Ok this is my first story on here so please don’t judge me (In My Chris Brown Voice :D)
Jasmine’s starting her junior year in a new state and school.
Jas’ Mom: Jasmine ! Wake up or your gonna be late for your first day
Jasmine: I’m up already and being late for my first day isn’t so bad or maybe I should just miss it all together
Jas’ Mom: Jasmine stop it your gonna have fun
Jasmine: Mom I’m the new girl it’s never fun being the new girl
Jas’ Mom: Yes it is you get to meet new people that’s always fun
Jasmine: Really no one messes with the new girl at school
Jas’ Mom: Well I would mess with you
Jasmine: Lol thanks mom but that doesn’t help
Jas’ Mom: Well I tried but it’s getting late and you need to grab something to eat and go
Jasmine: *sighs* Ok *grabs pop-tart*
Jas’ Mom: Forgetting something
Jasmine: Um no *walks away* lol just kidding
I give my mom a kiss and walk to the garage. I get in my baby (Red Nissan Altima) and pull out the driveway. I pull up to Atlanta High and sit there for a minute. I finally take a deep breath and get out. I walk in the front office and I get a couple stares from people that make me feel a little more uncomfortable than I already was. I walk up to the front desk and ask the lady for my schedule.
Lady: Hi um Jasmine Harris
Jasmine: Yes
Lady: Here’s your schedule now do you need someone to show you around or can you manage
Jasmine: Can someone show me around please
Lady: Sure let me get one of my assistants *walks away*
When she comes back there’s this cute light skin guy who looks like something out of my dream. He has the cutest smile and eyes you’ve ever seen. He’s extremely tall well compared to my 5’2 height he’s like 6’1 maybe 6’2. He can’t be who she was talking about.
Lady: Jasmine right
Jasmine: Yes
Lady: ok this is your guide for today his name is DeShawn
Jasmine: *smiles* Hi I’m Jasmine
DeShawn: Sup
Lady: DeShawn will walk you to every class and pick you up from every class to walk you to your next class and you two should get going before the bell. DeShawn will explain to you all the rules as the day goes by. Have a nice day and welcome to Atlanta High School.
Jasmine: Thank you
Deshawn: Iight can I see yo schedule
Jasmine: oh yea *gives schedule*
He must be really popular around here. Ever girl we pass ends up giving me a rude look or glares at me. He stops to talk to a group of guys so I kinda just sit back and let him talk.
Guy: Whose she
DeShawn: Oh some new girl I got to show around
Jasmine: Um I know its rude to ease drop and interrupt but my name is Jasmine
DeShawn: You right it is rude
Jasmine: Sorry but I have a name and it’s not oh some new girl I got to show around
Guy: Haha sorry my boy rude don’t mind him I’m Jamal by the way this is Trey and Michael where you from Jasmine
Jasmine: I’m from Cali
Trey: All the way from Cali what you doing out here
Jasmine: My mom got a new job
DeShawn: Iight dang this at get to know the new girl time
Jasmine: My name is Jasmine
DeShawn: Whatever
Jasmine: Ugh can you just show me to my first period please
DeShawn: Hold on I know you saw me talking to them
Michael: Naw go ahead and show her to her class we gotta get going anyways we gon catch up with you later bro
DeShawn: Iight
Trey: Oh hey Jasmine what lunch you got
Jasmine: Um I don’t know DeShawn has my schedule
They guys look at him for a minute.
DeShawn: what
Jamal: Bro what lunch she got
DeShawn: She got our lunch
Trey: Cool you wanna sit with us unless you plan on sitting with someone else
DeShawn: Hell naw she can’t sit with us
Michael: Bro stfu
Jasmine: Um thanks for offering but I don’t think he wants me to sit with you guys
Jamal: Well don’t worry about him
Jasmine: Well I’ll let you know if something comes up
Trey: cool
DeShawn: Man come on so I can drop you of
Jasmine: It was nice meeting you guys
Guys: Later
Girl: Hey DeShawn
DeShawn: Aye what’s up Keisha
Keisha: Hey I had fun this weekend we should hook up again soon
DeShawn: For sho
Keisha: I’ll see you around
Jasmine: Um class
DeShawn: Alright damn
He finally gets me to my English class and drops me off. I walk in and introduce myself to my teacher. He tells me to grab a seat and class will start soon. There was only a couple seats left in the back. My classes went by pretty fast and DeShawn got ruder every time he picked me up. I’m in my last class before lunch unfortunately I have this class with DeShawn. My teacher had us partner up for a lab. Everyone partnered up with people they knew. A girl walked up to my table and asked to sit down.
Girl: Hi I’m Shay
Jasmine: I’m Jasmine
Shay: So where are you from
Jasmine: Cali
Shay: Wow what’s it like out there
Jasmine: Beautiful
Shay: How you liking Georgia so far
Jasmine: Um well I’ve met some nice people but not really feeling some people here
Shay: Lol what’s his name
Jasmine: Lol how did you know
Shay: It’s always a guy that ruins the new girls first day
Jasmine: Oh well his name is DeShawn
Shay: That DeShawn over there
Jasmine: Yea
Shay: Eww
Jasmine: Not that I don’t understand why you said that but can I ask what’s wrong with him
Shay: Lol he’s the star basketball player quarterback number one school hoe and dope boy trust me he’s well known
Jasmine: Wow
Shay: Yea my advice try not to conversant with him
Jasmine: Yea well I definitely have to tell his friends I won’t be sitting with them
Shay: Hmm you must have second lunch then you can sit with me
Jasmine: Thanks Shay
Shay: No problem
We finished up our lab and got to know each other a little better. Shay is a pretty chill girl. We walked to lunch together. Trey saw me and walked over to me.
Trey: Hey cutie
Jasmine: Lol hi Trey
Trey: What’s up Shay
Shay: Hey Trey I see you still hanging around DeShawn
Trey: You know Ima stop when you become my girl
Shay: Mhm
Trey: So you still sitting with us Jasmine
Jasmine: Um no actually Ima sit with Shay
Trey: Dang Shay you cock blocking already
Shay: See that’s why we not ever gon be together
Trey: You know I’m just messing with you Shay you the only one I want
Shay: Lol whatever Trey
Trey: Lol well I’ll catch up with ya’ll later
Us: Bye
Jasmine: He's funny *bumps into someone* oops sorry
DeShawn: Damn watch where the fuck you going
Shay: Damn DeShawn chill she said sorry
DeShawn: Man whatever
Shay: You such an ass
DeShawn: And your ugly no move
Shay: You got feet walk around
He sucked his teeth and walked around us. We started laughing and went to get our lunch. We found a table and started talking about stuff. She invited me to a party this Saturday. The rest of my day went by pretty cool. I took Shay’s advice and ignored DeShawn. I walked to my car and seen Michael and Jamal hanging around next to it. I smiled at them as I got closer.
Jamal: what’s up shortie
Jasmine: Nothing about to head home and finish unpacking
Jamal: Ya’ll need help
DeShawn: *coming out of nowhere* naw we got stuff to do
Michael: Maybe next time Jasmine
Jasmine: Its cool thanks for offering you guys
Jamal: No problem see you later
Jasmine: bye
I got in and started my car. I still had Celebration playing by The Game. I heard Jamal laugh and say ‘she a thug from Cali DeShawn you better watch out’ I laughed and pulled out. I stopped by the store and got a couple things and then went home. I got out and to my surprise I saw him.
