After Todoroki froze the zero point robot, the large faux villain fell to the ground, resulting in an explosion of dust as it surrounds the area. The dust cloud then starts to clear up as some of the students realizes that someone was trapped under the robot.
U.A. Male Student #1 : Hey! Someone's trapped underneath!
U.A. Male Student #2 : Wouldn't that kill them?
U.A. Male Student #3 : Will people die at this sports festival?!
Suddenly, the top of zero point robot starts to crumble as the person who was underneath bursts out from the inside.
Kirishima : Like I'd die!
Present Mic : *through speakers* Kirishima from Class 1-A was underneath! That's crazy!
Kirishima : That bastard, Todoroki! He timed it on purpose so it'd be right when they fell! If it hadn't been me, someone would've died!
The zero point robot's armor then starts to crumble once again as there was another person who was trapped underneath, as they burst out of the robot.
Tetsutetsu : That Class A... really is filled with bastards!
Present Mic : *through speakers* Tetsutetsu from Class B was also underneath! That's crazy!
Tetsutetsu : If it hadn't been me, someone would've died!
Kirishima and Tetsutetsu then run up the zero point robot while tears well up Kirishima's eyes as he was frustrated that he and Tetsutetsu had similar Quirks.
Kirishima : Our Quirks are pretty much the same?! I have a hard enough time standing out as it is!
Tetsutetsu : Wait, you little--!
Kaminari : Those guys are lucky... They can get through without being afraid of getting crushed.
U.A. Male Student #4 : Anyway, let's work together for now to clear a path!
The U.A. students soon hear the sound of an explosion and then see Bakugo who was the cause of the sound flying over the robot.
Bakugo : ( Like I'd let you get ahead of me! )
The zero point robot then swings its fist at Bakugo but he quickly boosts himself out of the way of the attack and finally makes it on top of the robot.
Present Mic : *through speakers* Class 1-A's Bakugo! Since the bottom's blocked, he goes overhead! Clever!
Sero : You seem like you'd be the type to plow straight through, but you can go around when you need to, huh?
Bakugo then hears a familiar voice and turns around to see Sero and Tokoyami who were both using their Quirks to get over the robot just like he did. The other students then make their way through the obstacle course while using their Quirks to deal with the robots.
Meanwhile with Rex, he was riding his motorbike through the obstacle course while using his technokinesis on any robots that got in his way. The young hero then looks up and sees that there were even more zero point robots coming towards everyone.
Rex : Sorry, but no detours.
Rex then twists the handlebar of his machine and starts to gain even more speed as he was heading straight towards the robots.
Rex : I've got first place to catch!
As he was getting even closer to the faux villains, one of the robots throws a punch at him but he was able to evade it by switching to the Punk Busters and jumping straight up into the air and towards the robot.
The robot tries to swing its arm at Rex but he was able to dodge it by jumping off the robot's arm and landing on top of the robot. He then touches the robot's head and uses his technokinesis on the robot as blue streaks appear all over it, resulting in the robot shutting down.
The zero point villain then loses its balance and falls towards the ground as it knocks the other robots off balance, resulting in them falling as well as Rex jumps off the robot and switches back to the Rex Ride and continues to make his way forwards.
Present Mic : *through speakers* Hey, hey! The first barrier's a piece of cake? Then what about the second?
The EVO finally makes it to the second barrier of the obstacle course and sees something that absolutely shocked him.
Present Mic : *through speakers* If you fall, you're out! If you don't wanna fall, then crawl! It's "The Fall"!
Rex : When did they have the time to build this thing? We were only gone for two weeks!
Suddenly, a green blue then passes by Rex and starts to crawl on the ropes that in between the stone pillars. Rex then takes a closer look at who had passed him and saw that it was Tsuyu.
Tsuyu : This is like a glorified tight rope.
Rex : Tsu?
Ashido : *amazed* She's fast!
Ashido, Uraraka, and Rex then look over and sees that Todoroki was getting across the obstacle with his ice while Bakugo was boosting himself over with his explosion and was right on Todoroki's tail.
Rex : Can't waste time. *to Ashido & Uraraka* See ya!
Rex then switches from the Rex Ride and to the Boogie Pack as he hovers himself in the air and flies over to the entire obstacle.
Uraraka : *amazed* Rex is even faster!
Suddenly, the two then hear someone laughing from behind of them and turn around to see who it was.
??? : Glitter. Here it is! Here's my chance to show off! It's time for my support items to be in the limelight! Look, all you support companies across the country! Wire arrows and... hover soles! Glitter!
Uraraka : You're from the support course?
Ashido : What? It's okay to bring in items?
??? : The hero course undergoes combat training regularly, right? In order to keep things fair, we are allowed to equip items and costumes, as long as we developed them ourselves! Or perhaps should I say...
One of the support course student's wire arrows then shoots out as it stabs into one of the stone platforms.
