"Im putting on my shoes , I'm coming" mora said rolling her eyes
Jay is taking his sister to go shopping and to the firework stand, she been asking her mom all week but every time she asked her mom she would get beat or her mom would tell her no so mora never asked her mom again.
"For you to be 8 you sholl do take forever to get dressed" Jay told her

They both got in the car , Jay was getting ready to pull off until a car stopped next to them and rolled down they window
"Yooo pops that car nice as hell" jay told his pops

"Yea I like your car"mora said
"Preciate it " Darius said smiling
"I'm finna take her spoiled ass shopping then to the firework stand" Jay tells his pops
"You need money" Darius asked trying to hold in his laugh, Jay hate when his pops try to play him like he broke
"Don't start with me old ass man" Jay and mora laughed then they pulled off
2 hour later
"Girl come on we been hea all day" Jay mugged his sister
"Ok ok one more store" mora smile at her brother
"Ight twin come on" jays sighed
"She got yo ass wrapped around ha finger"jay best friend trey told him
"No she don't" jay shrugged
"Yes she do bro , you haven't told ha ass no since we walked in this mall" trey shook his head laughing
"Mmcht find some business nigga" Jay mugged Trey
They continued following mora around the mall Jay wasn't trynna stay to long because he had "business" to take care of , but anything to see his baby sister happy
2 hours later
Jay and mora was pulling up to the house and seen hella polices around they house ,Jay quickly parked so him and mora hopped out.
"What tha fuck going on" Jay yelled at everybody
"Sir please don't raise your voice I'll have you arrested" the officer said
"Mane getcho ass out my face you ain finna arrest shit"Jay mugged the police officer
"Don't touch my son" Darius mugged walking out the house in handcuffs
"Pops what's happening why they taking you"mora cried
"Don't cry babygirl I'm so sorry I'm leaving you I'll write and call you when I can" he told

"I love you princess" Darius added
"I love you too pops" Mora said
Jay walked up to his his dad
"Jay look in my safe and it's something in there explaining everything take care of my babygirl and my other one when she comes I'm trusting you with everything son I love you"Darius said mumble so only Jay can hear him
"I will pops , I love you too" Jay sighed then the police put Darius in the car an left
"FUCK MAN" jay yelled trynna contain his emotions he didn't know what to do from here.
Jay walked in the house to see his sister crying then he looked at the top of the stairs and seen their mom smirking Jay thought he was tripping so he left it alone and went to comfort his sister.
"Stop crying twin im here for you I'll always be" Jay said rubbing her back
"I'm gonna miss him so much" mora cried
" I know , I am too but I can take you to visit him on his visiting days" Jay told her
Jay knew this was finna take a huge turn in there life but he know he gotta hold it down for pops so he ready for whatever that's comes.
1 year later
"DIDNT I TELL YOU TO STOP EATING SHIT IN MY KITCHEN"mora mom yelled while beating her
"I-I'm sorry I won't do it again please stop" mora said crying
Since their dad got locked up their mom Nicole beat mora more often for every little thing , Jay don't know because he moved out and she always cover her bruises when he's around him
"Get out my kitchen before I fuck you up again bitch" Nicole mugged rubbing her 8 month belly
3 hours later
" twin you wanna come with me" Jay asked his sister
"Yea" mora mumbled
"You okay princess" Jay frowned
"Yea"mora smiled
Jay and mora got in the car , he pulled out the driveway
"Where we going"mora asked
"To the park with Trey and his nephew"Jay told her looking at her trynna figure out what's wrong with her he sensed something was off because mora not talking his ear off like she always do when they together
They pulled up to the park mora got out and she said a quick hey to Trey before getting on the swings.
They been at the park for a little while so they decided to walk to the corner store that's across the street from the park. To get snacks
"What you want twin" Jay looked down at mora
"Um I don't know yet"mora shrugged
"Yo big head ass don't never kno nothing , I'll be concerned if I was Jay" Trey laughed
"Shut up nigga damn"jay mugged Trey
" you always mugging somebody yo face gon get stuck like that ugly ass dude" Trey said and mora laughed which made Jay turn to look at her
"Oh you think that shit funny buy yo snacks then" Jay mugged mora
"I'm sorry bubba"Mora said still laughing
"Ok mora now u dragging it"Jay said
They all walked in the store walking around grabbing snacks and Jay got some woods for later.
"$30.15"the cashier said
"Damn you paying"Trey looked at Jay
"You broke as fuck move out my way slim Jim built ass nigga" Jay said and mora bust out laughing
They walk out the store walking back to the park , a car was slowly rolling up on them from behind , little did they know the car been watching them since they pulled up to the park , the car let they window down some and Jay turned around seen a gun was pointing at mora he stopped which made everybody stop an turn around
Jay hurried and hopped in front of mora before shots went off , Jay fell to the ground and the car sped off, mora drop to the ground trynna hold Jay wound while Trey called the ambulance
"Jay talk to me please don't close your eyes"mora cried
"T-twin I'm tired I can't"Jay told her trynna keep his eyes open
"Please stay with me they coming jay please I can't lose you bubba you all I got please Jay"mora cried
"I'm s-sorry t-twin"Jay closed his eyes and the ambulance came and rushed him to the hospital
1 hour later
Trey and mora was in the waiting room , Nicole haven't came up here or even called to see if Jay was okay and that pissed mora off
They told them Jay was in surgery , it might take a while because he got shot 6 times. Mora can only think that this is her fault and it should've been her not Jay
"Mora get out ya head you didn't kno it was gon go down like that" Trey looked at her
"It's my fault Trey if he don't make it , its gonna be my fault"mora mumble
Trey sighed he didn't really kno what to say his trying his best to comfort her " don't say that he's gonna make it"Trey said
"Family of jaylen smith" the doctor announced and Trey and mora quickly got up waiting for her to talk
"I'm sorry he didn't make it"she said
"N-no that can't be right please that's not right"mora sobbed
"I'm sorry he lost so much blood during surgery and he flatlined"she told them walking away Trey hugged mora
"T-Trey I c-can't breathe" mora said hyperventilating
"Mora calm down count with me"Trey rubbed her back walking out the hospital to take her home
They pulled up to her house , mora was scared to get out because she didn't know what mood Nicole was in right now
"Mora if you ever need something call me ok imma alway be here for you" Trey told her she nodded and got out
She walked in and seen Nicole standing at the door
"So you fucking yo brother friend" Nicole looked at her in disgust
"What No momma" mora looked at crazy
"So why he dropping you off and not Jay , don't make me beat yo ass bitch" she mugged mora while mora was crying when she mentioned her brother
"Momma Jay got shot and he died during surgery"mora cried
"Well he knew what was coming being in the streets"Nicole shrugged walking away
From here mora knew that everything was finna go downhill and nobody would be here to save her , she know the only person that got her is herself. Mora know Nicole don't care for her so she gon have to learn to take care of her self at a young age
