(Sierras Pov)
I sit up and yawn with my eyes half shut.
"Finally she's awake I thought she died."
Said Mattheo.
I look around and the whole gangs in Mattheos dorm.
"Happy Halloween Sierra!" Said Pansy.
I smiled at her.
"Died? what murdered me?" I asked.
"That killer dick you got last night." Said Theo.
"You did not need to say that out loud."
I said with embarrassment.
Everyone laughed except Draco.
Why does he have to be like that.
"Now that she's awake what are we gonna do today? It's Halloween so classes are canceled." Said Blaise.
"Ooo let's go to a haunted house." Says Pansy.
"Ya that would be sick." Said Theo.
"Sierra you down for that?" Asked Mattheo.
Here's the thing.
I'm terrible with scary shit.
"I can um wait outside you guys can go." I said.
"Aww are you scared?" Said Lorenzo.
"Don't worry I'll protect you." Said Mattheo.
I stood up to go to the washroom but I forgot I couldn't walk.
I fell on my ass.
"Fuck."
Mattheo laughed and picked me up.
"God that's so embarrassing." I said covering my face.
"Hey if it makes you feel better look at Pansy." Said Lorenzo.
"Don't you fucking dare." She said.
Lorenzo picked her up and gave her a little push. She fell straight to the floor.
I laugh at her.
"Whatever Enzo help me up." She said.
(Draco's Pov)
I can't help being in a pissy mood.
I know Sierras told me she loved me but hearing her say it to Mattheo hurt.
I know it's unfair of me because she's allowed to love whoever she wants but I wanna be the only one.
I make eye contact with Mattheo and he shakes his head at me.
"Draco don't pull this shit today it's Halloween." I rolled my eyes at him and stood up.
"Draco where you going?" Asked Sierra.
Her voice was so fucking adorable I hated being an asshole.
I said nothing and walked out.
(Sierras Pov)
"What's up his ass this morning?" Asked Lorenzo.
"Jealousy." Said Mattheo.
"Why what happened?" Asked Blaise.
"Long story." Said Theo.
"I don't want him to be in a bitchy mood today it's Halloween." I said whining.
"Let him sulk for a bit he'll get over it." Said Lorenzo.
"Someone go talk to him." I said.
"Luna why don't you go darling. Draco would never get mad at you." Said Blaise.
"Sure." She said back.
Luna got up and left.
"I feel bad sending her, she has to deal with an angry Draco." Said Pansy.
(Draco's Pov)
"Draco stop please."
"Who sent you here?" I asked Luna.
"Well they all kinda did." She softly said back.
They were fucking smart. They knew I couldn't be a bitch to Luna.
"What's wrong?" She said.
"Nothing I'm fine." I said back.
She touched my arm and gasped.
"Oh my your so tense." She said.
"I'm just pissed." I said.
"Well that's okay everyone gets sad sometimes."
She was so full of hope.
"Sierra said she didn't want you to be upset. I'm sure the feeling will pass."
"Luna I really appreciate it but I don't know if it's ever gonna pass."
"Why what happened? I'll keep it between us."
"Yesterday Mattheo and Sierra told each other they loved one another. Based on the way it sounded it wasn't the first time. Sierras allowed to love who she wants but I can't help but feel jealous."
"Draco, Sierra loves you too." She said.
"I know that, she's told me multiple times."
"Well what's the problem then?" She said confused.
"The problem is that I can't say it back."
"You can't? Or you just haven't?" She said.
That was a good point.
"I haven't."
"Why not?"
"Because I'm afraid."
"Of what?"
"Commitment."
"Blaise was afraid of commitment, so was Lorenzo. It took them a while but in the end it worked out for them." She said.
"But my end goal isn't to date her."
"What is it then?"
This brought up a whole new layer of questions.
What was my end goal with her?
"Ok maybe I want to end up with her, but I can't because of. The lord."
"Why is the lord stopping you."
"I'm sure Blaise has told you. About the new responsibilities you know the mark." I said.
"Ya but why is it stopping you. Have you ever actually thought about it."
I wanted to answer but I didn't know. Other then keeping Sierra safe, nothing was stopping me.
"What about Mattheo? He's into her too."
"Yea but eventually Sierras gonna have to choose. And your never gonna get her if you don't try."
"I know."
"Well feel better Draco." She said and left.
Sierra can't be hurt all the way at hogwarts. It's not hard to keep her a secret, atleast until the war ends.
So what's stopping me from dating her then.
Mattheo is.
But what if she chooses me.
I have to talk to her about it but not right now because todays halloween.
Lunas right. If I don't try it won't happen.
(Sierras Pov)
Mattheo and I got ready and we all met in the common room to go to the haunted house.
