At Manan's Room
All four were seen sitting in the bed with an awkward silence embracing them, Nandini glares at the men for sitting idle....
Nandini (glaring) : time's up Malhotras ab teeno yeh goorna band karo....
Again they all look at her for a second and again look away.....
Nandini (Sighing):okay let me say it frankly. I know how you three are feeling now as you guys are meeting for the first time or upar se aap logon ki “ego” for high the Malhotras's are quite famous for, but guys tum logon ko pata haina hum ek family ha hum aise tho reh nahi sakte na without talking. You guys should be comfortable with each other na mujhe pata hai ki yeh tum logon ke liye asan nahi hai par aisa hi tho nahi reh sakte na hum mujhe bhi meri bacche aur unke papa ko normally behave karte hue dekhna hai I want to see the bond which every father and son shares....I want to see my husband playing with my sons. I want to see my happy family not this awkwardness please mere liye(she ends with tears)
She had got the correct string which pulls her men's heart. They all run to her in a hurry and Manik wipes her tears shaking his head in a “no”
Manik (cupping her cheeks) : Nandu yaar tum pls ro maat tumhe pata haina mein aise kisi ke sath itni asani se baath nahi karta mujhe yeh sab nahi aata yaar to mingle with people easily and before you scold me haan mujhe pata hai ki they are my own sons,my blood and trust me mujhe unse baath karnae mein koi ego nahi hai par achanak aisa hua ki mein kuch samajh nahi paa raha hoon yaar and I am sure being my blood they are facing the same problem par mujhe yakeen hai ki mera aur humara bachon ka rishta sabse alag hoga "thoda hatkae" like you always wanted bas thoda time dho humhe...
Aadhik (gently holding her hand) : haan jaan tumhen pata hi haina ki “yeh” (pointing his father) humare liye kya hai...
Vedhik (holding her other hand) : aur aap yeh bhi janthae hain ki hum theeno hi thoda reserved hai liye thoda time lagtha hai Shona....
Aadhik : par aap hi tho bolthe haina "intezaar ka pal meeta hotha hai" bas aisa hi samaj lijiye....
Vedhik (kissing her hand) : just give us some time shona we will give you your gift let us take it slowly so that our bond shine brighter when you see....
Manik : aur humhe yeh bhi pata hai ki you are getting tensed because you are thinking ki kahi humara rishta aisa hi naah rehjay par trust me nothing will happen of that sort tho ab..
Manik, Aadhik, Vedhik (pouting): please stop crying Mrs.Mallhotra....
Nandini smiles with tears and gives a flying kiss with almost love to them to which her mens does an action like "hayyy mein margaya" making her giggle.. Aadhik and Vedhik wipe her tears which was seen by Manik with admiration and proud but frown when he listens
Aadhik Vedhik (hugging Nandini) : I love you jaan/ Shona
Manik : ek min why both call her Shona and jaan, she is your mother
Nandini giggles as she knows that how possisseve he is for her
Aadhik : we know she our mother
Manik : then call her mom Mumma ya maa yeh Kya hai jaan Shona what is this, aisa lagta hai tum dono ki biwi hai
Vedhik (mischievous look) : are you jealous ?
Manik : no...no at all no I'm not jealous
Aadhik (smirk) : come on you should not be jealous from your sons
Manik : I'm not jelouse okay it's just that before you guys I used to call her Shona jaan with all these names so she is my Shona and jaan tum dono aapne liye koi or dhundo
Aadhik Vedhik pout listen him
Nandini : accha baas chalo ab kuch karte hain mein bore ho rahi hoon....
Vedhik : kya karein?
Aadhi : kuch khele kya?
Manik : haan...par kya khelein ?
Vedhik : good question..
Aadhik : okay I have got a game...I will say a word and others should say a word which reminds you of that word like for example if someone says "hurt" tho I will say "pain" like that you all should say a word...okay?
Others : done..
Manik : Tho Vedhik shuru karega....
Vedhik (pointing himself) : me ?
Aadhik (sarcastically) : nahin ghar ke Bahar wala watch man, Tera naam Vedhik Hain na ?
Vedhik : saale main baas confirm Kar raha tha
Aadhik : yaa...now start...
Vedhik : okay (thinks for some seconds) peace and for me it's sketching.....
Nandini : you three.
Aadhik : music
Manik : Nandini...
And the other three smile at him....
Nandini : ab mein...
She smirks at her sons who give her a confused look....
Nandini : superhero and mine is "Abhi bhai"
Manik : "papas"
They both look towards their sons who were looking at each other with a nervous smile..
Nandini (innocently) : bolona beta...
Aadhik : voh...voh
Manik listens to him curiously
Aadhik : he..
Nandini : kaun?
Vedhik : aapko pata haina shona....
Nandini(shrugging her shoulder) : nahi tho mujhe nahi pata ab bolo dono...
Aadhik & Vedhik (looking at Manik) : papa...
And there flows an emotions inside Manik's heart which he had never experienced..he can't find whether it is "pride" or "happiness" or anything else he didn't know how to react so he just passes them a smile but that's enough for them to know how happy he is...
Aadhik : Ab meri baari...the word is "Malhothras" and it is "handsome"
Nandini (makes a bad face) : kuch bhi...it's "Ego" for me....
Vedhik : charming
Manik : Smart
Manik : tho ab mein..."past" and it is "hell" for me (with a sad smile)
Vedhik (looking at Manik) : missing
Aadhik (looking at Manik) : waiting
Nandini (with slight tears) : worst dream..
Manik : tho bool jauna tumlog
They all nod at him with a smile
Vedhik (mischieviously) : first love and it is music for me
Manik (looking at Nandini) : Nandini
Nandini (looking at Manik) : Manik
Aadhik (dreamly) : Aaro..
Manik widens his eyes at his son's answer seeing which Vedhik and Nandini breaks into laughter
Manik : kaun kaun aaro?
Aadhik (shrugging his shoulders) : first love !
Manik (rolling his eyes) : don't act smart bachu...meine poocha kaun hai voh "aaro"
Nandini (laughing) : may be humari "bahu"
Manik (shouts) : what ? kya bol rahe ho tum? "bahu?" like seriously?
Vedhik (innocently) : kya Aadhik pooch rahe haina bolo voh kaun hai?
Manik : tumlog usse tease maat karo kuch bhi bolke...
Nandini : acha hum jhoot bol rahe hain? tho poocho aapne bete sae chup kyun hai voh?
And that creates a confusion in Manik's mind Manik raises his eyebrow at his son for an answer seeing which Aadhik becomes nervous and says
Aadhik : Aditya mamu ki beti...
Seeing him becoming nervous they decide to continue the game they continue to play till they get bored and at the end of the game they got to know each other a little. When they end the game Manik stands up to leave.
Nandini : kahi jaa rahe ho?
Manik : haan...avni se baath karne..
Nandhini nods her head with a smile to which he returns the same and moves out....
He moves to avni's room but finds only his niece sleepingpeacefully. Then he searches for avni in kitchen but she was not there. After searching the entire house something strikes his mind and he runs towards garden and sighs seeing her there, at their favourite place. He walks towards her slowly and sits beside her...
