In my story the characters speak through leglimency a lot. I am aware that when you use leglimency you can actually see what's going on in their head. But in my story you can not read their mind and see things.
You can only project what you would like to say.
(Sierras Pov)
It's December 7th. A weeks passed and there's a divide in our friend group. No one's even attempted talking it out.
Mattheo and Theo do their own thing.
Draco and Lorenzo are on the same side.
Blaise is in the middle because he gets both points.
And Pansy and I are taking a break from it all.
I haven't really spoken to any one but Pansy and Blaise this past week.
I sat in potions away from everyone and got out my stuff. There were dividers along the tables and I was confused.
Suddenly I remembered today was the day of the practice exams and I haven't started studying yet.
Great.
Professor Slughorn handed out the papers and we immediately got started.
I knew about half of the questions but even those I wasn't sure. I haven't gotten the chance to study yet because of everything that's happened but it was just a practice exam so no big deal.
Class ended and I went to COMC. Hagrid handed out the practice exam and it was the same thing.
I started stressing out because I really didn't know the answers and realized that if I don't study soon I'm fucked.
Finally that class ended and all I had left was DADA.
Unfortunately that class has been quite awkward since everyones split.
I sat in my seat and Pansy was already there.
"Todays the day of your practice exam everyone sit quietly and put up dividers." Said Snape.
"Wait the practice exam is today?" Asked Theo.
"Yes Mr. Nott that is what I just said." Said Snape.
We put up our dividers and he handed them out.
I looked at the first question and my mind went blank.
I decided to skip to the other ones and I was so lost.
I was fucked.
I answered the ones I knew but it was barely anything.
The exam was all multiple choice and it was out of 100. I knew maybe like half of the questions.
Usually I'm quite smart and am able to study but I couldn't this month.
It's okay it was practice.
I handed it in with it half blank.
"Ms Grace are you going to complete the exam?" Asked Snape.
"I'm sorry sir I don't know any of these."
"Very well." He said and took it from me.
I walked back and saw Draco looking at me.
I sat there with my head down because I had nothing else to do.
I knew in my gut that I failed every exam I took today.
There was about 20 minutes left in class and Draco got up to hand in his exam.
He looked at me as he walked back to his desk.
The bell rang and Pansy and I went back to the dorm.
"So how do you think you did?"
"I think I failed every one Pans. But it's fine cause I'll study and then do much better."
"Ya we still have like two weeks so you'll be fine."
The rest of the day passed like usual, Pansy and I went for a walk, we gossiped, we started studying, ate dinner and went to bed.
I woke up the next morning and prepared myself for my exam results but it's ok. It's only practice.
First was Potions.
Our tests were already on our assigned seats facing downwards and I slowly picked mine up.

Shit that's almost a fail. Seeing those results made me much more upset then I thought.
Even though I knew I didn't do so well. I thought atleast in the 70s but no.
I looked back at Draco and watched as he smiled at his paper. I wonder what he got.
Next was COMC. This class I knew I would do better in considering I actually pay attention and love animals.
Hagrid started handing out the tests and he gave me mine.

Fuck.
Now that surprised me because I genuinely thought I did good and didn't. I put my head down on my desk and took a moment to collect my thoughts.
Finally it was the class I dreaded the most DADA.
"Okay class I'll call your name and you can grab your test.
He started calling names and I watched as people smiled and frowned at their papers.
"Mattheo." Said Snape.
He walked over and grabbed his test. I tried studying his face but he was quite good at hiding it.
"Theo." Called Snape.
Theo walked up and his eyes grew wide when he saw his test.
"Hey a pass is a pass." He said smiling.
Clearly he didn't do the best.
"Draco." Said Snape.
Draco grabbed his test and his jaw dropped.
"Congratulations Mr. Malfoy. You got the highest mark in the class which means you will gain 2 extra marks on your real test."
No way. I thought.
"Excuse me Professor, there must be a mistake." Said Hermione.
"Mrs. Granger I can assure you it has been efficiently marked." Said Snape.
Draco looked at Hermione and flipped her off.
"No do a recount." Said Hermione.
"I'm sorry Mrs.Granger but a recount will not take place.
"Give me this." She said grabbing Draco's test.
"Enjoy darling." Said Draco smirking at her.
"Ugh fine." She groaned and handed it back to him.
"Sierra." Said Snape.
