Im finally off of work , im On my way to Trey house to pick up Mari and take her to get food,

When I got out the shower Mari had fell asleep I got my phone off the charger and seen king texted me

We all got in the car Mari made jokes the whole car ride making us laugh. I seen king pull up to the ice cream spot and we got out

I stop eating my ice cream cause how da fuck "H-How do you even kno that" I tilted my head. He look over at Mari damn she just out here telling my business

"I'm not doing this with you can you please take us home" I asked and he stood up picking up Mari walking out
"Lord fix that child he really need you " I mumbled
We all got in the car and king pulled off I looked out the window thinking till I fell asleep
2 Hours later
I woke up looking around at this unfamiliar room then I seen Mari laying next to me I kissed her cheek then got up I walked out the room and seen stairs so I walked down them.
King was sitting on the couch smoking scrolling on his phone
"King I asked you to take us home" I said sitting down on the couch
"Mhmm " He said looking at me with low red eyes like he was thinking
"Mora you changed since I've met you. You look depressed n tired , you good ma" he said still looking at me I'm trying my hardest not to cry in front of him
Every time somebody asks me if "I'm good" or "are you okay" my crybaby ass get to crying get it together mora
"Nothing king im fine"I mumble
" when I was hurting and people asked me , am I okay or what's going on I said that knowing damn well I was hurting" He told me I couldn't hold it in anymore I started crying
"I'm just tired king I do everything on my own I'm so stressed I'm alone I have nobody to give me guidance or anything" I said looking down
"Come hea"He said I got up and sat by him and he hugged me
" you not alone mora you got Trey , liyah , me , and the rest of the gang we all stand by you we'll help with whatever you need give yourself a break ma you only 19 you moving to fast slow down everything gone fall into place for you"he said holding my face and I nodded
"Thank you king I really needed that reassurance" I said hugging him it was silent until I spoke again
"King" I said laying on him
"Hmm"he said with his eyes closed
"What's your real name" I asked
"You being fed ma"he said now looking at me
"No I just wanna know "I told him
"Rodney" he said
"Ouuuu I like that" I said
"Don't do too much now " he said
"Rodneyyyyyy" I laughed
"Whats yours ma" he asked

"Now go to sleep ma" he said rubbing my back
