Sakura P.O.V
After a bit of driving, we decided to camp out on the mountain top, Uncle Sandy was sleeping, Uncle Tang is still studying the ring, Uncle Pigsy was watching tv and Monkey King was roasting marshmallows by the fire. When Monkey King finished eating his roasted marshmallow, he was about to grab another one, but Macaque took the bag away from him
"Hey!" Monkey King shouted at Macaque and tried to get the bag back
"You already finished 2 bags! I think it's time to stop eating them, plus I know you have more hidden so stop complaining already" Macaque said
"Calm down you two, please?" I tried to calm them down
"Agh! This map doesn't make any sense!" MK shouted
"Something wrong MK?" I asked while petting Kyubi who on my lap
"This map doesn't make any sense at all! These landmarks don't look like anything!" MK started to point at the different landmarks "Debatably, this one where we got the first ring looks like DBK's fortress, and this beautifully rendered mountain range looks like some sort of Lantern city... But tell me... What the brick is this?!"
"MK, that's the moon" I answered
"What?" MK looked at me with a dumbfounded look
"Would you guys shush!" Uncle Pigsy shouted, and I heard the jiggle from the tv
"Gasp! It's Cooking with Chang'e!" I rushed towards where Uncle Pigsy is and started to watch the show
"Hello everyone! It's wonderful to see you down there. I've missed you all so much! Welcome to my home for another night of Cooking with Chang'e! Where I always say Cooking is life and life is cooking" Chang'e said on tv with me and Uncle Pigsy repeating her words even Uncle Pigsy is wearing her merchandise
Making everyone sweat drop with Uncle Pigsy's enthusiasm
"Tonight, I'll be revealing the secrets to baking the perfect moon cake" Chang'e said and I pulled out a pencil and notepad to write down the information
"Huh. Not gonna lie, she's younger than I thought she'd be" Mei said and MK squinted his eyes
"Does that thing in the background look kind of familiar?" MK asked
"Huh, your right" I heard Kyubi say, but Uncle Pigsy shushed them while I continued to write down the information, when suddenly MK gasped. He grabbed both the map and ring from Uncle Tang's hand, and looked at the object on the tv
"Guys! Look! There! It's one of the rings!" MK pointed out, making everyone look at the tv
"The second ring of Samadhi is in Chang'e's kitchen?" Uncle Pigsy asked, making Uncle Tang very excited
"You know what this mean?! We are going to..." We all looked up in the night sky
"The Celestial Realm!" MK said, everyone fall to the ground
"Are you really that stupid?!" Kyubi yelled
"The moon, kid. We're going to the moon" Macaque said as he got up from the ground and helped me get up
"We're really going to space!" MK asked excitedly while Uncle Pigsy was packing all of his stuff
'Guess he's very excited, but then again... We're going to Chang'e's kitchen!' I thought excitedly, but then I realized something
"But how are we gonna go to the moon?" I asked, making Uncle Pigsy stop packing
"In a rocket" Monkey King answered while eating his peach chips
"Huh?" MK, Mei and I said
"Yeah. Just use your powers, build a rocket out of the van, and we'll just fly up there" Monkey King said as he was making rocket noises
"Wukong, you do know the kid is still learning on getting his powers back bit by bit. So, how about you and I make the rocket?" Macaque suggested and Monkey King groaned but agreed
"Hold on! I should wake up Uncle Sandy first" I said and entered the van to wake up Uncle Sandy. After a couple of seconds, I walked out of the van with Uncle Sandy and Mo, once I told Macaque and Monkey King, they both started to make the rocket out of the van. Finally, the rocket is complete. We all looked at the rocket with amazement
"Okay, the rocket is done, the rocket can hold 5 people" Macaque said
No One P.O.V
After debating who's going to the moon, it was decided that MK, Pigsy, Monkey King, Sakura and Macaque are going. There was some objection for Sakura going to the moon, Sandy was holding onto Sakura very tightly. Since they don't have time, Monkey King whispered into MK's ear, and suddenly MK used his powers on Sandy to move him away from Sakura, but it made small.
