It's been two days since we went to that woman's so called paradise. Well, I can't deny that the place is really beautiful and breathtaking.
"Ano ba kaseng naisip mo, Ali? Ba't ka sumama sa mokong na toh?" until now, di pa'din tapos si Azrael sa kaka sermon sa kapatid niyang si Alissy.
"Eh gusto ko lang naman makita yung babae'ng sinasabi ni Razer na last immortal daw na nasa mundo ng mga tao eh" nakanguso'ng sabi ni Alissy sa nakatatanda'ng kapatid.
"At pa'no mo nalaman na babae ang hinahanap namin?" tanong ko naman sa pinsan ko'ng si Razer, yeah, he's my fucking couSIN!
"Sinabi ni... ni..."
"Ni?" I asked.
"Sinabi ni bakla! Yung bakla sa class A!" Sabat ni Alissy. Bakla sa class A?
"Eric Casquejo? Yung class president nila?" asked Azrael.
"Oo kuya! Siya nga!" ani Alissy.
"We saw him there, haven't we?" asked Kalix, still emotionless.
"Uh huh. Their class is on a one week vacation because they accomplished their mission, which is to get enough information about that last immortal" I said.
"Why don't we..." napangisi ako dahil alam ko'ng pareho kami ng nasa isip ni Alissy.
Iaxah's PoV
Bakit ko ba iniisip hanggang ngayon ang sinasabi ng mga kumag na yun? Tsk! Ginulo pa nila ang isip ko! Nagrerelax na dapat ako ngayon eh! Pumunta nga ako dito para makatakas sa stress hatid ng mga reporters and paparazzi pero eto.... Kinginaaaaaaaaa!
"Argh! This is insane! Stop overthinking Iaxah!!" I brushed my hair out of frustration. It's already 11:35 in the evening but here I am, can't sleep because of overthinking.
Bumangon ako mula sa pagkakahiga at lumabas ng rest house. May iilan pa'din akong nakikita na mga turista'ng nakaupo sa buhanginan, yung iba naman nasa terrace ng kwarto'ng nirerentahan nila sa hotel. This is Savannah Villa before,named it after my mom's name but after I saw the entire place being renovated, I changed it into Light's Paradise, I don't know where and how I come up with that name. This resort has villas, cafe, restaurant, bar, stores for souvenirs or tyangge and hotel for those who are willing to pay a million pesos for a one week stay.
Naglakad ako patungo sa dalampasigan ng may mahagip ang aking paningin sa mapuno na parte ng isla. Kahit natatakot, naglakas-loob pa'din ako'ng pumunta sa bahagi'ng iyon.
"I can't see any signs that she's one of us" hindi ko sinasadyang marinig yun, napalakas lang yata yung boses. Aalis na sana ako dahil baka makaistorbo ako ng bigla'ng...
"I'm sure nga! I even saw her eyes changed its color for a while nga eh!" is it Eric? Tsk, tsk. Ano ba'ng pakealam ko kung yung baklang yun nga?
Naglakad na ako paalis ngunit di pa ako nakakalabas ng mapuno'ng parte ng isla ay may bigla na lang dumaplis na kung ano sa balikat ko ng di ko man lang alam sa'n nagmula kaya't napatingin ako dito at napag-alaman'g dumudugo ito. Hinawakan ko ang sugat ko upang mapigilan ang pagdugo nito ngunit agad din'g napabitaw at nagimbal ng makita'ng humihilom ang sugat ko.
Kinusot-kusot ko ang aking mga mata upang masiguro'ng totoo nga ba.
'No! No! Maybe it's just my hallucinations! It's impossible! No humans have extraordinary powers that can regenerate their wounds! I'm only stressed out...'
