Kai's POV
After talking with Sera, My boyfriend Shinichi called me out to talk for a bit then We distanced away from Sera, Haibara, Hakase and Subaru.
"Kai-chan, I need your help to assist Akai-san and me to keep Haibara away from Sera and her mother." Shinichi asked his favor to me
My detective boyfriend explained about what happened from Akai-san told him about his mother who is desperately waiting outside for Sera to steal Haibara from them by catching her true identity.
"I see that's why Akai-san told you about that."
"Yes, Akai's fake identity may be risky to exposed outside in front of Sera and her mother that's why we have to come up with plan to keep them away from him.
"Alright, Tantei-kun, I will do it for you."
Then, Akai and Hakase joined our conversation then Akai began discussing us "I had told Jodie and Camel ready to take action if necessary happens"
"Okay, Let's discuss about the plan.." Shinichi, Akai, Hakase and I still continue to discuss privately about our strategy in protecting Haibara from Sera and her mother
Haibara's POV
Meanwhile..
I was very aware of Sera coming after my true identity this after I saw Sera outside but my eyes caught attention that there's someone who was with Sera outside revealed to be Akai-niisan's mother, Aunt Mary before Kudo and Kuroba came to Hakase's house that's why I had them entered the back door that is to avoid discovering their identities from them but I don't understand why her body was shrunken just like us.
"How did Aunt Mary shrunk her body just like us?" I expressed my serious thought about Mary
After that, I did listening Kudo-kun's conversation with Akai-san about his mother who was outside waiting for tomboy detective in catching my true identity and discussing about their plan in ways to prevent them.
"I guess I have no choice but to avoid Sera from catching my true identity and protect Akai-niisan's fake identity"
I recalled what Akai-niisan told me about his family except Shukichi-niisan didn't know about his fake identity after his fake death.
"Ai-chan, Let's go to have a private girlie talks" Tomboy detective Sera grabbed my hand to distance away from Akai, Kudo, Kuroba and Hakase to reach the living room near the couch.
We both sat down on the couch then Sera coughed as soon as she started to get serious while talking to me "Let's get to the point so stop acting like you're child. Is this right, Shiho-chan?"
I was in deep shocked but calm from being nerves so I decided to keep my poker face to avoid caught from Sera.
"Excuse me, What are you talking about?" I continued while calming down from shocking
"Oh.. you seems to be smart but how come you speak well-mannered while playing out as a innocent child like you, then no more hide yourself. I had someone waiting for you."
"Tsk.. you seems to be impatient as ever" I was about to leave Sera in trying to reach out to Kudo
Sera's POV
"Hehehe.. It's a long way to go" I mumbled myself while facepalmed.
As soon as I got my phone to call my mother to explain about trying to put Haibara to sleep and get her outside seems impossible.
"Is there anyone inteferred with you?" Mary asked me if anyone is with us.
"Yes.. there's someone named Subaru." I responded her
"Alright, I have no other opinion but to show up in Hakase's house to demand them to bring her back and flee out of this country to take care of her."
"Are you serious? What if Shinichi-kun knows your identity?"
"I don't care as long as he got to know everything of my true identity then John will give sleeping gas that will knock them out"
"Okay mama.. I'll wait for you" I replied as soon as the call ended.
I sighed myself knowing my mother's idea would be bad if they were discovered by someone either FBI or not.
Mary Sera's POV (Masumi's Mom)
After I gave my idea to Sera through phone call, I figured that John seems to disagree with my idea knowing someone is with them may be FBI or not.
"Let's go to ambush Hakase's house"
"A-Are you sure about this?" John seems to be disappoint with my idea.
"I don't have time to stay too long to wait for them"
"Fine. I have a sleeping gas to be ready"
"Good! Let's go now" We started heading to Hakase's residence but cautious around Kudo's Mansion being monitored on us.
3rd Person's POV
Meanwhile in Hakase's Residence
When Sera was still alone in living room, Akai received a quick call from Jodie who monitored outside Hakase's residence alerted them that Mary Sera and her subordinate is coming on the way of Hakase's house and saw what inside is Sleeping Gas.
"Okay thank you! Jodie. Go with Yuki and Camel and Come through the back door. Remember I told you before" Akai immediately ended the call after her response was ok to him
"They are about to start their big move and they have a sleeping gas on the hand" Akai told the shrunken boys, Haibara and Hakase in a serious look
"I have some mini gas masks with me. I will get it for you." Hakase went to kitchen to get mini gas mask then gave them.
"Wow, I didn't know you kept it for long time" Haibara commented
"Yes. For emergency situation like dangerous mission like that. I helped Shinichi-kun sometimes" Hakase gave gas mask to them
As soon as they managed to put it on pocket quickly. Suddenly, Sera stood up to reveal that she betrayed her promise with Shinichi.
"How dare you say that?" Shinichi was furious upon hearing Sera's words giving him surprise truth but was still held him on by his boyfriend and Haibara.
"Sorry but it's my mama's order to bring Haibara to flee with us in UK"
"Then, what's the reason for bringing Haibara back" Subaru questioned her about Haibara
"It's none of your business then why were you here for what?" Sera began asking Subaru with her immature attitude
"I am not surprised that your attitude seems immature" Subaru replied back to her
As soon as John broke the door to let Mary Sera finally show up in front of them "See what my daughter had to say. Bring her back to us!" - Mary smirked.