My heart started pounding. Nothing could have prepared me for what I was about to see.

I gasped and almost started crying right there and then. I tried keeping my face straight so no one could tell but I couldn't. I pressed my tongue against my cheek and blinked back my tears.
I sat back next to Pansy and immediately faced my test to the downwards.
"Sierra what did you get?" She asked.
I shook my head at her and didn't say a word.
"That's okay you don't have to tell me." She said.
"You at least passed though right?" She asked.
I again sat there in silence.
(Draco's Pov)
She didn't even pass? I couldn't believe it. I know Sierras smarter then that I don't understand what's going on with her.
Well maybe I do.
Maybe this whole divide is triggering her and she can't focus. Or maybe she's been to stressed to study.
I'm not sure what it is but I know she's capable of much more then that.
The bell rang and Lorenzo and I walked back to our dorm.
"So are you even gonna bother studying? Clearly you don't need to." Said Lorenzo.
I looked down at my test and smiled.

"I'm so fucking happy I did better then Hermione. That stuck up bitch needs to be humbled."
"I'm surprised I even did this good." Said Lorenzo.
Lorenzo got a 92/100.
"DADA has to be our best class.
We haven't just been studying, we've been practicing the spells in the manor.
I did really good on my other tests too though.
95/100 for Potions
93/100 for Care of magical creatures.
(Sierras Pov)
I sat in my dorm and felt absolutely defeated with my results. I knew they would be bad but not this bad.
This was a complete mess and I didn't know what to do.
I had a thought but I couldn't.
I could ask Draco to help me because he got the top mark in class.
But I feel so dumb asking him for help after all of this. I can't rely on Draco.
Pansys smart but she's averages Bs. If Draco did better then Hermione clearly he's getting an A.
Pans wasn't with me right now. She told me that the was going to meet with Lorenzo to talk about something. What that something is I have no idea but it must be important if it's the first time their speaking in a week.
I can't go to Draco's dorm now my eyes are blood red from crying,
But then again when am I ever embarrassed around Draco.
Shit I have to do it don't I.
I grabbed my papers and cleaned my face so Draco wouldn't be able to tell I was crying.
I walked to his dorm and stood outside of it with my test papers.
My heart pounded and I was still considering turning around.
(Draco's Pov)
I was just sitting on my bed when I heard a knock on my dorm.
I got up to open it.
Sierra.
"What are you doing here?" I asked her.
I looked at her and noticed her eyes were puffy and red. And I could see dried tears on her face.
"Please just let me in Draco." She said.
I couldn't let her tears get to me. I was still mad about what happened I couldn't give in to her.
"Sierra just tell me what you need and then leave." I said.
She handed me some papers and a rush of shock ran through me as I read it.
Potions Results 55/100
Flip.
COMC Results 72/100
Flip.
DADA Results 32/100.
Holy shit.
These were her practice test marks.
"We don't have to be friends and we can strictly keep our conversations about school but I need your help." She said shaking.
Of course I couldn't say no to her. I grabbed her arm and pulled her in.
"What exactly do you want me to do?
Do you want me to tutor you?" I asked her.
"Yes."
"Okay." I said.
"How exactly do you wanna do this?" I asked her.
I've never tutored anyone before so I didn't know where to start.
"Can we go through your test and tell me how you got your answers?" She said.
"Sure come sit."
We both sat on my bed and I pulled my three tests out.
"Which one do you wanna go through first?" I asked.
She sat there and stared at my papers with her jaw dropped.
"Draco, I didn't realize you were this smart." She said.
"I appreciate that." I said back.
"This must make your parents so proud." She said to me.
"If I showed this 97 to my father he would ask where the other 3 marks went, nothing I ever do will please him."
She didn't say anything back.
"I'm gonna ask you the questions and your gonna try to answer it again and we'll see if you do any better."
"Okay first test is Potions, question 1.
What is another name for Liquid Luck." I asked her.
"Um it's um."
She started shaking her leg.
"Don't be nervous and take your time." I said.
"I don't know." She said.
"The answer is Felix Felicis."
"That's ok let's try the next one.
Which potion was used to painlessly kill prisoners in Azkaban?"
"God it's on the tip of my tongue." She said.
"That's ok take your time and think."
"I really don't know." She said.
"Come on Sierra this is a really easy one, you really gotta think about it."
