Author's Note: Hey guys! Finally happy to be updating again!! :D
Ok so I saw Age of Ultron 4 times...
Amazing.
So freakin amazing.
I really really want to use Ultron in this story, but I won't do anything with him yet because what I do may include spoilers from the movie.
I have yet to decide whether or not I'm going to do something that happened in the movie or go with my ship.. I have to think about it a bit.
But anywho, go see it! I won't add any spoilers from it for a few weeks so you all have some time xD
Here it goes!!
"Move it," the SHIELD agent told to the girl he was holding in handcuffs. He didn't understand why Mr. Stark seemed to be collecting random people off the streets. It seemed a bit peculiar, and possibly quite dangerous. But, he had his orders, and he had to follow them. Technically SHIELD didn't even exist anymore, though, so if he wanted to he could just walk out. Walking out probably wasn't in his best interest because he would no longer have a job then. He enjoyed what was left over from SHIELD too, it was much less stressful than when the organization was fully formed and unaware that Hydra was concealing itself in their ranks.
Katniss rolled her eyes and picked up the pace. She glanced over her shoulder at Peeta and Gale, who looked just as pissed off as she felt. Where were these men bringing them? They had gone into that big building with the A, went into an elevator, and brought to the 10th floor. Now they were being forcefully shoved down the hallway.
When the SHIELD agent holding Katniss approached a silver door, he stopped and turned to the other agents. "This is the one. Be careful when you open it. We just need to get them in and lock it."
Peeta gasped quietly when he heard what the agent said. "What's in there?" He wondered aloud.
"You're about to find out," the agent holding him replied. He took off Peeta's cuffs and held him tightly by the arm.
The first agent did the same to Katniss and scanned his access card on a screen adjacent to the door. He turned back to see if the other agents had gotten their prisoners out of the cuffs before twisting the handle and opening the door. With a mighty shove, he pushed Katniss into the room full of confused people. Gale and Peeta were pushed in right after her.
As soon as Gale regained his footing, he turned towards the door to run at the agents, but found it had been slammed and locked. "Crap," he mumbled before turning back to his friends. He looked at Katniss and Peeta and saw they were focused on what was ahead of them. He turned his head to see the room full of strange people and furrowed his brows.
"Welcome to the party!" Dean said sarcastically and stepped towards the three strangers.
"I'm going to apologize ahead of time for my brother's attitude," Sam said quickly. "We've been here for a couple hours and he's starving."
Dean hit Sam's arm and glared at him for a moment.
"Hello," Peeta said, deciding not to be awkward and speak up. If he learned anything from the games, it was that he needed to be a crowd pleaser. The only way to survive was to win over the audience. Hopefully he wouldn't be fighting for his life here, but it was best to become friend's with these guys anyway.
"What's your name, lad?" Balin asked Peeta, getting off the black couch he had been sitting on.
"I'm Peeta Mellark." He nudged Katniss lightly, hoping she would introduce herself. He didn't really care if Gale caught on or not, it was Gale's fault they were in this mess in the first place.
"Oh uhm," Katniss said nervously. "I'm Katniss Everdeen." She forced a smile.
"Gale Hawthorne," he said after her. If only he hadn't gone and stabbed that agent out of fear. The dude pulled a gun on him, what was he suppose to do?
"Dean Winchester," Dean said almost immediately.
"Sam Winchester," Sam said afterwards.
Balin opened his mouth to speak, but he was interrupted by a squealing voice from behind him.
"I'm Anna!" The strawberry blond girl said with a big smile. She pointed to her sister. "That's Elsa." Quickly, she walked up to the front of the line of dwarves and the hobbit. "Ok, I'm going to get it right this time," she mumbled to herself.
Dean ran a hand down his face. "Oh crap, not again."
Anna pointed to Thorin. "Thorin," she moved to Balin. "Balin," she moved to Dwalin. "Dwalin," she moved to Biffur, "Bomber."
"No!" Biffur shouted. "I'm Biffur, Anna! Why do you always think I'm someone else?" He crossed his arms, a little offended.
The round dwarf with the upside-down braided orange beard raised his hand. "I'm Bombur."
