The teens quickly looked at Fuyu, making the male snort and almost laugh, by how quick and in-sync they were, but he hid it with a smile, he was surprised they didn't get a whiplash from that
"Hmm?.. Did I say something wrong?"Fuyu asked pretending to be confused
"No, Fuyu-kun.. It's just-"
They hear footsteps going down the stairs and turn towards it to see Kazutora
"Ohh.. Hey"Kazutora greets surprised to see the teens in the living room
"Mornin"Fuyu greets at him with a smile
Kazutora nods with a smile on his face, still half asleep, the teens wanted to ask about the photo but Fuyu beat them to it
"Alright, we still need to make breakfast"Fuyu informs as he held Kazutora's hand
"Can we have pancakes?"Pah-chin asked, while Peh-yan nods beside him
"Sure, anything else?"Fuyu asked as he Kazutora makes their way towards the kitchen
"Uhm.. Bacon?"Peh-yan follows, while the other teens frown, at not being able to ask Kazutora about the photo
The teens tried to ask Kazutora about it, but Fuyu always changes the subject or interrupts them, the wedding photo was also nowhere to be found, but the teens knew Fuyu had hidden it somewhere after showing it to them
The teens eventually gave up when it was time for them to leave, to attend the meeting that they scheduled for the day, leaving Kazutora and Chifuyu in the house
Kazutora turns to Chifuyu once the teens left the house"Did you do something?.."he asked with one eyebrow raised
Chifuyu smiles at him and shakes his head"They're probably just curious about something"
"What thing exactly?"Kazutora asked but Chifuyu didn't answer him
Kazutora bit his lips before looking towards the door, he wanted to visit Izana and Kakucho, but he doesn't know if its a good idea to be alone or bring Chifuyu
"Something wrong, Tora?"Chifuyu asked, when he noticed how quiet Kazutora have become
"Nothing, Fuyu. I was just thinking if I should go out tonight or tomorrow"he replies looking at him
"Hmm.. What for?"Chifuyu tilts his head to the side looking at him
"It's nothing, I'll just do it tomorrow"Kazutora shakes his head and lays his head on Chifuyu's lap
"If you say so.."Chifuyu looks at him before he started stroking his head
"Should we talk about how to explain it to them once they find out?"Kazutora asked after a few seconds of silence
"Got any plans in mind?"Chifuyu asked as he looks at him
"I don't know.. I was hoping that maybe you did"Kazutora replies looking at him
This made Chifuyu laugh"We're really bad at this, huh?"he asked as he continues to stroke Kazutora's head
"We really are"Kazutora agrees as he laughs
"I think I should do the explaining"Chifuyu informs after they stopped laughing
"Fine by me"Kazutora replies before looking up at Chifuyu, who laughs"Hey! Are you telling me I'm bad at explaining?"he asked with furrowed eyebrows
"No, I didn't"Chifuyu denies as he continues to laugh, making Kazutora pout
"Hey!"Chifuyu looks up at him when he fell on the sofa, with Kazutora on top of him
"Take it back"Kazutora glares at him, but Chifuyu laughs, because of how he looks cute instead of intimidating
"Alright, alright I'm sorry"Chifuyu complies once Kazutora got off him
Kazutora crosses his arms in front of his chest and sat on the opposite side of the couch, to Chifuyu, he clearly looks like he's pouting, but he didn't want to upset him anymore, so he sat beside him and placed a hand on his arm, while the other on his head, Kazutora didn't turn to him though but he kept avoiding his gaze
"I'm sorry, I won't do it again"Chifuyu apologized before smirking"You just looked so cute, I couldn't help it"he adds, making Kazutora look at him in surprise before his face turned red, along with his ears
"W-What?.."Kazutora turns away from Chifuyu but the male already saw his red face"No, I'm not. Stop joking, Chifuyu"he adds
Chifuyu smiles and hugs Kazutora by standing up and placing the male's head on his torso, his head stroking Kazutora's head, while the later wraps his arms around him
'It's true though..' Chifuyu wanted to say, but he can't tell him that, so he just closed his mouth shut
"Let's go to sleep, yeah?"Chifuyu offers and Kazutora nods
Once they make it towards their shared room, Kazutora immediately ran towards the bathroom, making Chifuyu chuckle
'He must still be embarrassed' Chifuyu thinks to himself as he goes towards the closet, to grab a change of clothes
The next morning, Kazutora left the house early, to buy things he needed to prepare a feast before going straight to the apartment Kakucho and Izana stayed
