I walk into the passage for the first time, and I put my hand on my belly protectively to feel safe. Daeron gave me a map of secret tunnels. The Red Keep and Aegon's High Hill have a network of secret passages and tunnels.
King Maegor I Targaryen had them built to enable him to make a quick escape should his enemies ever trap him. The tunnels are supposedly full of traps. Some tunnels are of stone, while others are earth-supported by timbers.
Some of them are so small that a grown man must crawl through them. Some pass close to other rooms in the Red Keep, allowing a hidden person to eavesdrop on conversations.
The bedchamber used by Lord Varys contains a mechanism that causes his stone slab of a bed to float up and reveal a hidden staircase. One secret passage leads from the bedchamber of the Tower of the Hand to the chamber of the dragon mosaic below.
There is also a secret way to get out of the Red Keep onto the cliffs facing the sea. Narrow handholds, impossible to see from the ground, have been cut into the rock so one may climb down to a trail beside the Blackwater Rush.
Another passage out of the Red Keep leads to a sewer that empties into the river. Maegor's Holdfast is the only Red Keep building with no secret passages, as Maegor "wanted no rats in his own walls", except for one escape door that does not connect to any other passage in the Red Keep.
People familiar with the secret passages include Maegor, Cheese, Prince Daemon, Lord Larys Strong, Princess Rhaenyra, Prince Daeron, Lord Varys and his little birds, and Lord Petyr Baelish. And now me.
The passages are so dark only light from my torch, Daeron leaving to Driftmark but he asked to see me. I look up at the stairs leading up and look at the map, I arrive at the basement where the old dungeons and dragons' bones are.
Daeron smiles "You came in time"
I sigh looking around "What do you want in the middle of the night, Daeron?"
Daeron approaches me "I am leaving, you have a chance to leave with me"
I stare at him "With your wife and daughter to run away from my husband"
"You do not love him, we love each other and___"
I stop him "And what?? betray our partners?!! the people we gave oath we will honor them"
Daeron sighs "Lyanna, I asked your father before and he refused__"
I shout "You feeling guilty?!!"
Daeron snaps "I am here because I love you" I wince in pain putting my hand on my belly, Daeron stares at me "You are with child"
I take a deep breath "You are being emotional" I look around "It is understandable but unnecessary" Daeron looks down "Stay unemotional"
Daeron nods "Lyanna__"
"You told me that before remember"
Flashback, In the middle of the night, I sneak into Daeron's room. I close the door quite behind me. Daeron hugs me from behind "I got you"
I giggle "Tomas"
Daeron turns me around and puts his arms around me "Look who came late"
I smile "I have to make sure Father goes to sleep because he may behead us"
Daeron chuckles "Well" I sit on the bed "What happened this morning?"
I sigh "I asked Father to travel to King's Landing and he refused and I do not even know why he did, he always let me go to the old town with you"
Daeron sits next to me "What will you do there?"
"I want to go the maesters there and the best soldiers learn from the city watch and the king's guard"
Daeron smiles "We can send you to the citadel, it's safer than King's Landing" I nod sadly "What is wrong? I will talk to Lord Stark"
I look at him "I want to go away, I want to see all of Westeros and after that what after the narrow sea and the mystery lands, I want to see the world, Tomas"
Daeron smiles "You will see all of that" looking into my eyes "With me"
I blush "Tomas" Daeron smiles at me "I want to have a life with you, let us marry and do all of that together"
Daeron looks around with a serious tone "You are being emotional" My smile fades and he looks at me "It is understandable but unnecessary"
"What does that mean?"
"Everything in his time, Lyanna"
Back to us, Daeron sighs with regret "I remember"
I shake my head "I love you, Daeron but my child will be raised with his father and in a loving family like you said he is a good man and I know he will honour me"

It's dawn, I'm sitting on the steps outside the castle. I'm crying, I don't know why but I can't stop. Larissa walks out and looks to the right finding me, she sits next to me "Lyanna" I sigh "May I ask what bothers you?"
I shake my head "No" I sob more "Yes"
"So tell me"
"Am I not enough for anyone"
Larissa approaches me "Look at me" I face her "You're worthy to your family, Me, my husband, and even our little Daella" she holds my hand "Who said that to you"
"I'm with child and I have to get rid of him when the sunrise cause his father can't be a father"