??? : ...for those of use in the support course, this is the place where we can show off our ideas and skills to companies!
The support course student then activates her hover soles as he levitates herself in the air and dashes over to the edge and jumps off.
??? : Come, take a look, all you companies! Especially the big ones!
The support course student starts to fall down into the pit below, but presses a button as th wire arrow pulls her back up to the platform.
??? : Look at my super cute babies!
She then lands on the side of the stone pillar and heads up the pillar as the wire arrow was pulling up the platform. The support course student then boosts herself up into the air with her hover soles as she was sent up into the air while laughing.
Uraraka : ( Wow. That's so annoying... ) I can't lose!
Ashido : That's some misplaced equality!
Back with Rex, he finally makes it over the second obstacle and was now heading towards the third obstacle. He then lands on the ground and returns the Boogie Pack inside of his body as he looks around for the obstacle.
Rex : All right, I'm at the third obstacle. Where is the obstacle anyway?
Rex then takes one step forwards and the second he did then notices something glowing underneath him. He then looks down and saw that he had stepped one some sort of mine, as it explodes and sends him flying up into the air before he lands on the ground.
He then gets off of the ground and rubs his head as he realizes that he stepped on a mine.
Rex : They have mines, too?!
Present Mic : *through speakers* By the way, these landmines are for games, so they're not that powerful, but they're loud and flashy enough to make you wet your pants!
Rex : ( Then that means that it would put whoever was in first place at a disadvantage. Are they trying to make it entertaining? )
More students were starting to run past Rex as they were heading into the minefield. Rex then gets an idea after he thinks about what Present Mic had just said about the landmines.
The EVO then crouches down near the ground and uses his technokinesis as he immediately learned where all of the landmines were. The students who were ahead tried to avoid the mines as best as possible, then suddenly see that the landmines were starting to glow.
A few seconds after, the landmines then go off and explode creating a large blast that goes through the area. Suddenly out from the cloud of pink smoke emerges Rex who was flying across the minefield with the Boogie Pack.
Rex : Sorry about that! It's not personal!
U.A. Female Student : You hero course students are such jerks!
Rex : Great... I'm in second place for the most hated guy in the whole school.
While Rex was flying forwards he looks back and notices that Midoriya was at the back and was using a piece of the robot's armor and was digging.
Rex : ( What is Midoriya doing? )
He doesn't have any time to think about what he was trying to do and continues to fly forwards as he then soon sees two figure in front of him. Rex sees Bakugo and Todoroki, who were both in the lead as they were fighting for first place.
Rex : You two have enough room for me?
The two then look behind of them and see Rex who was right on their tails.
Bakugo : Scrap metal bastard!
Present Mic : *through speakers* And now, we've got someone new in the lead! Rejoice, mass media! It's the kind of development you guys love!
Bakugo then attacks Rex with one of his explosions, but Rex reacts quickly to the incoming attack by boosting himself over the attack and falls towards the ground. He lands on the ground and tries to sweep Todoroki's leg, but he dodges before reaching his hand to Rex.
He then successfully grabs onto Rex and tries to freeze him, but Rex breaks out of Todoroki's grip. The three continue to fight each other for first place when they suddenly hear a loud explosion from all the way at the back.
Present Mic : *through speakers* There's a huge explosion at the back?! What's with that force?!
Bakugo, Rex, and Todoroki then look back and saw something flying towards them as it was revealed to be Midoriya.
Present Mic : *through speakers* Was it an accident, or did he do it on purpose? Class A's Midorya is in hot pursuit with that blast!
Midoriya, who was riding the force of the landmine blast then flies past Rex, Todoroki, and Bakugo as all three of then chase after him.
Bakugo : Deku! Don't go ahead of me!
Present Mic : *through speakers* The three formerly in the lead have stopped trying to slow each other down and are chasing after Midoriya! Now that they have a common enemy, they've stopped fighting! The fight's not over yet, though!
The three of them continue to chase after Midoriyw who was starting to lose his speed. Right as the three were about to pass him, Midoriya strengthens his grip on the robot armor and lands on top of Rex's shoulders and slams it into the ground, resulting in more mines being set off.
Midoriya then rolls on the ground to stop his velocity and without any time to waste, runs towards the stadium as Rex, Bakugo, and Todoroki were still chasing after him.

At the stadium, then audience was waiting for the student in first place to appear.
Present Mic : *through speakers* U.A. Sports Festival, first-year stage! Who could've predicted the developments at the beginning or this conclusion? Right now, the first person back in the stadium is that man...
Present Mic : *through speakers* Izuku Midoriya's made a huge splash!
The audience begins to cheer for Midoriya as the rest of the students start appearing in the stadium. Rex appears in the stadium right after Bakugo and Todoroki as his machine disappears and he rest his hands on his knees while trying to catch his breath as the rest of the students appeared.