Once he arrived, multiple pair of eyes looked at him, making him uncomfortable, but he pulled through by smiling as he enters
"Hey... I brought food"he lifts up his hand, where the plastic bags, containing the ingredients were, while his other hand closes the door behind him
"Aniki, welcome back!"Kakucho greets him with a smile
Kazutora felt thankful to him, because unlike the others, who's clearly looking at him like they're planning murder, he didn't look at him like he's some sort of alien
"Have you guys have dinner yet?"he asked as he makes his way towards the kitchen, catching a glimpse of someone familiar among the group in the living room
"Not yet, aniki"Kakucho replies as he looks at the others, since it seems like he's the only one who seems to not mind Kazutora being here
"I'll be preparing dinner then"Kazutora informs as he turns around to rummage through the cabinets, for the tools needed for his cooking
Kazutora's smile fell as he puts on a headset that's connected to his mp3, to make it seem like he can't hear what the group was talking about, he is listening to music, its just in a lower volume than normal
While Kazutora was in the kitchen, the group in the living room looks at Kakucho and Izana with a questioning gaze
"So he's the guy that took you in, huh?"a male with braids, where the top and bottom are dyed asked with a smirk
"Don't mind him.."Izana waves his hand and looks at the tanned male wearing glasses"What plan are we talking about?"he asked, referring to the plan the male proposed when he reached out to him
Kazutora meanwhile, was gripping the knife in his hand with rage, he wanted to just stab someone right now but he knew he couldn't, he just wants to throw the knife in his hand straight to Kisaki's head and kill him, but then again, killing him without torturing him will be no fun
He wanted him to experience the things he did to the others in his timeline before killing him, he won't let him off the hook that easily, he wanted to listen in and tell the details to Chifuyu once he goes back home, it might be useful to Takemichi and the others
He can't let anything happen to them, specially Chifuyu, he'd rather not involve them in anything to be honest, but everything that happened, and is happening, revolves around them, just because some guy wanted a girl to himself
Kazutora rolls his eyes at this and clicks his tongue as he chops carrots, he might as well sabotage Kisaki's plans now before he could even start, since he's basically asking for it
"Don't worry about your sister, I'll have Hanma take care of her"
Kazutora's movements stopped as he hears what Kisaki spat out of his mouth and his brows furrowed
'Sister?.. What's he talking about? Izana doesn't have a sister according to Kakucho' Kazutora was confused but kept listening
"I'll leave Emma to you then, leave Mikey to me"Izana replies and Kazutora's breath hitched
'M-Mikey?.. Mikey and Emma.. They're talking about Mikey and Emma?!'
Kazutora wanted to march in there and ask what Izana means, but he clearly already knew the answer, now he's wondering what kind of grudge Izana has on Mikey and Emma, to be able to easily throw away their life like this
Throughout the night, Kazutora was restless, but he needed to appear to be clueless about the things the group talked about involving Toman
He needed to warn Chifuyu about this, no.. He needed to find away to stop things from escalating the way Kisaki wanted it to
He appeared to be a nice and clueless person to the group as they ate dinner, with Kakucho being the only one wanting to start conversations with him, along with Kisaki constantly observing him, to which he returns with a glare, whenever they make eye contact, making the male uncomfortable
'That's right, you asshole! Don't ever try and hurt my family again, or you'll be facing much more worse things than death'
Kazutora waves the group goodbye as he leaves with a smile on his face and once he closes the door, he sprints out of the building and went straight to Mikey's house
Once he arrives, he mentally facepalms himself and looks around"What now?"he asked himself
He wanted to make sure Emma was safe and sound, he didn't know where or when Kisaki will strike, so he wanted to see her, he might've panicked there but what can he do, he'll have to constantly monitor Emma from now on, to prevent something bad from happening to her
With that plan in mind, Kazutora turns around to leave, but he stops once he hears a gate opening, followed by a familiar voice
"Aniki? What are you doing here? Are you looking for Mikey?"