"Yes, you know why I married him" she shakes her head "Because I heard Jon talking to Uncle Benjen telling him to take the black and I think if he goes I will be alone forever and I always feel safe with Jon"
"And you felt is with Jaime"
I nod "Strange man I felt safe with him, Am I mad"
"I had a childhood friend, he was my first kiss, and I felt like loving him" smiles "I meet my husband at a feast but when I look at him, Gods, I never felt this way"

"Yes, safe. I couldn't do it feel it with the other man and decided to know this charming guy more, I married him after a year and the war began" sighs "My husband has to run and start a new life and I never stayed with him at the same place until this month"

Meanwhile, in the courtyard, Jaime is hitting a training doll hard. Daeron approaches him "He is dead, Jaime"
Jaime sighs "I want to clean my mind"
Daeron sits and watches Jaime continue hitting it until it breaks three pieces "Well he is dead dead dead"
Jaime sits next to him "Not funny"
"Wedding problem, I can give you my experience"
"Seventeen years and you only stayed with her two months"
"Well great married, Larissa is a warrior strong woman. I fucked up everything every time all these years and she fixes it easily and the great gift is Daella" Jaime looks at him "A lot of things happened in Winterfell but deep down me I realize that I need her and my daughter like they give me straightness"
"You're not the same old guy who only thinks of girls who will sleep and fuck. who men will fight in the training"
"I saw people I care about die, man" looks around "I came yesterday and I can't stay one more hour here" sighs "So What's your problem?"

"Your ego" Jaime nods "You gonna survive but I need you to know, I have a chance With Larissa and Daella cause of Lyanna and you have a chance with her to start fresh as nothing happens" patting his shoulder "There is no man like you, friend" lower his voice "the guards didn't take me yet" he stands and walk away and turns to him "Remember the old dream"
"Yes"
"The harp will play it soon so find a singer for me"

Lyanna POV
In the courtyard, Cheering crowds line both sides of the jousting track as Ser Gregor Clegane (The Mountain) rides down the lane, stops in front of the King's stand, opens his helmet, and bows. A tier down from the King's left, Ned is seated next to his daughter, Sansa Stark. Littlefinger (Petyr Baelish) sits directly behind them next to me and Larissa.
Ned asks "Where's Arya?"
I answer "At her dancing lessons."
Sansa looks up at the jousting track "The Knight of the Flowers" Ser Loras Tyrell, who rides up to Sansa and hands her a rose "Thank you, Ser Loras." He nods toward Sansa.
Larissa smiles "He is handsome"
I argue "Our husbands are handsome more than him"
"He kicked Jaime's ass last year"
"Really?"
"Yeah"
Loras exchanges a secretive look with the King's brother, Renly Baratheon, who is seated higher up. Then he rides over and joins his opponent, Gregor in front of the King's stand.
Gregor's horse becomes skittish and both men ride off in opposite directions toward the ends of the jousting track.
Sansa grabs her father's arm "Don't let Ser Gregor hurt him."
Ned pats her hand "Hey."
"I can't watch."
Little Finger turned around and spoke to Renly "100 gold dragons on the Mountain."
Renly says "I'll take that bet."
Littlefinger says "Now what will I buy with 100 gold dragons? A dozen barrels of Dornish wine? Or a girl from the pleasure houses of Lys?"
"Or you could even buy a friend."
Sansa to Ned "He's going to die."
Ned says "Ser Loras rides well."
The trumpet sounds and both jousters ride toward one another. Loras' lance breaks upon Gregor's shield and knocks Gregor down to the ground.
Renly jumps up laughing and clapping "Such a shame, Littlefinger. It would have been so nice for you to have a friend."
Little finger says "And tell me, Lord Renly, when will you be having your friend?" Indicating Loras, I share a look with Larissa. Little Finger leans forward, speaking to me and her "Loras knew his mare was in heat. Quite crafty, really."
Sansa heard us "Ser Loras would never do that! There's no honor in tricks."
Little Finger says "No honor but quite a bit of gold."
Gregor rises from the ground, rips off his helmet, and shouts for his sword. Gregor grabs the sword from his squire and with one mighty stroke, severs his horse's head.
Shocked, the crowd grows quiet. Then Gregor storms over to Loras knocks him off of his horse and strikes with his sword. Loras' shield protects him from the blows.
Sandor Clegane (The Hound) roars, "Leave him be!"
Drawing his own sword, The Hound jumps down from the King's stand and engages his brother, Gregor in a sword fight.
King Robert rising shouts "Stop this madness in the name of your King!"
The Hound drops to his knee and bows his head, while Gregor's blade slices the air where The Hound's head was just seconds ago. Gregor throws down his sword and stomps off through the crowd.
Loras approaches Sandor the Hound "I owe you my life, Ser."
Sandor says "I'm no Ser."
Loras grabs Sandor's left hand with his right and raises both in the air to the cheers of a standing ovation.
Larissa says "Just as in old times" She points at Jaime and Daeron who standing and talking share looks with us "I don't know how your husband didn't recognize him"
I say "Because your husband met him twice" I and Larissa stand and head outside "They were friends"
"Father-in-law took Jaime from Tywin when he was young and was the only man who was nice to Jaime here with Harwin, the three of them were mates"
I nod "Your husband and his brother"
"You have to know your husband well"
"I know him"
"No you know stories about him people say not from him, I know everything about my husband" I nod "Even your hot kisses, sneaking into your room" She left me.
I follow her "You okay with that"
"Of course I am, you were with him not me, and in the end, you told him to back to me" I stare at her "I love him, Lyanna, I will forgive him, and choose him over and over, I told him to start fresh together for us and our daughter"
I give her a look "So you're the most madness or smarter woman"

