The Commander was in a bad mood

He just woke up one day, and felt he was too kind recently, so he decided to be in a bad mood now

Back to the base, all the girls there were worried about the state of the Commander, but one was more worried than the others..........
Dunkerque: Is my bread good enough? Will the Y/N like it? Will he be in a better mood after it? Ugggghhhhhhhh! It's stressing me out!
Yup, Dunkerque was currently trying her best to help the Commander be in a better mood
AND! She is the only one allowed to call him by his name, and no one else
Hell, even Arbiter didn't had the right to call him by his name
Jean Bart: Don't worry about it, he always loved your bread, remember? You even prepared some more bakery
Dunkerque: But this time it's different! He said he wanted some, while every other times I offered him! He want only the best for this one!
Jean Bart: Jeez, take it easy, we have your back if something happens, don't worry

She took a deep breath, and walked toward the Commander's office, determined
When she was in front of the door, she was about to knock, before she hesitated

She turn around, and was about to walk away, before she heard a voice from inside
???: Who's at the door?
She froze, before she shakily turn around, and open the door
Y/N POV
I was about to yell at the person who opened the door to leave me alone, before I saw it was Dunkerque, and calmed down
I sigh, before leaning back on my chair, and look at her, as she was standing at the door
Y/N: ...........
Dunkerque: ............
Y/N: You're taking a seat, or...........?
Dunkerque: A-Ah! I'm sorry!
She walked to the sofa, and placed the bakery on the table, as I got up from my chair, and walked toward her
Dunkerque: I-It's the bakery you asked from me! There's bread, cookies, and-!
Y/N: I'm not blind, don't worry
Dunkerque: S-Sorry!
Why is she this stressed about that?
Not because I asked her this time, that it means a bad thing
I'm just lazy and wanted to eat her bakery again
Y/N: Alright, I'm going to test it out
I took the bread, and from the corner of my eye, I saw Dunkerque stressing out over that
Seriously........... I'm really too soft some times
Taking a bite, I felt it was like everytime, delicious
Y/N: Hmm......... It's good, you did well, Dunkerque
She looked at me with a bright smile, and nodded happily

Y/N: Come on, let's eat some together, it would be a waste

She happily eat with me, as I hear the doors opening slightly
Looking at the door, I saw Jean Bart, Richelieu and Algérie looking at the scene, with a smile
I nodded at them, as they closed the door
Dunkerque: Hmm? Is there something wrong, Y/N?
Y/N: Nah, don't worry. I must say, it's better tasting when I'm eating it with someone, even more when it's you
Dunkerque: E-Eh?
Y/N: I feel more calm than usual when you're around
Dunkerque: O-Oh, well, that's good to hear
She quietely eat her bakery, as I stretched a bit
Dunkerque: You're tired, Y/N?
Y/N: Yeah, all the works recently have been taking a toll on my sleeping schedule, somehow, so I didn't slept much those 3 days
Dunkerque: How much sleep did you get recently?
Y/N: I would say........... 6 hours?
Dunkerque: That's not good! You need to rest more
Y/N: Meh, I can handle myself
Dunkerque: I'm staying with you, just in case

As the day passed, Y/N was helped by Dunkerque through multiple task, since she didn't wanted him to be too tired
When everything was over, they both sigh in relief, and Dunkerque smiled at Y/N
Dunkerque: We did it, Y/N!
Y/N: Yup. I'm going to take a walk, wanna join?
Dunkerque: Sure, it would be my pleasure
They started to walk around the base, as Dunkerque was eyeing Y/N's hand every minute
???: Oh, Commander
Looking behind, they saw Le Malin walking to them, smiling
Dunkerque: Le Malin, it's nice to see you
Le Malin: Likewise, Dunkerque. Commander, you seems in a better mood
Y/N: Somehow
Dunkerque: What can we do fo-
Y/N: Wait a minute
He took a small ball out of nowhere, and launch it at a random direction, and waited for a few second
???: OW! WHO IN THE FUCK THREW THAT TO ME?!
Y/N: IT'S IRON BLOOD!
???: FUCKING GERMAN GIRL!
Y/N: I have done mischief, I am now happy
Le Malin: As always, you're up to cause problem
Y/N: You want to take for them instead?
Le Malin: Never said you were in the wrong

Dunkerque: Impressive, Y/N!
Y/N: Anyway, we're still going, don't join, it's just the two of us

He grabbed her hand, and leaded her toward another place
She looked at her and Y/N's hand, and smiled to herself
They were now in the kitchen, as Nevada was here
Nevada: Oh, Commander! Been a while since I saw you in the kitchen, what's up?
Y/N: Going to make a cake with my girl
Dunkerque: Y-Your girl?!
Y/N: That's right
Dunkerque: I-I don't mind..............
Nevada: Well, guess I just leave you two alone
She walked out of the room, as they heard a yell from her
Nevada: AYO GIRLS THE COMMANDER AND DUNKERQUE ARE ON A DATE!
Y/N: Don't bother, let's start already
Dunkerque: Yes..........
She flashed him a bright smile, and closed her eyes
Dunkerque: Darling!
When she opened her eyes, it was the first time she saw it
Y/N had a genuine smile on his face, and closed his eyes, in peace
She blushed at this sight, but joined him, and helped him on making the cake
They both were cooking, as Dunkerque placed her hand on top of Y/N's and smiled
They were peacefully doing their cooking, not caring at all about what was around them
Because actually..........
Roon, Akagi and Taihou were trying to get in the way
But thankfully, Jean Bart, Richelieu got their homie's back, and stopped them

Dunkerque: And now, we wait until it's cooked
Y/N: Let's take a small break, ok?
Dunkerque: Yes
They both sat down, as they were drinking some tea, together
Dunkerque: Y/N
Y/N: Yes?
Dunkerque: Thank you for this day you passed with me, it was the best day I could ask for
Dunkerque: Thank you, Y/N!
Y/N: Heh, seriously.......
He was about to say something, before an alarm ringed, waking her up
Dunkerque: W-What?
Y/N: Oh, you're awake, I just finished with everything
Dunkerque: What happened?
Y/N: You slept on the couch because you overworked yourself doing the bakery. And I'm the one who should get rest?
Dunkerque: A.........dream?
She looked at her hand, and smiled to herself
Dunkerque: Y/N
Y/N: Sup
Dunkerque: I'm grateful this war happened. Because without it, I would never had the chance to pass all of those wonderful moments with you! Thank you for everything, and remember, if you ever feel like crying, my bossom is always available for you
She walked out of the room, as Y/N looked at her
A small smile appeard on his face, and soon, small tears fell from his eyes
Y/N: Seriously...... Saying all those nice things out of sudden, even I can't hold it after that...........
He wiped his eyes, and smiled, and made an announcement
Y/N: ALRIGHT EVERYONE! YOU READY?! BECAUSE THE BEST COMMANDER EVER IS BACK ON THE TRACK HAHAHAHAHAHA!
