Aria's P.O.V
We've now reached Tsilge, Which after arriving in the town we immediately went to the Adventurers Guild.
"We'll go report about the destruction of Zetsuya." Toa said as I nodded in acknowledgement.
"Are you sure though? You also have right to the reward for finishing this request." Toa said as I shrugged.
[We still need to get re-registered as adventurers, and also if we managed to increase our ranks without Tomoe here, she'll sulk.] I explained.
"She indeed would..." Mio agreed at my words.
"Eh? So you're not gonna register today?" The dwarf girl asked us.
"I wanted to see someone with a level over 1000!" The guy said.
'You guys are looking forward to that? I'll rather avoid it.' I thought thinking how much attention I would unfortunately draw.
[I'm going to look around the guild while we wait.] I told them as I began to walk off.
"Rinon, wait quietly here wit Mio." Toa told the young girl.
"Hey don't treat me like a child." Rinon responded.
'Heh, I think it might be better to say they're roles are reversed.' I thought as headed towards their boards.
'Hm, so the number 1 adventurer is Level 201 and rank S. Not really concerning then really.' I thought since Zetsuya's adventurer was level 444 and he easily got defeated by Mio and Tomoe.
'Still I better be cautious, anyone can hide in the shadows.' I thought.
'Thinking about it now, Toa and the others are pretty weird for staying there when they we're only around level 100 or so.' I thought as I ignored some upcoming thoughts about Toa's well being.
Moving towards the Quests board I stared.
'Heh, only A-Rank and B+ Rank Quests are left... So anything lower must be pretty popular and useful since it's still risky, but plentiful as well.' I thought as I then looked up.
'Hm? An S Rank Quest is here... The Rembrant Company... So it's from some merchant company.' I thought reading the details of the quest.
'Hm? All it ask for are the eyes of those Ruby Eye's? This is very coincidence.' I Thought using Rulers Authority to make the quest float into my hands.
I felt alot of eyes on me at my actions, but I ignored ot since it could definitely be weird for newcomer or no name to grab a S-Rank Quest.
'I'll just keep it with me for now.' I thought throwing it in my inventory.
'I'll have to ask Toa and the others for some of The Ruby Eyes that I killed later.' I thought.
"What is it, Miss?" Rinon asked me as I turned towards her and Mio.
"Oh my, Young Miss, Are you plotting somthing?" Mio said as I gave a small giggle and shook my head.
[Nothing like that Mio, but I did find a interesting quest.] I told her.
"Hmm... Oh Big, Sis!" Rinon said as Toa came up from behind her sister and hugged her in her arms.
"We gave our report and our rank increased a whole bunch!" Toa said smiling happily.
[That's great! Congratulations! Now we can go have lunch and split the materials we gathered.] I said making her nod in agreement.
-Time Skip-
"Um... so you want to take one of each type of item and 12 eyes from the Ruby Eyes? Are you really fine with just that, Aria?" Toa asked me as I stored my share in my inventory and nodded.
[Yes, taking to much from you will leave a sour taste in my mouth. Especially when I am taking the most valuable items.] I told her.
"That's not a problem, you we're the one who defeated them after all." Toa told me making me smile under my mask as I nodded.
"Well everything's been split among us now... I guess we'll be going pur separate ways now." Toa said as she and the others looked downtrodden at the thinking of our separation.
'Hm, We did travel together for a month.' I thought before an idea occurred to me.
[If you guys would like, why don't we have a dinner together. As farewell party or such?] I asked cheering them up quickly.
"Yes!!" They all responded making me nod.
[Toa, you've been here before, right? It's my first time being here, so could you pick the place?] I asked.
"Just leave it to me! Is there any food you like?" She asked me.
'Hm I would love to cook me some modern dishes, but the technology here is not even that far or even close to it.' I thought.
[Anything with strong flavor shall do. Also, make sure Rinon will be able to enter it as well.] I told her.
"I can come too?!" Rinon asked excitedly as patted her head and nodded.
"In that case, it should be around there... Alright I got it." She said as she reached into her pocket.
"Then I'll lend you my guild card. We'll go our separate ways for now, but I'll send you a map when I find a shop." She explained as I nodded.
I gave a small smile as I watched the small group go on there way.
As me and Mio waited and walked around the town for a bit. I was exploring the functions of the guild card. Turns out I may have been a bit wrong about they're technology. The card has holographic presentation with many other features on it as well. From maps, encyclopedias, communication. It was like a perfect utility tool for adventurers.
It wasn't long until we received a message from Toa about the place we're going to eat at.
'Seems tonight will probably be a very nice one.' I thought.
-Small Time Skip-
It was now currently dark out as me and Mio and looked around for the others.
