The walled city of King's Landing, capital of Westeros. The royal castle, the Red Keep, built of red sandstone, perches on the cliffs above Blackwater Bay.
The seven-towered Great Sept of Baelor rises on the south edge of the city. In between sprawls the fetid slum called Flea Bottom.
The king's party arrives in King's Landing.
King's Landing is roughly square-shaped, sprawling across several miles and defended by tall walls. It is dotted with manses, arbors, granaries, brick storehouses, timbered inns, merchant stalls, taverns, graveyards and brothels.
There is a fish market. Hundreds of quays can be found in the harbor. Between buildings the roads are broad, lined with trees and branching alleys and streets.
The city covers the north shore of the Blackwater Rush and covers three tall hills, named after Aegon and his two sisters, Visenya and Rhaenys.
Aegon's High Hill, surmounted by the Red Keep, the royal castle located in the south-eastern corner of the city, overlooks the bay directly, whilst Visenya's Hill to the west is crowned by the marble-walled Great Sept of Baelor and its seven crystal towers.
The Hill of Rhaenys in the north is capped by the collapsed ruins of the Dragonpit dome, its bronze doors shut for a century and a half since the last dragon died.
Ned is at the front of the procession, followed by Jory, Baelor, and other guards.
Behind them, I, Arya, Sansa, Gwen, and Septa Mordane are riding in a cart.
As we enter the courtyard, Ned gets off his horse and is greeted by the Royal Steward "Welcome, Lord Stark. Grand Maester Pycelle has called a meeting of the Small Council. The honor of your presence is requested."
Ned to Septa Mordane "Get the girls settled in. I'll be back in time for supper" To Jory and Baelor "And both of you go with them."
Jory says "Yes, my lord."
Bash says "Yes, Lord Stark"
Royal Steward says "If you'd like to change into something more appropriate...?"
Ned gives Steward a blank stare before taking off his gloves. The Steward realizes Ned's disinterest and the two begin walking to the council chamber.
I jump from the cart and look around the courtyard, Baelor comes close to me "Gods this place is awful" We laugh looking at each other "Guide me, Bash"
Baelor acts like a guard "This way, Princess Lyanna"
I laugh walking with him inside the red keep and looking around this is where the Targaryen lived before but there is no such thing to prove they lived here.
The Red Keep is made of pale red stone and overlooks the mouth of the Blackwater Rush. The Red Keep has seven massive drum towers crowned with iron ramparts.
The castle is smaller than Winterfell and is patrolled by gold cloaks. Much of the Red Keep is connected underground. Massive curtain walls surround the castle, with nests and crenelations for archers.
Thick stone parapets, some four feet high, protect the outer edge of the wall ramparts, where the heads of traitors are traditionally placed on iron spikes between the crenels at the gatehouse.
The walls have great bronze gates and portcullises, with narrow postern doors nearby. The castle also has great cornerforts. The immense barbican has a cobbled square in front of it.
Behind the walls are small inner yards, vaulted halls, covered bridges, barracks of the City Watch of King's Landing, dungeons, granaries, kennels, and stables.
The Red Keep has serpentine steps which can be strenuous to climb. Maegor's Holdfast, the small council chambers, the Tower of the Hand, the lower bailey, a small sunken courtyard, and the black cells are located below the steps.
The Great Hall with the throne room is found above the steps, and the outer yard or ward is found near the main gate.
Also above the steps are the godswood, the river walk, the small kitchen, and the pig yard.
The royal sept and the Maidenvault are located above the serpentine steps as well. Relics of the Targaryen dynasty, such as dusty suits of black armor, sit in some corridors. Doors are made of oak banded with black iron. Sweet-smelling rushes can be spread on floors.
The Red Keep is full of cats, including those kept as pets as well as strays, like a black tomcat
Narrator POV
The Steward is leading Ned through a hallway of the Red Keep, They arrive at the main throne room. The Great Hall contains the throne room of the king. The Iron Throne sits on a raised iron dais with high and narrow steps.
A long carpet stretches from the throne to the hall's great oak-and-bronze doors. The cavernous Great Hall can feast on a thousand people.
The hall is oriented north to south, with high, narrow windows on the eastern and western walls. Skulls of the Targaryen dragons once adorned the walls, but King Robert I Baratheon had them moved to a cellar and replaced with hunting tapestries at the beginning of his reign.
Located behind the Iron Throne is the king's door, a private exit. In the second-largest chamber in Westeros after Harrenhal, more than a thousand maidens and their family members and servants overcrowded the Great Hall during the Maiden's Day Ball.
