall asleep again. So I get up and get dressed I decide to put on some athletic wear and I grab my headset and my sneakers and I leave the building I begin to run.