Kazutora smiles before turning around"Hey, Emma.."he nervously waves a hand as he greets her"Just taking a stroll. I was told Mikey lives around here somewhere, so I decided to check it out"he informs
Honestly, he's surprised he still remembers where Mikey's house is, since he's only been there once, courtesy of Baji, who's constantly pestering him on visiting him, to be able to ask for help, incase he gets into trouble with other people
He only agreed because he didn't have a choice, specially when he got into trouble with the Black Dragons
"Ohh.. Should I call Mikey then? He'll be surprised to see you here"she smiles at him and he shakes his head to hide his frown
He'll do anything to protect the things precious to not just Mikey, but also Takemichi, specially Chifuyu, he wouldn't want anything to happen to any of them, specially if he could do anything to stop it
"No need, I need to head home soon"he informs and she nods before smiling
"In that case.. Can you accompany me tomorrow, aniki?"she asked with hopeful eyes
Kazutora smiles before nodding"Sure, I have nothing to do tomorrow anyways"
"Thank you, aniki"she smiles as she approaches him
He was surprised when she hugs him and he smiles before ruffling her hair"Alright, better head back inside. You don't want Mikey to be mad, would you?"he asked and she pouts
"Don't ruin the moment, aniki"once she lets go of the hug he laughs
"Sorry, I just don't want to face Mikey's wrath right now"
"Mikey's too much sometimes, but that's why I love him"she smiles as she walks back towards the gate
"Take care of him for me"he waves as she closes the gate"And also take care of yourself"he adds and she nods
"I will, aniki. Thank you"Emma smiles at him as the gate closes completely
Kazutora turns around and sighs, conversing with people really does take a huge energy off of him and he isn't really good with people, or keeping up relationships, that's why sometimes he'd rather have Chifuyu do the talking when they're together
He's really thankful for Chifuyu for being there for him for a lot of reasons, but he feels like everything he did, even if he changed for the better, won't change the past and mistakes that he did, which lead them to where they are now
Kazutora arrived late at night and went straight to his shared bedroom with Chifuyu, not noticing the said male looking at him as he passed by the living room
Chifuyu raised an eyebrow when he sees Kazutora just walking past him without even greeting him, Kazutora seems to be out of it, considering he just basically ignored him and didn't hear the sound of the tv, that's clearly playing a channel where they document crime scenes
Chifuyu turns the tv off before following after Kazutora and sees him already in bed without changing his clothes, he sighs and lays beside Kazutora on the bed
"Hey.. You okay?"he asked but he got no answer"Kazutora?.."he tried calling his name but Kazutora was still not responding
'Is he really that dazed to not hear or acknowledge me?' Chifuyu thinks to himself as he checks if Kazutora was asleep and he finds Kazutora already asleep
'Guess not..' he shrugs and lays back down on the bed, wrapping his arms around Kazutora before falling asleep

Hello~ Sorry I was gone for like two months...
Just had my phone and laptop privileges taken haha :)
So I had to refresh my memory and all that, I also had another idea for a story that I'm currently writing now
I might publish the first chapter and see how people take it and then continue from there, I already wrote at least like five chapters?..
I'm still not sure though.. So I might not publish it until I have the full plan on the story from start to finish
