Eren: "To be honest, we don't know."
Mikasa: "What?"
Armin: "We don't know."
Levi: "How?"
Eren: "We don't know. We just woke up."
Hange: "Hm, tell us more about what happened that day."
[Flashback, to the underground chamber the sound of a crack, then the crystals shatter, Eren and Armin started coughing and looking around. They then looked at each other.]
Eren: "What in the world, is it already time."
Armin: "I don't think so."
[Eren walked over to a door and opened it, In the room was a table in the room and saw papers, she even pulled down a task board that was outlining something.]
Eren: "Hey Armin, come look at this."
Armin: "Hm, it looks like a plan."
[Armin's eyes caught the calendar and she noticed the outlines, dates being outlined in different colours, She looked at the task board and found the key, now paying attention to the board, she looked through the tasks, then looked at the documents on the desk.]
Armin: "Eren, I think I understand what going on."
Eren: "Well this is your area, go on and don't miss anything."
Armin: "So if I have this right someone has to mark the calendar every day, so the last black outlined on the calendar is today."
Eren: "Why do you think so?"
Armin: "As the key says blue means the day of departure, and red is the date of the attack, the day of departure was two days ago because the black outline is past the blue outline so the last black outline is today, so we were only in the crystal for two months."
Eren: "That's a very short time, when are they going to attack?"
Armin: "Four days from now, It says the trip to Marley is two days, so they are already in Marley, if we leave today we can make it two days before the attack, but if we leave tomorrow we'll only have one day."
Eren: "If anything we'll have to leave tomorrow because we'll have to plan, to get out."
Armin: "We should ask someone to help us get there."
Eren: "No, we might cause the plan to be ruined if we do that."
Armin: "Why?"
Eren: "Trust me, Armin."
Armin: "Hm, ok."
[End of flashback.]
Levi: "So that's what happened."
Eren: "Yeah, pretty much."
Hange: "Hm, well I think we talk about all of this later, we are just coming back from war, so let's rest."
[They all nod and disperse, a few days later on the training ground.]
Gabi: "I can't take this anymore!"
Falco: "What is it now?"
[Falco looked at her with an annoyed look.]
Gabi: "Falco, we need to escape!"
Falco: "Why?"
Gabi: "Why?! Don't you see they're using us!"
Falco: "I don't see it that way, they're sweet and kind especially Eren, she is very kind and loving, plus they feed us well and gave us a proper place to live but if you see them using us, isn't the same in Marley."
Gabi: "Um, well, but."
Falco: "But what Gabi, you were crying in Eren's arms that day, and she comforted you, and you still think of them as devils!"
Gabi: "But Marley said."
Falco: "Bullshit, absolutely bullshit! They said everything to keep us in check, look around you and look at the so-called prisoners."
[Gabi looked at the other Marleyans, laughing, chatting and walking with the 'devils', She then looked at Falco, then tears started to form in her eyes.]
Falco: "Don't you dare cry, it's getting old."
[He then continues to put on his gear to get ready to train, Gabi walks away and bumps into someone, she looks up at the person and sees the person she didn't really want to see.]
Eren: "Hello Gabi was it."
Gabi: "You! How do you know my name?"
Eren: "Because I'm your teacher."