Agad ako'ng tumakbo pabalik sa rest house at pumunta sa kusina para uminom ng tubig. Ipinikit ko ang aking mga mata at huminga ng malalim. Bumalik na ako sa kwarto at padabog na humiga sa kama ng mahagip ng aking paningin ang nakabukas na balkonahe kaya bumangon ako upang sana'y isarado ito ngunit may nakita ako'ng silver envelope sa lapag kaya nagtataka ko ito'ng pinulot. Isinarado ko na ang balkonahe at umupo sa kama. Sinuri-suri ko ang envelope upang alamin kung kanino iyon galing ngunit wala ako'ng makita kaya't binuksan ko ito. Sa loob, may nakita ako'ng kulay ginto'ng papel na agad ko'ng kinuha at binasa.

The hell?! Light University? Psh! Tsk, just great! And what?! Immortals? Magic? Di pa April pero lakas na nila makapang loko ah?
May nakita pa akong isang papel sa loob ng envelope kaya kinuha ko iyon.
'Enrollment Form?'
Wala sa sarili kong finill-up-an ang form. I don't know why but something inside me is urging me to believe it.
Nagulat ako ng matapos ko'ng fill-up-an ang form ay lumutang ito at umilaw dahilan para mapapikit ako ng dahil sa silaw at nang magdilat ako, laking gulat ko ng mawala ang form. Tanging letter at envelope nalang ang natitira.
'Sa'n naman nagpunta yun?' wala sa sarili kong naitanong
Nagising ako sa silaw ng araw na tumatama sa aking mukha, bumangon na ako at ginawa ang aking morning routine saka bumaba na.
"Miss Jaix, I prepared you pasta for lunch," a crease formed on my forehead. Lunch?
"Lunch?" I asked
"I prepared you breakfast Miss Jaix but you're still asleep and I don't want to disturb you. It's already 11 so I prepared lunch" nakayukong aniya.
"W-what? It's already 11?!" I asked, shock was evident.
"Yes Miss Jaix," magalang nitong sagot, umupo nalang ako at nagsimula ng kumain.
"Uhmm... Miss Jaix, someone's looking for you earlier but you're still sleeping so he asked me to tell you to meet him at the cafe in 2pm."
"Who is he?" I asked, not bothering to look at my lady in waiting.
"His name is Eric, milady. Eric Casquejo," napakunot-noo naman ako. That gay...
I just nodded at her and continue to eat.
I'm here at my cafe, waiting for Eric.
"Girl! Kanina pa ba you?" ani Eric ng makita kung nasaan ako nakapuwesto.
"You're 23 seconds late." walang emosyon ko iyong sinabi.
"Ay taray, parang na-late lang ng 23 seconds grabe na," he arched his brows and sat infront of me.
"So, why do you want to meet me... here?" I asked and rested my back. I gestured the waiter who's serving in the other table next to us to come. "Yes,my lady?"
"Two espresso,"
" Yes,milady"
"You received it?" asked Eric. Huh?
"Received what?" I asked back.
"Yung letter! from LU. I study there, two weeks pa actually ng mag start ang klase but here I am together with my classmates, nagbabakasyon. HAHAHAH." he laughed like a crazy hyena. "Sayang nga eh, tapos na vacation namin, back to school na naman," he added, I just nodded even though I'm not interested with his storytelling blah blah blah.
He stopped talking nang dumating na ang order ko para sa aming dalawa.
'Baka mamaya budol-budol toh, mahirap magtiwala kahit gwapo'ng bakla pa siya' I thought as I take a sip of my espresso.
"How can I be sure that what you're telling right now is true? Baka mamaya kidnap for ransom toh" I arched my brows. Ngumiwi naman siya at bumuntong hininga.
I don't want to trust his words but something inside me is urging me to believe him.
"You really want to see an evidence though what happened to you last night was already the proof," nagtataka ko siyang tinignan.
"W-What do you mean?" I stammered.
"Nasugatan ka pero bigla lang gumaling yung sugat mo. Nag regenerate ang sugat mo," he said, making my eyes widen.
"Y-You saw it?" mahina ko'ng tanong.
"Of course I did." He smirked and flipped his bangs.
"H-how?"
"I saw it when I was on my way back to the hotel. Gusto ko'ng tumawa sa reaction mo nung gabi'ng yun but I hold back my laughter" he shrugged.
Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako at napapikit.
'Goddammit! So careless! You fucking careless bitch!'
