"Jisooo! Here!"
Lisa yelled from the table trying to attract the attention of the older who hurried to their place as soon as she saw her.
"Hey, sorry I'm late. The professor didn't want to let us go today..."
Jisoo complained
"You have Professor Lee, don't you?"
Seulgi asked, familiar with the behavior of that professor
"Yup! Do you have him too?"
"Yes! He teaches literature in my class!"
"Korean in mine!"
"He's so boring, right?"
"Yeah... once he starts talking he never stops"
Jisoo rolled her eyes as she thought of her annoying professor
"I'm lucky then, I don't have him"
Chae interjected
"Me too"
Agreed Lisa.
"Me three"
Continued Jennie
The girls were sitting at a table in the corner of the cafeteria, on one side were Rosé and Seulgi, on the other Lisa, Jennie and Jisoo.
Before, Lisa was about to sit down with Chaeyoung, she was going to sit between her and Seulgi, but before she could sit down, Jennie pulled her towards her, forcing her to sit with her.
'What the hell is wrong with her today?....'
Lisa thought looking at Jennie next to her.
Her behavior didn't bother her but she didn't understand the reason for her sudden change.
'It's so weird ....'
Jennie felt someone else's eyes on her and then turned to Lalisa's direction.
They looked at each other in silence.
Just like Lisa didn't understand her behavior, even Jennie didn't understand the reason for her actions lately.
Or maybe she knew but was just trying to deny it.
'It could never be ... not lisa.'
The brunette thought, trying to take her eyes off the blonde, who, however, attracted her more and more to herself.
"Hey..."
Lisa broke the silence first.
Jennie gasped slightly, only now she realized their closeness.
"Hey."
Their shoulders touched and their faces were quite close.
If Lisa wouldn't be thinking about so many things, she would've probably panic.
"Is everything ok?"
The blonde asked her, tilting her head slightly, like a puppy
'God...'
Jennie felt something in her stomach.
She immediately diverted her eyes and moved away slightly.
"Yes, of course..."
She answered her as she looked at her plate.
'What the heck was that? ...'
Jennie wondered internally as she tried hard not to blush.
"Ok..."
Lisa turned her attention back to her plate and started eating again, trying to ignore certain thoughts.
"So Jendukie. You let Kai accompany you?"
The two girls' attention was drawn to Jisoo who looked at Jennie as if she had just committed the worst crime.
"What?"
The brunette asked her, not really understanding.
"In class, this morning. Rosie told me everything"
"Oh ... yeah ... I didn't want to tell him no"
Jennie composed herself looking around the cafeteria, trying to find the boy with her eyes.
Lisa clenched her fists under the table, not wanting to even hear his name.
"You know Jennie ... I don't really like that guy"
Confessed Chaeyoung.
Jennie looked at her in surprise.
"What do you mean?"
"He's not very... well... Educated?"
"Who? Kim Jongin?"
Seulgi asked as she was listening
"Yes"
Jisoo answered her
"Oh, I know him"
"For real?"
Lisa asked curiously.
"Yes, he's my Ex"
"WHAT?!"
Lisa freaks out.
"That kai is-WHAT?!"
Rosé already stood up in amazement. This is something she definitely wasn't expecting.
"Your ... ex?"
Jennie asked, frowning at Seulgi involuntarily.
"Yeah ... He was ... it was quite a short thing, nothing special in sum"
Seulgi simply replied, a little intimidated by the other brunette's death stare.
"What was he like?"
Jisoo asked suspiciously.
She didn't like Kai.
Not even a bit.
Any excuse would've been good to get Jennie away from that arrogant self-centered dog.
"In bed? Decent."
"SEULGI!"
Chaeyoung yelled.
The question was obviously not focused on that and Rosé especially, did not want to know anything about it.
In the group, surely the most innocent person it's her.
She likes her innocence, and would lie to keep it.
"You see ... I meant as a boyfriend Seulgi, you know dating, cuddles- things of that kind Seulgi"
Jisoo told her as she massaged her temples in exasperation.
"Oh! Hahah!... Kai isn't exactly that kind of boyfriend. Dates? Never had one. Cuddles? The most you could get are a hug or a kiss on the cheek on the halls at school and....yeah, he's rather the...exhibitionist in bed type..."
"Ah Ha! Jennie! Do you seriously want to go out with a guy like that?"
Jisoo pointed a finger in the brunette's direction, happy to have some excuses to dump the boy.
"He seems like a nice guy to me ... he's kind and a gentleman. I don't think it's a problem"
'It wouldn't last a month anyway...'
Jennie replied calmly, ignoring the hateful looks of Lisa, Chaeyong and Jisoo.
"I... I don't think he's a good boy for you ..."
Lisa tried to intrude, not looking anyone in the eye.
"Well ... he's not exactly the best golden prince...but you can't really complain."
Seulgi continued
"He's Meh"
"50s and 50s in short"
Chaeyoung said looking at Seulgi
"Nah, more like 35 and 65"
Seulgi spoke back.
Clearly she doesn't care much of the boy
"Well, I like him. So I don't care"
Jennie said drawing all eyes to her
"You're kidding, me aren't you? ..."
Chaeyoung stared at Jennie in disbelief
Lisa felt a Crackle from her heart.
She would have succumbed in moments
"You're Incredible Jennie Kim, Incredible ..."
Jisoo pulls herself back, explicitly pointing out her disapproval on Jennie's words.
Jennie simply ignored her but got slightly weirded out when she saw Rosé looking worriedly at Lisa, who still hasn't spoken a word.
Dazed, Jennie turns slightly, just enough to see Lisa but not enough to be noticed.
When she saw the look in her eyes, something in her wobbled.