"There she is! Aria, over here!" Toa said making me and Mio look towards them as we walked.
[Thank you for allowing me to hold your card Toa.] I said.
"Don't worry about, it was no problem." She told me with a smile as I nodded.
[So this is the place?] I questioned as I looked up at sigh of the establishment seeing that it just said straight Butcher.
'Heh, so straight forward, but the smell from the place smells nice.' I thought.
"I contacted them earlier so that they would start preparing the food, so we don't need to wait." Toa explained as she headed in.
"It smells delicious!" Mio commented as I nodded in agreement.
"I'm starving!" Rinon said as I giggled lightly and patted her head.
When we came inside my nose and eyes we're immediately attracted by the smell of delicious meat.
Looking over I laid my eyes on something I only ever seen in those cartoons or weird books the boys at the Archery Club read or watch.
'Hm it's looks very delicious.' I thought as I stared at the meat hungrily.
"Hehehe~ Aria, do you like this that much?" Toa asked me with a teasing smile from seeing me stare so intently at the food.
I blushed lightly at this as I didn't think I was caught, but I quickly composed myself, despite everyone stare on me.
[S-Sorry, I am just not really use to seeing so much really, and to be honest I'm very hungry myself]I explained making with a lightly blushing face that everyone stared at.
"I-Is that so? You did not join us in breakfast so that's pretty expected though..."Toa said as I gave a small smile under my mask and nodded.
Everyone sat around the table as of course Mio choose her seat near myself and I was near the elf.
Picking up our drinks I didn't bother to change it since booze has no effect on me if I don't want it too.
"Let's start then, to our return to Tsilge, and to our meeting with Aria and Mio." Toa toasted as we all clanked our mugs and cheered.
Placing down my mug I reached for my mask and took it off surprising everyone as they saw my whole face for the first time through out our travels.
I giggled softly at their shocked, surprised and awed faces as that only made them look at me more with all of them blushing.
"Wow..." The guy named Hazal said staring at me.
"Th-This is not what I expecting when I thought what was behind the mask...." The dwarf girl named Ranilna said
"I...I'm stunned.." The Elf girl named Luisa said staring at me in daze.
Toa was no different as she was staring at me intently with a blush on her face.
"Wow! Your very pretty Miss!" Rinon said looking at me with comical stars as I giggled.
[Thank you, Rinon. Your very adorable yourself.] I said flashing the small girl a smile.
Ignoring the stares on me as even Mio couldn't help, but stare at me as if I was platter she absolutely needed to taste.
I went on to eat the food in front of me, starting with the large slab of meat that smelled oh so delicious.
Going and starting to eat, everyone soon recovered from there dazes and continued on.
"My goodness..." Luisa said she saw that was I devoured the large slab with little to no time without even making a mess.
Using a napkin I cleaned my mouth before placing my sights on Luisa who was occasionally casting glance my way.
'Rembering now, her job on her card said something about a Bless Gunner, right? Does that mean fire arms exist here?' I questioned.
"Hm? What is it, Aria?" She asked me noticing my stare.
[Do Bless Gunners also use firearms? Like Pistol and others as such?] I asked her.
"Firearms? What are those?" She asked me making me sweat drop slightly.
'So not even a musket, this world is way behind and is way too reliant on Magic and that brat's blessings.' I thought, but I decided to leave it as such.
It's not inhibiting me in any way, instead its helping me by knowing what all I can create and improve on. Science and Magic would definitely make a dangerous and helpful combination.
"...You are quite a mysterious person. Despite having strength and money, I don't feel any greed in you. You are like cloud... a soft thing." She making me give a wry smile as I made myself another plate.
[Calling me a thing is a little hurtful, wouldn't you think?] I asked making her sweat drop.
"Oh no, I didn't mean it that like that. It's just that you don't feel like a hyuman or even a living creature." She said a bit nervously as I gave a small giggle.
I could clearly see now that she struggles a bit with her words. She's not being blunt or mean, it's just the way she picks the words to use.
I patted her head in comfort since I had no reason to be irritated by such even if it was purpose full. Insults are nothing, but a verbal that can't hurt you unless you let it.
I also decided to let my Fox Features out, surprising the group once again as they saw my big nine fluffy tails and a pair of Fox ears on my head.
I didn't mind the stares though as two of my tails stretched and went to Rinon who immediately started to play and pet them while Mio grabbed the rest and placed it in her own lap for her own amusement and comfort.
I was about to eat another slab of meat when suddenly Luisa asked me a question.
"Where is your shooting style from?" She asked me making me raise a brow as bit into the meat.
[Can I ask what do you mean by that?] I asked.
