each other's hearts until there's
only blackholes left to
absorb the pain and rip it apart while
self-destructing at the same time
uranium bullets / titanium bombs / methane dynamite
the weapons meant to be used for
fighting each other's battles,
meant for shooting away asteroids that
come our way and the poisonous gas
eruptions from jealous moons, meant for
saving each other, protecting
each other but instead we
aim the guns at each other now,
we destroy each other with swords
made of constellations and lasers of
gamma ray bursts until it turns our
skin into crushed stars and our arsenal into
ash and when that happens we tear
at each other with needle like hair meant to be
braided into galaxies and nails
meant to trace the other's face tenderly,
so tell me now, the one i used to love:
where are you now?
were we only just a mere fantasy,
