Y/N'S POV
"Hey"
"Hey" i run to hug her and she holds me in her arms leaving me a little kiss on my hair.
"I missed you" she tells me
"You too" i tell her
"It took you time, did something happen?" she asks as we get into her car.
"Oh uhm no, i just had a setback" she turns to look at me, or rather, to analyze me.
She starts the car without saying a word.
"And this mishap has something to do with Lizzie right?" she says out of the blue.
"Hailee..."
"No it's okay, i mean is your life after all, it's just-i don't want to see you suffer y/n, you know i care about you and it would hurt me to see you in pain" she explains to me while she's focused on the road ahead of her.
"Don't worry Lee, we just talked and she clarified a few things to me after some things that had happened ..." of course Hailee doesn't know what happened between me and Lizzie that day at the hotel and i know if she knew it would be all hell.
"So have you forgiven her? I mean i don't know what happened but from how bad you've been in this days i think it was something serious and difficult to forgive" she questions
"It was and i don't think i've forgiven her in the depths of my heart, but i still need some answers and if i stay away from her i'll never get them"
"You're spinning around the situation Y/n and you know well that this isn't the real reason" her tone is more serious and she seems almost annoyed.
"What do you mean Lee?"
"You love her don't you?" that question overwhelms me like a wave, i don't know if it's because is unexpected or cause it's asked by her.
Hailee and i have bonded so much lately and i love her, but i still think she wants something else from our relationship, something that now and maybe i could never give her and i'm sorry for that.
"I-well-i-" i stammer fearing her reaction
"Come on y/n, it's clear that there's something between you two, you love her and she definitely feels something for you but she's so cowardly that she doesn't want to tell you and that's what pisses me off, you keep following a person that at her age she should have the courage to face situations and especially in a mature way instead she just makes you suffer " she raises her voice.
It's obvious that's not the only reason of her reaction, she probably hates that i continue to choose Lizzie when i would have the easiest solution right here, beside to me.
But i love Lizzie
i love that woman so fucking much.
"Hey Lee listen, i know you just want to protect me and i'm grateful to you, but i need to figure out some things by myself and make some decisions but i don't want to get into arguing with you for this. Lizzie is important to me and i would like, if you want and can, that you support me in my every right or wrong decision" i'm aware that it's hard for her, but i know that she loves me enough to understand me.
"I will always support you y/n, even if it means seeing you with someone i don't like, but if it makes you happy i'm happy for you and i'm sorry, i didn't want to ruin these last hours with you before i leaving, i exaggerated" she says placing a hand on mine
"Don't worry, i just need to know that i'll always have you close to me"
"Always" she responds, i smile and i see her smile too from the rearview mirror of the car.
What matters now is to understand what Lizzie feels about me and step forward, i don't want to hide my feelings from her anymore.

"See you soon okay?"
"Yes, i can't wait to see you again" i tell her smiling
"Me too, now come here and hug me" i dive into her arms and she holds me tight.
"I'll miss you Lee"
"Please don't make me cry" we look at each other and then we both laugh
"Bye sweetheart"
"Bye Lee" she leaves me a kiss on my hair, grabs her suitcase and after smiling at me one last time she turns and goes to her plane.
I wait for the plane to fly away and then i leave the airport with a smile on my face.
Hailee makes me really happy, i didn't think i would ever meet her and especially that such a beautiful relationship could be born between us.
I love her and she loves me, despite the fact that i put stakes in our relationship she didn't make the situation in a toxic way but rather she was very understanding and kind with me.
I take a taxi and go home, i open the doorway and throw the backpack somewhere in the living room.
"Cas i'm at home" i warn without receiving an answer.
I go to the table and see a post it.
"I went on a date,
tomorrow i'll tell you everything ;),
but in the meantime to make me forgive
i got your favorite pizza,
eat for me please.

I have eaten very little lately, in fact, i can say that i have stopped eating.
Cas and Hailee were the only people who forced me to eat at least enough to keep me on my feet.
I realize that the situation is getting worse, i'm returning to relive times that i thought were now a thing of the past.
I take a slice of pizza and put it on a plate and go to my room, i know that one way or another Cassie would check if i actually ate so i have little choice.
I throw myself in bed and just then a message pop up on my phone.
Lizzie🧸:
Hey 🤍
my heart leaps for joy.
Me:
Hey Liz, what's up
I try to appear calm but i'm actually happy that she wrote to me, it has been a while since i received a message from her and i actually missed reading her name on my phone.
Lizzie🧸:
Oh uhm i didn't think
you'd answer me right away,
are you still with Hailee?
Me:
Nope, i'm at home
Lizzie🧸:
Oh uhm perfect, can i videocall you?
Why on earth does she want to make a video call with me?
