We walked out of class with me and Beck hand in hand, while Jade was holding my other hand, Tori was behind us groaning and moaning about the bird scene.
"Oh, come on how am i supposed to do this scene right, if no one will tell me what i did wrong, I thought you guys were my friends" Tori said making everyone turn around looking at her.
"we aren't your friend" Jade said grabbing my hand again pulling me towards the vending machine, also dragging Beck since he didn't let go, and neither did i.
" I was hoping we could be more than friends" I overheard Rex say to Tori.
"Uh it's so gross he's always hitting on girls" I heard Cat say as me and Beck walked back over while Jade was waiting for her drink.
"I never hit on you" Rex said looking at cat then turning to look at me "but your sisters that's a different story" he said making me throw my drink on him "Its okay, i know you want me" he yelled as Robbie to him to the bathroom.
"you guys, my problem"
"'Not everything is about you girl" I said stealing Becks drink
"number one rule of the bird scene, no ones allowed to help you".
"So this is what you did with your locker" Jade asked looking at the whiteboard on Tori's locker, I snorted covering it with a cough.
"Yeah, see its dry erase with a bunch of colorful pens in a convenient cup, so whoever wants to can draw or white what they want" She said looking at me, Beck and Jade, then to Cat, Andre, Robbie and Rex who came back from the bathroom.
"but you're supposed to decorate it yourself"
"Its a Hollywood arts tradition"
"Well what's wrong with letting other people be expressive on my locker" Tori said as Jade handed me a marker after she wrong dumb and i wrote stupid.
"Well for one thing they can do that" Robbie said pointing at what me and Jade wrote now saying 'Tori's dumb stupid locker'
"yeah well my lockers smarter than your guy's locker" Tori yelled as me and Jade already left when Beck came jogging up to us.
"So you ready?" Beck said walking into class with ms and Jade behind him.
"Oh, I'm way past ready, Sikowitz wants 'the bird scene' I'm gonna give him 'the bird scene', I got props, i got a backdrop and just to kiss up a little, i even got Sikowitz two large coconuts" she said grabbing two coconuts out of her bag.
"Those are good ones, you know he says the milk gives him visions" I said as Beck pulled me in front of him cause i could barely see from behind him.
"All right rehar-" he said walking into the class then ducking around weirdly "we have much to do today but first Tori 'the bird scene'"
"I'm ready and before i begin, id like you to have these two large coconuts" she said going and giving him the coconut's.
"Wonderful, you know, their milk gives me visions"
"I've heard"
"very good, everyone pay attention" he said taking the coconuts and sitting in the back.
"tori go ahead"
"one sec" she said going onto the stage and pulling down a backdrop making me look at Jade with my eyebrows raised.
"And i am ready" she said putting glass on
"Awesome action" Sikowitz said drinking a coconut.
"It was 1934 when my husband left me. Alone, living on the prairie was a dearie existence. No telephone, no radio" She walked over to the pencil sharpener rolling it when a bird on a string came down.
" -only a large, majestic bird, with whom i shared my feelings' with. one day when i was feeling low i said to him 'oh bird you can fly you can soar miles from this lonely place, yet you stay why'. And apparently my question rang true, for that afternoon the bird left and so went my spirit" she spoke throwing the fake bird out of the window making me gasp.
Tori looked around smiling "so what that good" she said making me groan and slid on the floor knowing she's gonna have to do it again.
"Exaxlty what are you asking me" Sikowitz said looking at her.
"You know, did you like what i did with the scene?"
"Sure"
"So did i get it right"
"No, you failed again"
"What, why i did everything--" she was cut off by the the garden keeper holding the bird he looked into the window
"hey, watch were you throw your props" he said, then threw it at Tori making me burst out laughing.
I walked down the stairs seeing cat handcuffed to the railing, I walked over looking at her "what you doing kitty"
"Tori (drinks water) locked me (drinks water) here".
I walked over seeing Tori and Beck "what the hell tori" she turned around looking at me
"what's wrong" Beck looked at me but i ignored him
"you locked cat to the stairs and gave her hot candy, i don't know where you came from but her that'll get your ass kicked so do it again and see what happens, anyways got to go" I said smiling and walking off.
The ballet teacher asked me to do a class so i agreed, I changed walking into the class "hi sorry I'm late someone handcuffed my-"
"girl" someone yelled as everyone ran over to me as i screamed.
"All right, class who would like to show me their routine we were working on last time"
"we would" Andre said making me clap as they got into position.
They started the first position, they were actually doing good until they kneed each other in that area making all the boys groan, and me suck in my teeth trying not to laugh.
Andre, Robbie, and I were walking into class, well i was they were kind of wobbling making me laugh.
"Where is tori" Sikowitz asked as he walked on the stage "here" she said peaking her head through the curtains.
He jumped back "oh, ha ha. You brought curtains"
"Let's do this" she said shutting the curtains as i placed my feet on Becks lap and my head on Jades lap.
"Ladies and gentleman very good, once again with 'the bird scene' Tori-"
She stuck her head out "Vega"

She opened the curtains, the backdrop was bigger, the was old prairie music, and was wearing an ugly dress no offence.

"Tori listen-" Sikowitz began to say when Tori cut him off making me sit up, he might be a nut job but no one better disrespect him.
"I'm not tryin got be disrespectful, but do you know how hard i worked on this scene, i made this costume"
"Which isn't watermelon" I said as she ignored me continuing ranting.
" I downloaded special prairie music, i even trained a cray cockatoo to fly in and out of that window on command" She said as the bid flew back in, she looked at it " not now" She yelled making it fly back out.
"Look, I know you're a great acting teacher and everything but i don't care what you say, the scene i did was good, and I'm proud of myself no matter what anybody thinks" She said.
Sikowitz started clapping making everyone but Jade and I clap.
"What" she asked confused
"You just passed the bird scene"
"But you said-"
"Tori, the whole point of the bird scene is to teach a performer like yourself, to believe in your own choices no matter what others think, we are artist and a true artist does not define success, based on oh, hee, hee approval from others a true artist need only please themselves"
"So all three times i did the scene-"
"We're delightful, it was only wrong when you asked if it was right"
"Drive by acting exercise, you're all elderly people walking barefoot on broken glass"

We were all surrounded by Tori's locker "you ready" she asked
"Yeah"
"Whatever"
She closed the locker it read "Make it shine"
"Make what shine" Trina, Tori's sister asked.
"Its the title of the song i sang in the big showcase"
"Oh"
"Right"
"I don't care"
"Whatever"
"Cause you know, that's what got me here in the first place".

"Maybe the words should be bigger"
"The words are kind of crooked" I said looking at it.
"Ah, ah, ah, I believe in my won choice, and i don't need approval from others".
"Ah, the young female has learned the ways of "the bird scene".
"I still think its dull" Jade said sipping her coffee, Tori pushed a button making it light up.
"Okay, are we going to eat or what" Jade said making me agree "yeah, I haven't ate in forever, I'm starving"
"coming with" Beck asked Tori making me look back at them and bite my lip.