I still didn't wanna go but they convinced me.
Mattheo you promise you won't leave my side right?"
"Relax Sierra ill be right next to you."
Draco apparated in.
"You finally grew some balls." And showed up. Said Lorenzo.
"I'm not in the fucking mood." Draco replied.
Mattheo walked over to him and whispered in his ear.
"Well we're all here let's go." Said Theo.
We apparated to the muggle world and walked to the haunted house.
A knot grew in my stomach.
"No I can't." I said.
I felt hands on my shoulder and jumped.
"Your so jumpy." Said Mattheo.
"I don't do well with scary things." I said.
We entered the house.
This house wasn't a big area instead you went in groups room by room.
Our group was Mattheo, Theo, Pansy, Lorenzo, Blaise, Luna, Draco and I.
We entered the first room.
There was someone dressed as a clown.
"Welcome." It said creepily said and grinned.
I immediately grabbed on to Mattheo.
"Anyone feel like joining my circus?" The clown asked.
"I will." Said Lorenzo.
The clown walked up and put a red nose on him.
Lorenzo didn't even flinch.
Everyone giggled a bit.
Not me though.
"Now get out." The clown yelled and we walked over to the next room.
The next room had a bunch of statues of creepy looking people but I knew one of them was real.
"Ok which one is it?" Asked Pansy smiling.
How was everyone so brave? I grabbed on to Mattheo even harder.
"ITS ME." One of the statues yelled and it walked out holding a knife. Everyone screamed.
I know the knife was a prop but I was still terrified. It started running towards us and we ran out of that room and entered a hall.
It chased us down to the end of the hall and finally walked away.
We reached a dead end.
"W-where do we go now?" I asked.
"The tunnel." Said Lorenzo smiling.
There was a small tunnel on the wall and it seemed as if we had to crawl.
"Well come on." Said Blaise.
He went through without hesitating. We lined up and Mattheo was ahead of me. Everyone crawled through and it was my turn. I looked behind me it was only Draco and I left.
"Are you gonna go?" He asked.
That was the first time he's talked to me today.
"Give me a minute." I said.
God this was so awkward.
He sighed and rolled his eyes at me.
He grabbed my waist and pushed me in.
I had no choice but to crawl.
I finally made it out and Mattheo grabbed me.
"You made it." He said smiling.
We entered the next room.
All we saw was a bed and a girl laying on her back.
"Fuck." I said.
"Hey are you single?" Said Theo walking up to the bed.
How can they just do things like that?
Suddenly her stomach rose and contorted into a back bend and screamed.
She had long black hair that covered her face.
Everyone jumped.
"Damn I was just asking?" Said Theo.
I couldn't look at her so I closed my eyes and latched on to Mattheo.
We all ran out.
"See your doing it." Mattheo said encouraging me.
"Barely."
We went through a couple more rooms and everyone was screaming, running and having a great time except Draco.
He didn't flinch or scream. He didn't even smile.
He just slowly dragged his feet.
We entered a new room. There was a long white carpet and two people at the end of it.
They were getting "married"
"Welcome to our wedding." Said the bride I closed my eyes.
"Don't close your eyes WATCH." Yelled the bride.
I opened my eyes and she was in front of me.
She looked terrifying. Her eyes were all white and she was covered in blood. Her mouth looked like it was stitched up.
Whoever the makeup artist was did a great job.
She handed me a black bouquet.
"I think your next to get married." She said.
"No I really don't think so." I said back shaking.
"Well I need a new groom since my old one, mysteriously died."
She walked over to her old groom and faced him towards us.
His mouth leaked fake blood and it looked like he lost his eyes.
I hated every minute of this and I dug my face into Mattheo. He wrapped his arms around me and I felt a million times safer.
"Who should I choose as my new groom."
She said.
"The one with the white hair." Said Mattheo smiling.
"Perfect." Said the bride.
I lifted my head from Mattheo and watched as she pointed at Draco.
Draco walked towards her and she smiled.
"Let's make a toast!" She said holding Draco's hand.
Draco stood there unamused and everyone else laughed.
"She handed Draco a shot glass with a liquid in it." It had to have been water by who knows.
"Come on drink it's not poison." She said smiling.
Draco knocked it back immediately.
And even the fake bride looked shocked for a second.
Everyone watched with such interest.
"Oh well um kiss the bride I guess." She said half confused.
Draco grabbed her neck with both hands and kissed her. He took his mouth off and left behind a hickey.
The actor froze.
"Damn Draco, you made her break character." Said Theo.
"Anything else?" Said Draco smirking and moving her hair aside.
I can't believe he was brave enough to get that close to her, let alone kiss her.
"I- um." She stuttered.
"What's wrong love?" Said Draco.