Small council sessions are sometimes held in the throne room. -Ned enters and looks around. Jaime Lannister is sitting on the steps in front of the Iron Throne. Lyanna arrives too but she hides with Baelor to hear them.
When Jaime sees Ned, he gets up and walks over to him and sarcastic "Thank the Gods you're here, Stark. About time we had some stern Northern leadership."
"Glad to see you're protecting the throne."
Jaime briefly glances at the throne "Sturdy old thing. How many kings' asses have polished it, I wonder? Um, What's the line? 'The King shits and the Hand wipes'."
Ned looks at Jaime's armor "Very handsome armor. Not a scratch on it."
Lyanna and Baelor share a look.
"I know. People have been swinging at me for years, but they always seem to miss."
"You've chosen your opponents wisely then."
"I have a knack for it" Pause while Ned stares at Jaime with an air of disapproval "It must be strange for you coming into this room. I was standing right here when it happened. He was very brave, your brother. Your father too. They didn't deserve to die like that. Nobody deserves to die like that."
Ned bitter "But you just stood there and watched."
"500 men just stood there and watched. All the great knights of the Seven Kingdoms - you think anyone said a word, lifted a finger? No, Lord Stark. 500 men, and this room was silent as a crypt - except for the screams, of course, and the Mad King laughing. And later...when I watched the Mad King die, I remembered him laughing as your father burned. It felt like justice."
The bitterness has not left Ned's face or his voice "Is that what you tell yourself at night? You're a servant of justice? That you were avenging my father when you shoved your sword in Aerys Targaryen's back?"
Jaime is sardonic "Tell me....if I'd stabbed the Mad King in the belly instead of the back, would you admire me more?"
Brief pause. Ned is still looking at Jaime with disapproval "You served him well when serving was safe" Ned walks away.

Lyanna POV
Jaime remains there with a look of annoyance on his face. I look at Baelor to go as he nods, I get into the main throne room.
Jaime regards with a smile "Anna"
"Jaime" I approach him "Why did you explain yourself to them?"
"What do you mean?"
"I mean stop explaining yourself, you know that you did the right thing?"
Jaime nods "Of course"
"This is my lesson to you don't explain yourself no one will believe your actions" I look at the throne "All these wars for this legendary"
Jaime lifts my chin up "Who annoyed you?"
I walk away past him and sit on the steps, pointing at him "You!"
"What I did do?"
"You left in the middle of the madness"
"I told you I will leave"
"You said in the dawn, not in the middle of fighting"
"I'm not used to saying to someone every move I do"
"I'm not someone"
"Right you're my wife and it was children fighting. What could happen? you tell Arya two words and that it"
"Father killed Snow" my eyes full of tears.
Jaime sighs and sits next to me "They did" I nod and he holds my hand "I'm sorry, Lyanna"
"She is the only thing from Jon"
Jaime pats my back "I know" he looks at the throne "Stand up" I look at him then stand and he wipes my tears "You look good when you cry but better when you don't" I smile "I did it"
We face the throne watching it "Lyanna, tell me what you feel about that old thing?"
"A powerful place needs a powerful king who can lead any army and protect all the realm but at the same time kind with a good heart feel the poor before the rich"
Jaime smiles looking at me "Lyanna, you're amazing" smirks "Every time you open your mouth telling me something about politics, I'm proud of myself for choosing you as a wife"
I mock him "That sweet words but I'm still mad at you"
Jaime closes his eyes mocking "Don't say mad at this room, please"
I laugh "Yes, right"
Jaime opens his eyes smiles at me steps and takes my hand "Come" Jaime leads me to sit on the throne, I look at him worried "They are busy no one can see, I need to know your feelings as queen now" I take a deep breath and sit on the throne. I smile with confidence and raise my head. \Jaime smiles "How do you feel?"
I smile "High, like drunk. Also, this is a kind of scary feeling to protect all these people, I huge task"
"Good that means you're not stupid" I nod and stand and take out his sword playful "Lyanna not again"
I point with the sword at his chest "Umm" then at the throne "Sit"
Jaime thinks for a while and sits, and I give his sword to hold it and take a step back I watch him with a smirk "How do I look?"
I think of Jon's words "Like a king"
"New rules with New region"
"Lannisters on the throne kind of weird to me" Jaime stands and put his sword back in its place in the armor "By the way, I'm still annoyed with you"
"I have time until the king needs me so" he starts to tickle me "Oh"
I jump "Do not" he tries to catch me laughing to tickle me "Jaime!"