"Draco I'm trying"
She closed her eyes for a couple of seconds and opened them again.
"I give up." She said.
"Sierra it's just called the Death Potion."
Her cheeks turned red and she looked down.
"Question 3. What potion boosts the spell power of the taker?"
"I'm not even gonna try I don't know." She said.
I sighed.
"The answer is the Exstimulo Potion."
"Shit." She said.
"Ok name any Potion that causes tiredness or drowsiness. You only have to name 1 and there's so many options." I said.
She closed her eyes for about 10 seconds and opened them again.
"I don't know."
I sighed again.
"You could say the Fatiguing Infusion, the Dreamless Sleep Potion, the Drowsiness Draught, the Sleeping Draught and so on." I said
"Fuck." She said.
Sierra was still shaking her leg and avoiding eye contact.
I put my test down and looked at her.
"What's going on Sierra? Why aren't you getting any of these?" I asked her.
"I don't know Draco I'm just an idiot." She said.
I hated how lowly she thought of herself because I knew she was capable of so much more.
"Sierra your not an idiot I know your smarter then this."
"I'm not Draco I can't do this."
"Why is your mind wandering around? What's causing you not to focus?"
She kept looking away and wouldn't answer.
"Hm what's on your mind?" I said lifting her chin and forcing her to look at me.
"The guilt is weighing me down. I just wanna tell everyone it was me who told Harry and not you, so that things can go back to normal.
If no one wants to talk to me anymore that's completely fine, but I don't want you to suffer because of it." She said.
"Is that all that's on your mind?" I ask her.
She stayed silent for a minute, as if she was considering saying more.
"Draco your on my mind.
All the fucking time.
I don't like this awkward tension we have going on I just want our relationship to be normal.
Especially before Christmas." She said.
I understand what she meant.
I wanted to spend the winter break sat in a blanket with her sipping on hot chocolate.
I wanna set up the Christmas tree with her and throw tinsel at her and take her shopping.
But not just with her.
I want all my friends back, even Mattheo.
I wanna sit by the Christmas tree and open gifts together and drink butter beer but it's all at risk now.
"And the winter dance coming up." She said.
I completely forgot about that.
"Sierra I so desperately want that too okay. Do you know how badly I wanna be snuggled up with you in a blanket and watch movies.
Do you know how badly I want to sit by the Christmas tree with everyone and open presents. And do you know how badly I want to dance with you at the winter dance." I said.
"This might be my last normal Christmas before my life is completely taken over by being a death eater. And who knows what's gonna happen after the war." I said.
"Why not make things normal again Draco.
Why not make up with them, and with me?"
She said.
"Because I can't just do that. They won't forgive me so easily."
"Let me tell them it was me who told Harry so that they forgive you and your Christmas can be normal again. Especially if this is may be your last real one." She said.
"What about your Christmas?" I asked her.
"I don't give a shit about my Christmas I just want everyone else to be happy." She said.
"Sierra I won't be happy without you."
"Let's make up then. Clearly your still mad at me so let's find a way to let it all out once and never think about it again." She said.
"Got any ideas?" I asked her.
"I do." She said and smiled.
"Fuck me till your anger leaves you. I don't care go fast or hard just do whatever you want to me. Throw me in any position you want and I won't say my safe word until your done. Let it all out Draco. Show me how pissed you are."
She said.
I had to take a second to process what she just said. That was a lot for even me to take in.
"That's a good idea but what if you need to stop." I said.
"I won't need to stop Draco trust me. In fact let's make it a competition. Let's see who taps out first." She said.
"Okay what happens to the loser?" I asked.
"If you tap out first, I'm telling everyone that it was me who told Harry not you. And if I tap out first we can leave them thinking it was you who told Harry and never have this conversation again" She said.
It was a genius idea because I would hate it if she told them it was her and I know how badly she wants to.
"Deal." I said smirking.
"Why do you look so confident Malfoy?" She asked me.
"I mean come on there was no way I'll tap out first." I said.
(Sierras Pov)
That right there flipped a switch in me.
He thinks I'm gonna tap out first but I have to show him I won't.
Once again my competitive nature is taking over and I have to win.
The deal might seem weird but I desperately wanna tell everyone.
"So when are we doing this?" I asked him,
"Come back tonight at 9:00, Lorenzo will be gone somewhere with Pansy." Said Draco.
"See you then."
