Why is the play pen EMPTY?! Calm down… maybe he’s just hiding somewhere, thinking that this is a joke! I dropped everything on the nearest table and stepped inside the play pen. After a few minutes went by of searching, I started to think that it was HOPELESS! Great! I just lost Charlie AND 80 bucks! I grunted and let myself fall into the ground. I lay there still, thinking about what I am going to say to Aunt Annie and Uncle David about their only kid?! Sorry! I just lost your kids from a play pen! I sighed and how am I going to find Charlie?! Suddenly, my phone rang and a song sung by One Direction filled my thoughts. I miserably rose from the ground and walked over to where my phone was. It was Emily. I picked it up and answered,
“What do you want…”
“Well somebody’s in a grumpy mood!”
“Just tell me what you want!”
“Sorry, I’m not going to tell, unless I get at least a proper hello!”
“Hi.”
“Hi… eh, good enough. How may I insist you?”
“Just tell me what the hell you want!”
“FINE! I was thinking that maybe we could go shopping for the party? You know since I have NOTHING impressive to wear, and I bet you don’t too.”
“Well, I haven’t actually thought about what I’m going to wear yet, so…”
“Seriously?! Okay, can we go shopping at about twelve?”
“Sure… whatever…”
“Now tell me why you’re down!”
I sighed, knowing that she might laugh at me.
“I lost Charlie…”
“WHAT?! And WHO?!”
“Charlie, my baby cousin and I lost him, what’s so hard to understand? Lost, gone, unseen-”
“I get it, I get it! HOW DID YOU LOOSE A BABY?!”
“He just not in his play pen and I looked EVERYWHERE.”
“EVERYWHERE, everywhere? Or just EVERYWHERE?”
“What?”
“I mean did you look anywhere else?”
I faced-palm myself. This is why I should tell my friends my situations! They always look past the stupid me!
“Yeah… I got to do something urgent…”
“You are going to look EVERYWHERE everywhere now are you?”
“No… maybe… YES.”
I clicked end call and headed straight inside my house.