"MK! Why did you shrink Uncle Sandy?!" Sakura shouted at MK
"I-I didn't mean to! I thought the power Monkey King told me to do was to move Sandy away from you, not shrink him!" MK said and everyone looked at Monkey King
"What? All I did was tell MK what to do, but the shrinking power was even better." Monkey King said as he started walking into the rocket "Well, let's go! The ring isn't gonna come to us if we keep standing around"
"Uncle Sandy, I promise to come back safely. Plus, I have Uncle Pigsy, MK, Monkey King and Macaque with me to protect me from any danger" Sakura said to reassure her uncle
"Okay. Pigsy, watch over Sakura in our stead and I know I can count on you 3 to protect Sakura too" Sandy said with Pigsy, MK, Monkey King and Macaque nodded before they entered the rocket
When they got inside the rocket, they took their seats and Monkey King was pressing buttons
"You have done this before, right?" Pigsy asked Monkey King
"Nope! I've never even made a rocket ship before. Can you believe that?" Monkey King said making both Pigsy and Macaque tighten their seatbelts, and Macaque even tighten Sakura's seatbelt too "Hey, what's this button do?" Monkey King pressed the big red button and the rocket ship blasted off into space
In space
Sakura had her eyes close for a moment, and after a minute she opened her eyes, and she was met with countless stars
"Wow! This is amazing!" Sakura said as she looked out, but her smile disappeared when she saw the Lady Bone Demon's power spreading
"Blossom? You okay?" Macaque asked
"We better hurry and find the ring" Sakura said as her hand tightened into a fist, and she felt Macaque's hand on hers
"Don't worry blossom, we'll find the rings and put an end to that demon" Macaque said
Then, the rocket ship started to shake
"We better hold on tight!" Pigsy said as the ship drew closer to the moon, and they crashed landed, resulting both MK and Pigsy landing on their faces while Macaque landed with Sakura in his arms
"Sorry, guys. Like I said I do not know how to fly a rocket" Monkey King said as he landed near the group
Pigsy and Sakura were looking around their surroundings with stars in their eyes
"I can't believe we're here! Wow! Chang'e has amazing vegetations and beautiful plants too!" Sakura said and MK spoke to snap out of their trance of the garden
"Remember guy, in and out. No distractions. Right Pigsy? Sakura?" MK asked
"We know" Sakura said
They started to sneak around, trying to find Chang'e's kitchen without being spotted
MK, Pigsy and Sakura were the only ones wearing space suits, while Monkey King and Macaque weren't
"Hey, don't you guys need a suit?" MK asked
"No. Suits are for dorky mortals" Monkey King said and Macaque smacked him the back of his head
"You do know blossom is wearing that dorky suit, right?" Macaque pointed out, he turned to look at Sakura who had a blank look on her face, making Monkey King realize his mistake
"Uh... Except you Sakura" Monkey King said
"Also, kid, we don't need to wear the suits since there's air here" Macaque said
"Really?" The trio asked
"Yep. How else is there any plants here?" When Macaque said that; the trio took off their suits and breathed the air
"Hey, your right!" MK said, and Macaque's ear twitched
"Get down!" Macaque shouted and they all hid behind the plants, and we felt a huge step. They took a peek and saw a huge bunny mech
"Scanning perimeter" The bunny mech was scanning the area "Perimeter secured" Then the mech started to walk away
"Omg! That is the second cutest thing I ever saw!" Monkey King said
"Second? What's the first cutest thing?" MK asked, and saw Monkey King's tail pointing at Sakura who was also gushing how cute the bunny mech is
'Yeah, Sakura/blossom is the cutest' MK and Macaque thought to themselves and blushed
"Guys, look!" Pigsy whispered shouted and there they found Chang'e's kitchen, which made both him and Sakura even more excited
When they entered the kitchen, MK and Macaque started to look for the second ring, while Pigsy and Sakura were busy being in awe state
"Omg! Uncle Pigsy! We're really in Chang'e's kitchen!" Sakura said excitedly
"I know! I can't believe we're really here!" Pigsy said, but he got hit on the head by a book, when Pigsy looked at it, he gasped "Gasp! It's Chang'e's recipe book!"
"What!? Let me see!" Sakura rushed to her uncle's looked at the recipe book with more stars in her eyes
"Pigsy! Sakura! Put the book down and look over there!" MK pointed at the wall behind them "I found the ring!"
"Great job bud! Now let's grab and go" Macaque said
MK jumped on the wall and took the ring, but that set off an alarm
"The old ring triggers the alarm system trick" Monkey King said as he sat on a chair "Alright guys and gal, let's get out of here" When we were about to leave, the wall breaks to reveal the bunny mech from earlier
"Found them! Intruders!"