Me:
Yes...but did something happen?
Lizzie🧸:
Oh no it's just...i miss your face😊
Then her call appears on my phone which i immediately accept and a clumsy Lizzie with a straw hair appears on my screen.
Lizzie's look:
"Hey" she smiles at me with so much tenderness.
"Hey little bear" i smile too and she immediately scrunches her adorable nose when she hears me calling her by her nickname, actually i haven't called her that for a while.
"I missed it but most i missed your smile" she tells me
"Me too but by the way, where are you?"
"Oh i'm in my garden, i took advantage of the beautiful day to take care of my plants" she explains to me.
God she's so cute and beautiful and sweet and fuck, i love her.
"Baby i don't want you to get cold" i realize the way i called her but it's too late now, it's fucking impossible to be aloof with her.
I see her eyes sparkle at this and i wonder if it takes so little to make this effect to her then what does she feel for me?
"Oh uhm don't worry honey, would you like to see them?" she asks me
"Of course i want to see your little plants" to my answer a big smile appears on her face and so happy she goes to her garden.
She begins to tell me everything she has done, to explain the characteristics of each plant and how she takes care of them but even if i don't understand anything, i stay there to listen to her and admire her as if she were a work of art created by the best artist who may exist.
"Honey are you still listening?" she wakes me up
"Oh uhm yes ..." i lie
"That's not true" she says seriously but then smiles
"Sorry i got lost admiring you" i admit and she blushes.
A little too much?
"Oh ..." she's visibly embarrassed but this makes her even prettier.
"Maybe we should stop talking about plants" her voice suddenly changes, becomes more hoarse and deep... and sexy
"And let's hear Olsen, what should we do?" i ask playing her same game.
I see her go back into the house and go to her room.
"Wait, it's too hot in here" she says, taking off her hat and slowly melting her hair without breaking eye contact, then she takes off her sweater, remaining only with a tank top that leaves the cleavage of her boobs clearly visible and in doing all this, her phone too many times moves and ends up just framing that point.
"Mmm i don't know, we could have some fun, what do you think? It's been a while" she says but immediately what happened in the hotel comes to mind and she notices it from my expression.
"Sorry baby, i didn't mean to. I just miss you" she says, dressing up.
What does she really miss? Me or my body?
And anyway, why she moves away from me whenever we're close to doing something more intimate?
Yes it was me this time but only because i'm afraid she would reject me again as soon as she realized what she was doing.
"No uhm don't worry ... i ruined the moment right?"
"Oh nono, it's not your fault, i know i've to regain your trust again" a light floods my heart, i'm finally seeing an understanding Lizzie who takes her blame and somehow tries to recover the situation.
"Listen i was thinking, do you have lesson tomorrow?" she asks me
"Only in the morning, then i have all day off" i respond not understanding what is the point of her question.
"Perfect me too, what do you say then if we spend all day you and me alone? We could go for lunch and-"
"Wait Liz" i interrupt confused
"What?"
"Do you really want to go out for lunch with me?"
"Uhm yes, if you want, of course. Yeah we should be a little careful but i want to take this risk for you" she says giving me a soft smile.
"Well then i love the idea to spend the day with you" we both smile to each other
"Good and if you want we could go to my home later, you know we still have some private lessons to do me and you" she bites her lip and her eyes still sparkle, hoping this time i won't reject her.
Clearly i cannot continue to avoid the situation and among other things tomorrow i'll finally be able to find the right moment to tell her the whole truth.
She's taking a big step forward in exposing herself with me and i know it's hard for her and i appreciate it.
So it's right that i too take a step forward.
What is between her and me is no longer a simple friendship, maybe it never was and i'm sure she knows it too.
The time has come for both of us to let ourselves go to each other and finally live our long-suppressed feelings.
I feel that there is something between us and i want to live it, i want to be with her, to be happy with her.
Ours is not an easy situation, but i know that once we are honest with each other, we can go through it all together.
"Baby you're lost in your thoughts again" she says giggles.
"Sorry, it's just that... well there is something i would like to talk to you about for a while and i hope to be able to do it tomorrow" i say and look for an answer in her expression that makes me understand if it's actually the right time to talk.
I tremble with anxiety, my hands are sweaty and i feel my face on fire.
She looks at me for a few seconds and i can't feel anything, not even in her eyes.
"Oh okay ... i hope it's nothing serious" she says
"Oh no, i mean it should be a good thing actually" i explain and she nods
"In any case i'll be happy to listen you, i'm always there for you honey" to her answer i calm down and my hope for tomorrow grows more every minute. "So see you tomorrow?"
"See you tomorrow little bear"
"See you tomorrow baby" she gives me a kiss with her hand that makes me smile like a fool and then disconnects the video call.
Tomorrow will be the big day.
