True X. Santiago
True held the nail salon door open so Hasen could go in. He trailed behind her, scrunching his nose at the strong odor in here.
True looked around, noticing it wasn't crowded. He was glad that it wasn't. He didn't want to be around a bunch of people, and he knew Hasen didn't either.
"Appointment or walk in?" The lady at the front desk asked looking at Hasen
"Appointment." Hasen responded, and the lady nodded her head, flipping through a book to find Hasen's name.
"You can go over there." The lady pointed to a lady who was already setting up to do Hasen's nails.
Hasen sat down, and True pulled up a chair to sit next to her.
"Acrylic right?" The lady asked and Hasen nodded her head yes as a response
"What color should I get?" Hasen asked, looking at True, who had his head laying on her shoulder
"I like when you wear light colors." True said, looking at his phone
"Pink?" Hasen asked, she already had pink last month but it was always her go to color.
"Get white." True said his phone started ringing, making him look at the caller ID seeing that it was his PO, Mr. White.
"I'll be back." True said, standing up, pulling his pants up in the process. He answered the call and walked out of the salon
"Yo" True answered, putting the call on speaker as his PO began speaking
"Where are you?" his PO asked.
"In Maryland." True responded pulling his hood over his head
"Why didn't you call me to tell me you were stepping out?" His PO asked and True scrunched his face up
" I'm like 5 minutes away from my home. The fuck I gotta call you for. " True stated, and Mr. White sighed deeply.
"So I can at least make an exception for where you are." Mr. White said, and True sucked his teeth
" I'm still in fucking Maryland. I took my girl to get her nails done. The nail shop ain't that fucking far. " True retorted
"Mr.Santiago I understand that. But you do know if you would've gone any further without informing me, you'd be in violation. " Mr. White explained, and True huffed
"Aigh well. I'm here for right now. " True, said.
"Do you know how long? Are you going anywhere else afterwards?" Mr. White asked,
"I don't know. We probably will. " True responded shrugging his shoulders
"Alright. Just let me know next time. " Mr. White said, making True hang up
True walked back into the nail salon. He was glad it was warm in here because it was freezing outside.
True walked back to the spot Hasen was sitting in, and sat back in the seat he was sitting in recently.
The nail lady was on Hasen's left hand, putting white gel nail polish on the last two fingers.
"You okay?" Hasen asked, looking at True. True nodded his head yes in response.
He picked up her right hand, looking at her nails.
"They dry?" True asked and Hasen nodded her head
"You should've put a T on there." True said, looking at her
"The chain is enough. Don't make it seem like I'm obsessed with you cause I'm not." Hasen said, making True laugh

True was in the bathroom talking on the phone with his grandmother about Adrian. He wanted to come get him but his grandmother was being a bitch.
"Why I can't come get my brother?" True asked his grandmother getting aggravated with her. She just kept bringing up shit he didn't care about
"Your mother wants to see him, True, and I don't want my grandson around that fast ass lil girl." Ms. Netty said, and True scrunched his face up
"Fuck his mother. What fast ass girl?" True became irritated.
"Janet and Jordan daughter, she don't listen to her mother. She's hard headed, her and her lil fast ass sisters. " Ms. Netty said, and True scrunched his face
"My girl ain't got shit to do with her sisters. You barely fucking know her." True told her
"Watch your mouth, True. Don't curse at me." Ms. Netty said, and True sucked his teeth
"She fast and she only 17. I don't want you or Adrian around that messed up family. " Ms. Netty added, and True huffed
"She ain't no fast ass lil girl when she braiding Dri hair though? Her family ain't fucked up when you send him over there so she can babysit him?" True said, getting pissed off, and Ms. Netty went quiet
His grandmother didn't even know Hasen enough to be talking bad about her. He knew who is girlfriend was and for somebody to act like they knew her when they didn't pissed him off.
"Adrian not coming with you this weekend True. He'll be with his mother. You can try again next week. " Ms. Netty hung up on True after the statement.
It took everything in True to not throw his phone at the wall.
True sighed hard, walking out the bathroom. He saw Hasen on the bed on her phone, curled up with a blanket covering her whole body.
She hated being cold. She despised winter, snow, and everything associated with being cold.
He grabbed his blunt he was about to smoke before his grandmother rudely interrupted him.
He looked around for his lighter, patting his pockets.
"Baby, you seen my lighter?" True asked Hasen, who looked invested in her phone
"Check your hoodie." Hasen said while typing on her phone
"Who you texting?" True asked, grabbing his lighter out of the hoodie he had on
"Nobody you know." Hasen responded smartly, making True laugh
"Blow my high if you want." True warned turning his game on
"Come lay next to me. I'm cold. " Hasen said, and True did as told, but he sat up so Hasen could lay her head on his lap.
Hasen stared at True while his focus remained on the game, occasionally taking pulls from the blunt he had.
"Your eyes are so pretty." True sucked his teeth as Hasen complimented him.
He hated when she randomly complimented him, it made him nervous.
"Make you wanna fuck me?" True asked, licking his lips
"Maybe." Hasen responded. Shrugging her shoulders. True laughed, looking at her before paying attention to the game again
"You playing, you know you get my dick hard quick. " True said, sighing, making Hasen laugh.
Hasen looked down at his hand, seeing he had another tattoo. He had a big H tattooed on the back of his hand
"You got another tattoo?" Hasen asked, and True nodded his head
"Your name 2 times." True said and Hasen eyes widened sitting up.
"Why would you do that?" Hasen asked, grabbing his arm, and he sucked his teeth
"Cause I wanted to." True responded simply pausing his game. Hasen huffed. True looked at her, licking his lips
"You mad?" True asked, grabbing her face to kiss her lips
"No.." Hasen responded, kissing back.
"Show me the other ones." Hasen said, grabbing his arm.