"Uh oh! What are we gonna do!?" MK asked and the bunny mech readied its blasters
"MK! Your Gold Vision!" Sakura shouted
"Oh yeah! I always keep forgetting I have that" MK used his gold vision to find a way out "Oh! That way!" MK grabbed everyone and took them to a medium sized drainage; he pushed them through, and it led them to factory
"Woah! Is this a factory inside the moon!?" MK looked amazement until they were surrounded by more bunny mechs "Oh crud" The bunny mechs fired their blasters, luckily the group managed to dodge the blast and were outside now
When they thought they were home free, the bunny mech from earlier appeared behind them
"Monkey King, do something!" Pigsy said but Monkey King is still gushing over how adorable the mech is
"Listen, Pigsy, just know that Wukong is utterly useless in this type of situation" Macaque said and they saw MK stood in front of the group
"MK? What are you...?" Before Sakura could ask more, MK used one of his powers
"Here... comes... Monkie Kid!" MK made the bunny mech's blast shrink including the bunny mech
Everyone gathered around to look at the tiny bunny mech and blushed how small and adorable it looks, when Sakura saw the bunny mech, she couldn't hold herself back anymore
"Aw! It's so adorable!" Sakura scooped up the little bunny mech into her hands and nuzzled it, making the 3 certain guys blush even more
'So cute!" They thought and they heard someone clear their throat
"Hey so... What do you think you're doing?" In front of them was Chang'e herself
"Chang'e!?" Everyone shouted while Pigsy and Sakura were very excited to their favorite tv star in person
"Sun Wukong and MK the Monkie Kid... Not to be that gal, but I'm a huge fan! Do you have a moment?" Chang'e happily took out her phone and started to take pictures of both MK and Monkey King, and Monkey King decided to do some funny poses. When Chang'e was about to put away her phone, she saw Sakura "Gasp! You're Konohana's descendent! OMG! You look exactly like her!" Then Chang'e started to take some selfies of her and Sakura while holding the little bunny mech
"You know Konohana?" Sakura asked
"Yep! I even made sakura mochis after her, cause of her goddess title" Chang'e giggled, once she calmed down a bit, she turned to the boys "Now then, I believe you have something of mine" Chang'e took out her hand
"I'm sorry Chang'e, we needed to find this ring in order to save the world! After we were done, we were gonna return it, honest" MK took out the ring and he was about to hand it back to her, but...
"Oh. That old thing. You can keep it" Chang'e said making everyone look surprised
"What?" MK looked at her dumbfounded
"I've been up here a long time. All sorts of things make their way to my garden, however the day that arrived, I knew it was something special about it, that it didn't belong. So, I gave it a home until it's time for it to leave this place" Chang'e explained "So yes, you may have the ring, in return for my book"
"Book? Did we take her book, guys?" Sakura asked and she noticed Pigsy being surprisingly quiet "Uncle Pigsy" Sakura looked at her uncle with intimidating aura surrounding her, making both MK and Monkey King feeling scared while Macaque was looking at her with hearts in his eyes and his tail shaping into a heart as well
"She looks hot while being intimidating" Macaque said, making both MK and Monkey King glare at him
After some time, Pigsy pulled out Chang'e's recipe book, making his niece gasp
"Uncle Pigsy! You know better than to steal her recipe book! When we get back home, I'm gonna give you a scolding!" Sakura said angerly, and Chang'e walked towards Pigsy
"I was gonna put it back. I just... You know... You're such an inspiration and when I saw your book, I guess... Well, you know I just... I wanted to leave you with a parting gift, in exchange for the ring" When Chang'e received her book back, she opened to the page, her eyes widen and saw Pigsy's recipe to his noodles including Sakura's favorite desert which is a strawberry shortcake "I'm truly sorry" Pigsy apologized as he continued to cry
"Uncle Pigsy..." Sakura looked at her uncle with a frown since she had no idea that he left two recipes in Chang'e's book
"Don't cry Mr. Pig" Chang'e wiped away tear from his face and gently lifted up his chin "I understand. When cooking is life..."
"Life is cooking" Pigsy finished the line
"It's just cooking guys" Monkey King said, making Chang'e, Pigsy and Sakura glare at him with fire in their eyes
"Life is cooking!" They yelled, making Monkey King zipping his mouth shut
"Alright, now that's settled, we should go" MK said
"But... Can you stay a little longer? It's been a long time since I really hung out with anyone except Bun Bun anyway" Chang'e said as the little bunny mech named Bun Bun was waving happily, making Sakura squeal at its cuteness even more "It would mean the moon to me if you stayed a little longer" MK was about to object to her invitation, but Pigsy pushed him aside and said that they'll be happy to stay a little longer
Back to Earth Sakura P.O.V
When we got back to Earth, Uncle Tang crossed out the moon's location after we got the second ring. Monkey King grabbed a folding chair from the van and set it up. Once he took a seat, he opened the box that was filled with Chang'e's famous moon cakes
"Hey bud. I forgot to mention, great job with that shrinking maneuver. You believed you could change that bunny mech and you did. Just like I knew you could" Monkey King said, after MK thanked Monkey King, Monkey King took a bite out of the moon cake, but his face turned red, and fire came out from his mouth "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Why is the moon cake so spicy!?"
'Don't tell me...' I turned my head and saw Macaque laughing so hard
"Hahahahahahahahahahahaha! That's payback for switching my plums for prunes!" Macaque said as he continued to laugh
"Will they ever stop pulling such childish pranks?" Kyubi asked
"Something tells me.... No" I said
"Guys! It's starting!" Uncle Sandy said who was still small
"Is Monkey King gonna change him back at some point or...?" I asked
"Don't worry blossom, since the kid is slowly getting his powers back, I'm sure your uncle will be back to normal in no time" Macaque said as he sat next me, and we watched Cooking with Chang'e featuring Uncle Pigsy and I as her special guests. After the episode ended, we all went back into the van to get some sleep
'One more ring... But... What is this bad feeling?' I thought to myself as I gripped my chest and went to sleep