"No!" Haibara yelled back to Mary who was disappointed of what she replied.
"How dare you say that to me! I'm your Aunt? I know you are Shiho Miyano" which gave Haibara a shocking face.
"That's enough!" Subaru removed his disguise and switched back to original voice to reveal his true identity in front of his mother and Sera.
Subaru's removal disguise shocked to John, Mary Sera and her daughter Masumi
"Mama, Sera-chan, Don't ever ask us to hand Haibara over to you? This is my mission to protect her" Akai made a serious decision to protect Haibara while giving a stern look at them
(This is how Akai's face looks like)
"Is that you.. Shu-nii?" Sera was speechless upon seeing Subaru turned out to be Akai all along and thinking he was dead.
"I see.. Shuichi, I can't believe this! You were covering your identity to protect Haibara but I'm sorry this is my decision to bring her back to UK. she might be risky of her life to stay in Japan. I want to help her as much as possible" Mary argued back to her son
"Stop that! Aunt Mary, I don't want to go UK with you. Akai-niisan worked very hard to take care for me even though we are at short or long distance because we are very aware and cautious around us so I helped Kudo-kun, Kaito Kid, and the FBI to battle against them so I stood up for them" Haibara in turn spoke up to her.
"I see you are after Haibara because you thought She may have an antidote to cure your real form back. Is that right?" Shinichi continued the conversation
"Sigh.. yeah, I want my real form back so that I can defeat Black Organization" - Mary finally admitted her defeat what she heard from Shinichi said.
"It's not possible for you to defeat them because we found very powerful enemy named Rum and another boss" Jodie showed up to answer back to Mary with her colleagues
"I see. The FBI Agents are here" Mary assumed that they are from FBI.
When Yukiko and Yusaku made a surprise visit then joined FBI Agents to beg Mary to settle down and have a long talk with them.
"When did you get back to Japan" Shinichi asked his parents.
"Sorry Shin-chan, When we returned back to Japan to tell you that we are done working from abroad and living with you forever but I learned from Yuki-kun and Jodie-sensei told me that you guys are in trouble in Hakase's house" Yukiko replied back to Shinichi's question
"Jeez, I really hate surprise visit 😑" Shinichi mumbled
"Hi! I'm Yusaku Kudo, I believe you are Mary Sera, I heard from your son, Akai-kun so My wife Yukiko, Akai-kun, one agent from PSB and I would like to inquire with you to cooperate your intelligence bureau from M16 for helping us to battle against the enemy." - Yusaku asked Mary.
"Ma'am, What should we do?" John asked Mary if Yusaku asked us for cooperation.
"Alright.. I gave up to bring Haibara back. Once I'm done discussing with Kudo Couple then Haibara, Shuichi and Shinichi can come with me to talk." Mary finally agreed to go with Kudo Couple but she asked Haibara, Shuichi and Shinichi to talk later.
As soon as Mary ordered John to guard the house however they apologized Hakase for breaking the door and will cover the payment of damaged door so he accepted and told them that he didn't mind breaking the door and assured it would be fine for him.
As soon as Mary left Hakase's house and went to Kudo's Mansion to discuss with Kudo Couple, FBI and One agent from PSB.
Few hours later...
Mary came back from Kudo's Mansion to call Haibara, Shuichi, Shinichi and even Kai to talk as soon as they all sit down on the sofa while Hakase prepared some hot drinks like coffee and tea for them to put on the table.
"Ma, Please try to understand why I've been in Japan for long time to protect them" Akai begged Mary to understand his situation
"Fine.. I forgave you but I didn't know why you faked death to protect others and gave new identity"
"Because of the Organization, They were aware of my original plan in order to return Kir back to them. They asked Kir to shot down using fake death technique plan so I became Subaru Okiya with the help from others"
"Okay I understand, Let me help you with my power and cooperate from M16 to deliver some info for you" Mary
"Aunt Mary, How did you ended up with your shrunken body?" Haibara in turn asked her in curious look
"Because of Vermouth, She was aware of my husband's death so she disguised as himself to trap me by killing through poison"
"I see.. he must have connected with Haneda's 17 years ago case" Shinichi
"Yes.. he died while on duty before Masumi gave birth" She said in a sad look
"It's true, I was once against Shuichi for becoming FBI Agent to solve my husband's case"
"Its very difficult to find how he died while on duty during Haneda's investigation case."
"Sorry mama, I know how you feel but-"
"It's okay son. I will help you all I want if you need anything"
Shuichi smiled and knew how Mama can be strong and sometimes mourned over her husband's death would be held grudge against them.
"Shinichi, I'm sure you might be remembering me when we met 10 years ago."
"Yeah it's been a while. Aunt Mary"
"And who might that kid with Shinichi?"
"Well you see, He's Kaito Kid" Masumi revealed Kid's true identity to Mary
"Wow.. I didn't know you were shrunken like that?" Mary was surprised to learn that Kid was shrunken"
"Yay!! Kai met Mama!!!!" Masumi was happy but childish kid to play with Kaito.
We all laughed each other what Masumi said then Mary introduced John to Akai, Shrunken Chibi Boys and Haibara then Mary conversed with Haibara, Shinichi, Kai, and Masumi about their personal life and thinking of future plan how we can battle against them and sharing information about Haneda's case soon.
Finally, Mary and Shuichi settled down with the issues from the past and is now turned ally to Shinichi's group.
