Powerless I must sight,
Death swallowing up the dead in the night.
I fear death will drown in me decay,
Taking all my loved ones away.
On the other hand, death feels comforting.
Always an option to prevent you from hurting.
Isn't it kind of a last escape,
you can always turn to before it's too late?
Now it's only me, fantasizing about my own death,
wondering when will be my last breath?
Because in a world of broken promises,
death is something you can always count on.