Jaime catches me and puts his arms around me "So dear wife, I need to show you my__" shakes his head "Our chamber"
I nod "Sounds good plan"
"And I will make sure you aren't annoyed"
As we walk and I follow him "I won't do it, I have a lot of things"
Jaime turns to me with a smirk "Well dirty mind I didn't mean sleeping together but sounds plan if you thinking about it"
I stare at him "You didn't mean" he nods "Gods!"
Jaime takes my arms pulling me towards him "But you give me the idea"

Jaime's chamber is on the last floor of the sword tower. The sword tower is similar to the white sword tower. Sword Tower is a slender four-storied structure built into an angle of the castle wall overlooking the sea. It has winding steps.
We are standing in front of a grand chamber with breathtaking decor, flanked by two imposing Valyrian sphinxes. Jaime confidently knocks on the door and then opens it, revealing a vast and luxurious space that takes my breath away. The chamber boasts four doors, each leading to a different area - the main door, the bathroom door, the annex room door, and the balcony door.
As I step inside, my eyes immediately fall on a magnificent fireplace that adds warmth and coziness to the room. The sofa and two armchairs invite us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. I am impressed by the spacious and comfortable master bed that dominates the center of the chamber, flanked by two nightstands. The desk and small library in the corner catch my attention, and I can't help but imagine spending hours lost in thought surrounded by books.
The small dining table is perfect for intimate meals or morning coffee, and the balcony door offers a stunning view of the surrounding landscape. The attention to detail in the decor is evident, and I can't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to experience such luxury. As I take it all in, I feel a sense of awe and wonder, and I know that this is a moment I will cherish for a long time to come.
As I step onto the huge balcony, my eyes are immediately drawn to the vast, shimmering sea that lies before me. I can't resist the urge to dash towards the railing and take in the breathtaking view. The cool breeze, the sound of crashing waves, and the beauty of the sea combine to create a truly unforgettable experience "Wow, That looks incredible" I turn to him "I've never seen the sea"
"You like it?"
"Very"
"This bathroom door and this the annex chamber we could use it for anything" he points at the bookshelves "This small library for you"
I smile "How did you know I love reading"
"Jon good helper" I smile "I have something for you" he puts his hands on my eye and stands behind me "I hope you like it"
"You won't throw me from the balcony"
"Next time, not today" he put his chin on my shoulder and whispers "Ready?"
I smile "Yes"
Jaime takes his hands off my eyes, and I open them slowly. I find Snow, I jump from happiness clapping.
Snow jumps on me and I hug her "Oh Snow" I look at him smiling "How?" I sit on my knees petting her.
"When I disappear in the middle of children fighting, I take her with me and my faithful soldiers help me" Jaime sits on his knees next to me petting her "And she must be a good girl not allowed to go out cause her safety" looking at me who staring at him "and our heads"
I throw myself into his arms hug him and close my eyes. Jaime smiles he hugs me back. I pull away "I am sorry"
"I'm your husband, it's okay to hug me"
I smile "You give me the world today"
"I just want to see you happy"
I hold his hands "You are a very good man and I'm proud myself to take you as a husband"
Jaime smiles and leans to kiss me and I lean with a smile.
Gwen gets in the chamber after knocking and Jaime looks at her annoyed. Gwen to us "Sorry"
Jaime says "My partner in crime"
I look at her "You see me crying for a week and never think to tell me"
Gwen smiles "I'm sorry, we have to let you believe it"
I smile looking at Snow who sitting calmly in front of us "And I believe it"
Jaime stands "Duty time, I have a king to guard, There is another handmaiden, I know her she can be trusted. She and Gwen are the only ones allowed to the chamber"
I nod "Okay"
Jaime stands and kisses my head "I will come at sleep time"
I give him a look "Don't be late"
Jaime heading outside "Yes, Commander" winking at me "I will not" he closes the door behind him.
I smile shaking my head.
"I put everything in the chamber and your small box at this cabin with the dagger"
I nod "Thanks, Gwen"
Gwen smiles "No need, Lyanna it's my job. I will meet the other handmaiden and make sure, she is trustworthy"
"Great" I'm trying to play with Snow but the only thing she does is sit down on my leg like guarding me "Snow, play with me" She approaches me more "I miss you too, Are you sick?" Gwen approaches me and feels my breast. I giggle uncomfortably "Oh. What are you doing?"
"When was the last time you bleed?"
I try to remember "a week before the wedding"
Gwen smiles "You change, Lyanna" looking at Snow "She feels the child, they know that before us" I put a hand on my stomach. Gwen does so too "It's a blessing from the mother, you're with child."
I look slightly overwhelmed.
