"Honestly, what was captain Vangeance thinking when picking you two?"
There was silence between the three, four eyes had already lead the noble to his room, now he's here with the two 'commoners', at least that's what the noble describe them. [Name] why he was being so rude, he's not even a commoner himself. But nobody know about that anyway, he's not from here and he wouldn't want to expose himself to other people that he's not even a human.
He ignore the man's complain about their existence, he tried to talk to the kids to know more about the Golden Dawn. By muttering and hoping that the two people in front of him won't hear him talking to nobody.
"So, can you guys tell me more about the Golden Dawn?"
"The squad is currently regarded as the best and the strongest among the nine squads of the order of the Magic Knights, all I can say is that they're the best of the best.."
"..I see."
'That's all? All I need to know is that the Golden Dawn is the best out of the nine squad? There's no way that's it, there must be a backstory to it at least. But what do I expect anyway? These kids probably know them as the strongest and don't even know the squad's backstory or something..I shouldn't judge.'
"And come to think of it, you look quite familiar."
Four eyes says before he stop in his tracks, the two of them also stopped, staring at him confusedly.
"[Name] was it? You look like the former Magic Knight that used to be a part of the Golden Dawn two years ago."
"Huh..? Oh, that's..Odd."
"He's a very respectful man, you know. He was the second respectful person I know aside from captain Vangeance."
Four eyes said before sighing, he turn around to look at them, the frown was still on his face.
"This will be your room, make sure to keep everything in places and do not make a mess. This is Yuno's and this is [Name]'s."
The two nod, Yuno went ahead and enter his room, while [Name] stayed behind, trying to talk to four eyes about something.
"Uhm..What's your name again?"
"..Klaus Lunettes."
"Ah, yes, Klaus..Hey, uhm, who's the guy you were talking about earlier? A guy that looks familiar to me?"
"Don't try to talk to me as if we're in the same level. Stay in your room-"
"You know what, forget that I ask."
[Name] roll his eyes and enter his room, leaving a dumbfounded Klaus outside. Four eyes scoff,
'How dare he speak to me like that! Gosh, I'll make sure I teach him a lesson one day...Getting so cocky because captain Vangeance raising his hand for him. Tch.'

"Oh my God! We actually did it, Ace!"
"It's not easy, you know."
[Name] took a deep breath and sat on the bed as he watch the kids plays with anything in their new room. He's exhausted. He didn't think it would be that hard to get into the Magic Knights..But the way is just to have a strong magic. And he has that. Really glad he did.
It wasn't easy, but it was worth it....For the kids.
"Now, we just have to wait for you to get your first mission! I'm so excited to see people's expression when they see your magic!!"
Ashley said happily and start jumping up and down, followed by Ace. [Name] couldn't help but smile at their happiness, even though he doesn't know what their goal is. He knew he couldn't just join the Magic Knights for the kids, he's doing it for himself too, with the kids help of course..After all, he's not a human like them..
And he doesn't even know how he end up here anyway, in the human world, he only remember he used to live in a Kingdom...He doesn't remember why or how he got here in the first place. His last memory was him falling from the dark sky.
But that ended, and he's stuck with these random kids he have to protect and take care, cause they're his responsibility now. He have to thank them for helping him get into the Magic Knights.

There was a knock on [Name]'s door, to which he was startled by it. He told Ashley and Ace to hide, which they did. He got up from the bed and went over to opened the door, there stood a green hair male in front of him, holding a clothes in his hand.Just as [Name] about to greet him, the man interrupted,
"I don't have time to chat with you, I'm only bringing you this because captain Vangeance said so." The male scoff and rudely gave the older the clothes and walk away. [Name] sigh and close the door,
"What's that?"
Ashley and Ace come out from their hideout as they were curious to what [Name] was holding, they both gasped loudly when they saw the clothes.
"The Golden Dawn's uniform and robe! Woah!"
Ashley exclaimed in excitement, she was quick to tell [Name] to wear it to see how he would look, he agreed and told the kids to look back so he could change.
The uniform feels very comfortable and it fit him well, same goes for the robe. However, it was too fancy for his taste. He thought a knight would have a more..Different uniform but this is good enough.
The twins were amazed, they compliment him for how he looks in the uniform, which he accepted it.
He doesn't get to see how he really looks like with the uniform on, but he couldn't care less anyways. Now he has two children who are looking at him like an angel, and he doesn't regret taking a chance.
[Name] look at the window, he noticed it was evening. It felt like no time passed at all since he came here.
Just as he was admiring the sunset from outside, there was another knock from the door, he look at Ashley and Ace, suggesting them they should hide. They nodded and ran towards the closet next to his bed.
They hid in the small space in between the wardrobe and dresser.
[Name] groan and opened the door, seeing an unfamiliar face yet again..But this time it was a blond hair guy, "Hello. I'm here to inform you that you can have dinner now."
The blond said, smiling at [Name]. [Name] gave him an awkward smile and nod,
"Uhm..Yeah, thanks, I'll be there-"
"Actually, can we walk to the dining hall together?"
The blond asked with an innocent look, while he give a puppy eyes. [Name] sweatdrop,
"...Sure?"
Ace and Ashley peeked from their hiding spot, they're watching the scene unfold with glee. As soon as the blonde heard [Name] say yes, he instantly smiled brightly, and grabbed the other by his hands and pulled him along. But [Name] wanted to close the door before they go
[Name] look at the kids for the last time before closing the door, leaving the two in the room alone...They might have to wait for him to come back after dinner.

"I haven't introduce myself yet..I'm David Swallow, nice to meet you."
"Uh, nice to meet you too..?"
David give his hand to [Name], to which he politely shake it.
They continue to walk to the dining hall,
"So what's your magic?"
David suddenly ask, still smiling at the older male, making him flustered. He didn't expected that question at all.
[Name] shrug,
"Card magic.."
"Card magic? Ooo, I never heard of that before."
[Name] was silent at that, he didn't know what to say. He panicked a little because of how quiet he is, he's getting anxious just by thinking the guy is judging him because he's so quiet...What if the guy thinks he doesn't want to talk to him? That's what scares him the most.
"Are you shy or something!"
David chuckled, trying to ease [Name]'s tension. [Name] shook his head, feeling embarrassed,
"No..! I, uh, I'm just not good at socializing with people...I apologize if I'm too awkward."
"No, it's alright! People can be nervous whenever they want. I don't judge them for that."
[Name] look relieved by that answer, and continued walking, David also follow him to avoid any awkward silence.
The two finally arrived to the dining hall and walked inside together. David introduce him to the foods, [Name] was surprised there were a lot of options, and they all smell so good. Sad that the kids can't come here..
