"I- yes, i do. But maybe i don't, maybe it's just the feelings i had for Pink that are making me believe i love you, I don't know Steven." I said, feeling slightly relieved that he knows now but also terrified that he might not feel the same
"I'm not my mom" He stated and i didn't know what to say. I knew he wasn't her, he was similar to her, with wanting freedom for the gems, to live on earth, not wanting to be a diamond but he was also different from her, very different, in his own ways.
"I know...but-" i started but he cut me off "and you're not the same as you were when you were with her either. I'm sorry she didn't share your feelings but it's not fair to judge me like that. Im not my mom. I have her gem but im not her, i don't feel what she felt, i dont think how she thought." He spoke, he seemed to become angrier as he spoke
"I'm not my mom. I didn't do what she did, i make my own decisions, i think my own thoughts, i am my own person, and it's not great that she didn't like you back, i get that but im not her, you don't get to judge me like that, you don't get to assume how i feel, not like the diamonds did, not like the gems did in the beginning, not ever!" He was now yelling, his skin turning pink as he started walking toward me
"I've been trying to talk to you all day but you've been avoiding me since we fused! I've been trying to tell you how i feel" he said stopping in front of me
"Steven...you're turning pink" i spoke, knowing how dangerous pink was whenever she'd throw a tantrum, he could be just as dangerous when upset.
"I'm not. My mom." He spoke, his voice lower than before
"I'm sorry" i said, waiting for him to push me, hit me or yell more.
"You're not her, i get that. Im sorry Steven, I've been trying to compare you two, trying to make sense of why i cared so much about you. You're not her, you're you. I did exactly what everyone else did, compared you to her but you're two different beings, im sorry, okay?" I said, feeling the tears run down my face.
He was turning back to his human color again, seeming to calm down when i started crying "you're not her" i said looking at him "im me" i spoke in a softer tone before hugging me
"Im sorry i got mad.." he said once he let go of me "you had every right to, i should have just talked to you"
"Are we done with the 'weirdness' between us now?" I asked as i finally stopped crying and wiped the tears away. He gave a small smile "yeah"
"Can we talk for real now? No yelling or getting mad?" He asked and i nodded walking over to my bed with him.

yes there was repeating in the yelling because i know when im mad and i yell/ cry while yelling, i will repeat things, idk why i just do so i added it in and i also tend to say the name of the person im yelling/talking to a lot in those types of situations so i had (y/n) say steven a lot