"What school of Archery is it from? It doesn't resemble the scout or sniper styles. Your movements and the stillness that followed would have resulted in you getting hit usually." She said as I finished my slab of meat during the time she was talking causing so to stare at me in shock.
'Hm? How can I explain it...' I thought.
[It's not really a style, it's more of a stance if you want it excatly. To boost my concentration and performance. Excluding combat, one of the things I was taught was that aiming and hitting the target come together as a form of etiquette.] I explained.
"You weren't taught to use it in combat? What is the point of it then?" She questioned.
[I was taught in the combat form of it, but you could say that it's rather to improve your spirit then going for the kill. Which if think kinda sounds unusable here.] I told her.
"So improving your spirit results in that power and accuracy? What a strange form of archery, but it is very impressive." She told me giving me a small that I returned.
Going right back to eating, I was soon called on again though before I could respond an arm was around my neck.
"Aria..."Hazal said completely red faced drunk and to close for my liking.
[Hm? What is it?] I asked him.
"Whatch are you gunna do with the Ruby Eye's Eyes? Are you making armor and tools out of them? Ah, If you need help with training, I can help." He told me as I continued to eat.
[Right, You're an Alchemy Meister.] I said as he nodded and laughed.
I sweat dropped at this though as I wasn't the only who was concerned with how close he was to me. Mio was glaring at him right from my side making me have to send her off to get more meat while I handle this.
[The materials are for a request I saw in the guild. So I'll be using them for that. Also it's from a company so I'm hoping to use this to build connections.] I told him.
"Connekshuns? Oh yeah, companies need those!" He said.
[I apologize for taking the most valuable things.] I told him.
"Itsh fine! We alreddy got more than we dezerved! I was able to buy new ikwipment! I even god a bedder inn room!" He said as I nodded at his words.
Soon some more booze was brought to the table.
"Are you drinking? Here drink so more! Come on! More drinking! More eating!" Ranilna said as I gave a wryly smile and took one of the mugs gulping it down.
[Thank you, I'm very much enjoying myself.] I told her.
"That's great to hear! To not enjoy drinking is to desecrate where you we're born from!" She said making me sweat drop at her logic.
'She won't be happy with alot of people on my past world then' I thought.
"By the way! That brilliant handling you showed with the bow earlier, and that power, it seems to me like you're pretty strong." She said as I took a couple more drinks down.
[I guess you could say that...] I responded making her laugh.
"I like you! Let's have a match!" She getting in a arm wrestling stance.
'Hm, so even this world has that game. Heh, Amusing.' I thought as I gripped her and settled myself.
"This is great! You actually know about our traditional dwarven contest of strength!" She said making sweat drop.
'It's tradition? That's a bit unique.' I thought.
"Rinon, tell when to start." Ranilna said.
"Okay! Ready...Go!" Rinon signaled as immediately Ranilna tried to push my hand with her strength.
I stared at this as I looked that she had quite the muscles on her.
'But even with that... it's nothing to me.' I thought as I beat her
"That's amazing! Aria wins!" Rinon announced.
"Ha... It's the first time I've lost like that! You got me there!" She said as I nodded with a smile and patted her head which she blushed a bit at that.
She quickly walked away grabbing Hazal as they went to drink somewhere.
"Young Miss, I've brought back more meat." Mio said as she laid a plate infront of me.
[Thanks Mio.] I said as we began to dine it
It didn't take long for both me and Mio to have mountains of plates stacked up beside us.
"I'm glad you're enjoying yourselves!" Toa said with a small smile.
"Isn't everything tasty, Miss?" Rinon said as I giggled and picked the Young girl up out of her sister's lap and into my own tickling her with the end of my tails with a a playful smile.
[Thanks for picking this place Toa. The food is really good and both Mio and I are really enjoying it] I told her as I continued to play with Rinon on the side.
"That's great to hear. Oh, what are your plans for tomorrow?" She asked me.
[Tomoe should be getting here by tomorrow, so we'll go back thr adventurers guild to re-register. Afterwards we'll go to the merchants guild. Then after that we'll go sight seeing, going on trips is always nice.] I responded.
"Trips ? You really sound like a noble." She said making me sweat drop.
'Trips are associated with luxury? This world's common sense is to bizarre.' I thought.
[Sorry, I'm not really familiar with the common sense here.] I told her with a wryly smile.
"It's fine. Oh, right when you're done registering at the guild tomorrow. Could we add each other as contacts?" She asked me as I was now lifting Rinon up with my tails playing.
[Oh sure! That's no problem.] I replied.
"By the way about that request you picked. Is it from the Rembrant Company?" She asked me.
[Actually yes, why?] I questioned.
"I heard a strange rumor in the adventurers guild..." She told me making me raise a brow.