In our chamber, I'm sitting on the floor petting Snow "So tell me, Snow should I drink or not" Snow looks at me and wipes her fur on my dress "I know I'm sad but do really I love him?" sigh "I know him three months ago"
Gwen and Laela get in. Gwen holds a cup in her hand "Here"
Laela sighs "Lyanna"
I nod at them and she puts it on the table.
Gwen asks "You ready?"
I wonder "Is that going to hurt?"
"I don't know"
Laela nods "Cramps because the bleeding"
I look at the cup "I wish Jon was her"
Gwen snaps "Well you can keep this babe if you want, go and tell him that, I never saw you in a weak position like that, you don't want to drink it, Don't for gods sake, Lyanna"
Laela nods "I have a bastard son and I never give up on him. So you can raise him alone because you will regret it in the future"
I take the cup with a deep breath "This child doesn't deserve us" Jaime opens the door and gets in. I put the cup on the table and look at him "Don't you have a duty now?"
Jaime looks at Gwen and Laela " Could you leave us alone" She nods "There is a thing the guards will give it to you so bring it"
Gwen says "Yes, Ser Jaime" They leave and close the door.
I turn to look at the cup.
Jaime asks "You drink it?"
"I will now, pour wine to you, and let's make a toast"
Jaime puts his hands on my cheeks "Lyanna" his left hand still on my cheek while the right takes the cup and pours it onto the table "You won't drink this thing"
Jaime grabs my face kissing me roughly, I pull apart staring at him "I need this babe from you"
"What?" I smile "What changed your mind?"
"You" he smiles "I need to be with you" he puts his hand on my belly "And him or her" Our fingers intertwined "I got scared, I'll be more responsible, I have to stay alive to see him born and his first-time talk and walking and his first time train how to fight with a sword" he smiles "New feelings for me and I want to experience it with you"
"The Lannister lion will have a cub"
"What can wolf and Lion do?"
I stare at him and think What can dragon and lion do? I smile "Maybe a powerful man like his father or a wild girl like me"
"I prefer the wild girl" I smile and he leans and kisses me "I'm sorry about everything"
"Apologise accepted"
"I need my reward"
"What?"
Jaime whispers in my ear "That silk dress"
I whisper "As you wish" I put my hand around his neck "You gonna be an amazing father, Jaime"
"We'll try it together" We start to kiss but we hear a knock "Gwen ruins every time we do it"
I laugh "Come in"
Gwen and Laela push a huge something under the sheets. Gwen groans "That heavy thing"
Laela groans too "I know"
I ask "What is that?"
Jaime smiles "A gift" They leave the room. Jaime takes off the sheets "That's was Rheagar's harp"
I smile "It's beautiful" I touch it and the dragon on it "I have never seen a beautiful harp like this before"
"Well, there is an old dream to me and Daeron and we said one day this harp will play a song about that dream"
"What dream?"
"We can't say it here" I nod "Daeron told me to find a singer who will sing this song for us" he smiles "You will play on this harp and sing the song"
I smirk "Gladly" I play with his collar "Can we forget that song now"
Jaime pushes me to the bed and puts himself on top of me and whispers "As you wish dear wife"
I giggle as he starts to kiss my neck... I know what song, A Song of Ice and Fire...
