I found out that I was transgender about 2 months ago but I was too afraid to come out to anybody, even my boyfriend Mikey.
I kept it a secret for so long but finally decided to tell him.
I didn't know if he'd still love me.
"Hey (deadname)" Mikey said, kissing my cheek.
"Mikey I have to tell you something" I sighed.
"What is it babe?"
"Okay, uhm... I'm trans, my name's Y/N, I'm not a girl"
We stood in silence for a couple seconds and then he smiled.
"I knew I wasn't straight"
He kissed me lovingly and hugged me.
"You're not leaving me?" I asked.
"Never" he said. "I would never leave you"
I hugged him and rested my head on his shoulder.
"Do you need to get anything? New clothes? A binder? Anything?"
"Yeah I need all of that and a haircut"
"I can do that, I used to cut my own hair. What type of haircut?"
"Just something masculine"
Mikey sat me down in the bathroom and took out the scissors.
"All done" he said.
I looked in the mirror and almost started crying.
"It's perfect" I said, kissing him. "I love it"
"You're welcome, Y/N"
I hugged him tightly and smiled.
He kissed my cheek and hugged me back.
"I'm gonna order you a binder and you can borrow my clothes until we can get you something you like"
"Thank you"
Mikey got on his computer and we measured out everything before ordering me 2 binders.
I went to his closet and took out a hoodie.
I put it on, smelling the cozy and comforting smell of Mikey's cologne.
"How you feeling baby?" He asked, hugging me from behind.
"Free" I sighed, holding his hand softly. "I feel free"
"That's great"
2 weeks later...
I went to the park with Mikey, doing the average couple stuff, kissing, holing hand and all that.
Soon I felt my phone buzz in my pocket.
"Gerard's calling me" I said.
I answered it.
"What's up?"
"I just saw Mikey kissing some random dude at the park!" Gerard yelled.
I winced at the sudden loudness of his voice.
"Oh dude, I forgot to tell you. I'm that guy, I'm trans, I'm Y/N" I said.
"Oh, that explains"
Mikey chuckled. "Where is he?"
"Where are you, are you spying on us?"
"No! I just- yeah..."
"C'mon out good sir, we can go get ice cream together"
"I'll be there in a second"