Draco knew how to give anyone butterflies no matter the situation.
But I can't believe he was flirting with the actor in the haunted house.
"Ooooo." Said Lorenzo.
"You were supposed to be scared."
Said the actor.
"Nothing scares me anymore." Said Draco.
The actor grabbed a paper out and scribbled on it.
She placed it in Draco's pocket.
"NOW GET OUT." She yelled causing us all to flinch.
"Sure thing darling." Said Draco.
"Wow Draco you pull girls from every god damn corner. Said Pansy.
"I don't pull they come to me." He said.
We walked to the last room and it said exit on the top.
Finally. We opened the door and it was crowded with stuff.
I don't know how to explain it but there was a big room with a bunch of long punching bags and sheets hanging from the ceiling. I couldn't see anything and we had no choice but to shove our way through and hope.
It was pitch black and a bright light flashed every ten seconds.
"Well this is the last room." Said Mattheo.
The door shut behind us and all I saw was darkness.
I felt my heart race and tried to calm myself down. Everyone started walking and I couldn't feel Mattheo anymore. There were thundery sounds playing and I could hardly hear.
"Mattheo!" I yelled.
No answer.
"Mattheo! Guys!" I yelled again.
It was no use no one could hear.
"No no no this cannot happen." I said.
I kept walking forward but felt myself start to freeze up.
It was pitch black, I couldn't hear anything and I lost everyone.
"Fuck, fuck, fuck." I kept walking but it felt like it was never ending.
"Is anyone here?" I said.
No answer.
I felt like I was gonna die in here.
My heart pounded even more and I went cold.
My eyes watered up and I started crying.
"I don't know where to go someone help me."
(Draco's Pov)
We all finally exited the house and were back into the outside world.
"That was fucking awesome!" Said Theo.
"Ya we have to go again one day." Said Blaise.
I looked around to see how Sierra felt but she was nowhere to be seen.
"Guys where's Sierra?" I asked.
"I swear she was with us." Said Pansy.
"Holy shit she's still in there." Said Mattheo.
My heart dropped. She was alone in there and I knew she was freaking out.
"Fucking hell Mattheo why did you let her go."
I said.
Without thinking I ran back inside.
(Sierras Pov)
I felt so defeated everyone was gone and I didn't know what to do.
I was getting major claustrophobia and I felt like I was gonna pass out.
So I stood there and sobbed.
I was dizzy and felt my legs about to give in soon.
Suddenly I feel someone grabbed my arm and I jumped.
I tried pushing it off of me but it wouldn't let go.
"Get off!" I yelled.
"Shhh it's okay it's just me darling." It was Draco.
Thank fucking Merlin.
I threw my arms around him and cried I didn't care how awkward it was.
He put his arms around my waist and pulled me towards him.
"I've got you now darling."
"Draco I'm lost, and stuck get me out I wanna leave." I said crying.
"Don't worry your safe I'm right here with you okay." He said wiping my tears.
We kept walking.
"No more tears my love we're almost there now."
I stayed silent.
"Hey are you still with me?" He asked concerned and rubbing my hand.
"I'm scared."
"I'm here with you now, I won't let anything happen to you, promise." He said.
We finally made it out and everyone was waiting there.
I never knew how relieved seeing the outdoors could make me feel.
"Sierra I'm so sorry are you okay?" Said Mattheo running up to me.
I nodded and tightly held Draco's hand.
Draco sat me down on a bench and everyone surrounded me.
"Sierra are you okay? Do you want anything?" Said Pansy.
I shook my head too stunned to speak.
"Why don't you guys head to the gift shop I'll take care of her for a bit." Said Draco.
"Here let me stay too." Said Mattheo.
"I said I'll take care of it." Said Draco with his voice slightly raised.
Everyone gave each other a look and walked off.
I was too embarrassed to speak.
Draco sat next to me and grabbed my hand.
"What happened in there?" Said Draco.
"I d- I don- ." I stuttered."
"It's okay you don't have to answer take a minute love." He pulled me in and held my head into him.
I sat there and he rubbed my back.
Finally I lifted my head up.
"I lost Mattheo and freaked out which caused me to freeze. By then the rest of you had already left and I freaked out even more. I felt like I was walking forever and went into panic mode. I know it was dumb I should have kept walking because I would have made it but I didn't. I stood there like a baby and cried."
"That's okay it happens." Said Draco.
Everyone walked back and Mattheo handed me a bag.
"Go ahead open it." He said smiling.
I opened the bag and pulled out a little box.
I opened the box and in there was a cute little ghost that lit up.
"Take this as my apology gift." Said Mattheo.
I laughed.
"So do you forgive me?" He asked.
"Yes I forgive you." I said smiling.