Midnight : The first game of the first-year stage is finally over. Now, let's take a look at the results!
The screen behind of Midnight then shows the results of the obstacle course race. Midoriya came first, Todoroki came second, Bakugo came third, and Rex came fourth.
Midnight : The top 42 made it through to the next round. It's unfortunate, but don't worry even if you didn't make it! We've prepared other chances for you to shine. The real competition begins next! The press cavalry'll be all over it! Give it your all!
The screen behind the R-Rated hero then goes back to the randomizer and starts to spin.
Midnight : Now then, here is the second game. I already know what it is, but what could it be? What could it be? I just said it, and now here it is...
Kaminari : A cavalry battle? I'm bad at those...
Tsuyu : It's not an individual event, so I wonder how it'll work...
Midnight : Let me explain. The participants can form teams of two to four people as they wish. It's basically the same as a regular cavalry battle, but the one thing that's different is... based on the results of the last game, each person has been assigned a point value.
Rex : A point based system like the entrance exam, huh? That's easy to understand.
Uraraka : In other words, each team is worth different points depending on who's on the team!
Ashido : I see!
Midnight : *snaps whip annoyed* You guys don't hold back even though I'm talking, huh?! Yes, That's right! And the points assigned go up by five starting from the bottom. So 42nd place gets five points and 41st gets ten points! And the point value assigned to first place is... ten million!
Midoriya : T-Ten million?!
Shinso : ( Ten million, huh? )
Hatsume : In other words, if you take down the first place player's team...
Everyone : ( ...you can stand at the top no matter what place you're in! )
Midnight : That's right. It's survival of the fittest, with a chance for those at the bottom overthrow the top! Now, I'll explain the rules. The time limit is 15 minutes. Each team member is worth the total points of its members and the riders will wear a headband with that number on their forehead. Teams will try and grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many points as they can. Stolen headbands must be worn from the neck up. So the more you steal, the harder it'll be to manage them! And the most important thing is that even if your headband gets stolen, or if your team falls, you're not out!
Yaoyorozu : Which means...
Rex : Since there's gonna be 42 people, there will be ten or twelve team on the field at the same time.
Aoyama : That's tough.
Ashido : One strategy could be to let someone take your points first s you'll be more free.
Tsuyu : It's hard to say without seeing how all the points end up getting split up, Mina.
Midnight : During the game, it'll be a cruel fight where you can use you Quirks. But it's still a cavalry battle. You'll get a red card for attacks that are trying to make people fall on purpose! You'll be removed immediately!
Bakugo : Damn.
Midnight : Now, you have 15 minutes to build your teams. Start!
Everyone then starts to form their own teams, as for Midoriya, he was looking for one last person to join his team after getting Uraraka and a support course student named Hatsume on his team.
Midoriya : ( Not being able to be on a team with Iida was a blow, but with Hatsume and Uraraka... I just need one more person. It looks like everyone's pretty set on their teams already, huh? No, that's fine. The power our team's missing... The one who can fill that spot is... )
Midoriya then looks around to see if he could find the person that he needed on his team when he finally found him.
Uraraka : Deku?
Midoriya then goes over to the person and taps them on the shoulder as it was revealed that this person the wielder of One For All needed was Rex who was talking to Ashido.
Rex : Hm? Oh, Midoriya, what's up?
Midoriya : Rex, please be on our team!
Rex : You want me on your team? Hmm... You did manage to get first place and snag the one million. Sure. I'll be apart of your team.
Ashido : What?! You were supposed to be on my team!
Rex : Sorry, sorry. You can ask Bakugo, though. I don't think he has all four people yet.
Ashido then walks away from Rex and goes over to Bakugo to see if she could join his team while Midoriya was explaining to Rex his role on the team.
Rex : You want me to be your defense?
Midoriya : In short, yes. You have a multi-purpose power so people like you and Kacchan would be the first ones our classmates would want on their teams. With your builds, you give us the type of advantage most other teams wouldn't have under normal circumstances.
Rex : I get it. Defense isn't really my thing, but I can roll with it for now.
Midoriya : Thank you very much!
[ Time Skip ]
The timer on the screen finally hits zero, notifying all the students that the 15 minutes were now up.
Midnight : Now, let's get everything started!
Present Mic : *through speakers* After fifteen minutes to form teams and talk strategy, twelve cavalry teams are lined up on the field! Now, raise those battle cries! It's time for U.A. bloody battle! Light the signal fire!
Midoriya was the rider for the cavalry battle as he ties the ten million point headband around his head as Uraraka was on his left, Hatsume was on his right, and Rex was at the front.
Midoriya : Uraraka!
Uraraka : Yes!
Midoriya : Hatsume!
Hatsume responds by chuckling.
Midoriya : Rex!
Rex : Yeah.
Midoriya : I'm counting on you!