Bilbo stepped up to Katniss, Peeta, and Gale. Compared to them, he barely came up to Gale's upper chest. "Bilbo Baggins, of the Shire," he said politely. "Like Sam did before, I'm going to apologize for my friends. There is quite a lot of them so there is no need for you to learn their names." He gave Anna a look then turned back to the three new members of this little posse.
"I'm sure we will learn their names later on," Peeta said. "It's nice to meet you Bilbo, and everyone else." Peeta wanted to say more, but Gale spoke first.
"Can any of you tell us where we are?" He asked, stepping in front of Peeta.
Dean groaned and sat down on a side table. "New York City," he told Gale.
"Is Panem near here?" Gale asked him, hoping he would say yes.
"What the hell is that?" Dean asked, raising an eyebrow. "Look, kid. None of us have ever been here before." He pointed to the dwarves and Bilbo. "These munchkins were on their way to a mountain called Airy-shore before they appeared here randomly."
"Erebor!" Kili shouted, correcting him. Airy-shore, where the hell did he get that from?
"Whatever," Dean grumbled. He pointed to the two girls standing side by side. "They are the queen and princess of some kingdom that I've never heard of."
"Arendelle," Anna told him, crossing her arms.
"And what about you?" Peeta asked. He didn't like Dean. He was rude and sarcastic. Every word he uttered out of his mouth bothered him.
"We're from Kansas," he told Peeta. "But we travel all over the country for our job."
"What do you do?" Katniss asked. Kansas.. she had heard that before. It was a state or something. States were what Panem use to be made up of, before it became Panem. Actually, now that she thought about it, New York was a state too. Had they traveled back in time?
"We're hunters," Sam told him.
"And good ones," Castiel said, appearing from behind Dean.
Dean practically fell off the little table he was sitting on. "What the hell Cas?" He exclaimed. "I literally just told you less than an hour ago to stop doing that!"
Cas shrugged. "Sorry, Dean."
"Who are you?" Gale asked the mysterious trench coat man who just appeared in the room.
"I am Castiel, an angel of the Lord," he told them with a stern expression.
"Didn't this angel say before that he was going to bring wizards to rescue us?" Thorin asked, turning from the electronic fire place he had been staring at. This was much more important than how the weird fireplace worked.
"I did," Cas said with a nod. "They are a little preoccupied right now, but they said I could come back tomorrow. So it looks like you guys will be staying the night here."
"You've got to be joking?" Dwalin groaned.
"How are we suppose to sleep here?" Kili shouted, looking around at his friends, getting them to nod in agreement.
Thorin rolled his eyes. "Keep your mouths shut, we have slept in much worse conditions. At least here we have a roof over our heads and we're protected."
Kili huffed and sat down next to his brother.
"Great, this is just great," Dean grumbled. "I hope none of you snore."
Bilbo scoffed. "Hate to burst your bubble, but more than half of these fellows snore, and loudly too."
Sam patted Dean's back. "It's going to be ok, Dean."
Dean squinted his eyes at Sam. "Don't tell me it's going to be ok. I know it is, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to be angry about the present situation."
When everyone was silent again and had gone back to staring at random spots on the floor and the wall, Katniss sighed loudly, breaking the silence. "It's going to be a long night."

"So where to now, Captain?" Gamora asked while sitting down in the seat next to Peter Quill, aka Starlord.
Quill pondered that question for a moment before spinning his seat towards his green female companion and smirked. "Now isn't that an interesting question. And for once, I don't have an answer to it."
"I did not find that question interesting," Drax blurted out. He was sitting in his seat, directly behind Quill's, tightly buckled in and ready for takeoff. He had a hard time understanding sarcasm and took everything that everyone said literally.
"I found it very interesting!" Rocket interjected, walking over to his seat with a grin on his tiny little racoon face. Yes, Rocket was a racoon, an actual racoon. But unlike other raccoons, Rocket could speak, eat actual food, and get dressed. A couple of scientists thought it would be a good idea to experiment on the poor guy. Poor thing still denies he is a racoon sometimes, or at least tries to convince himself otherwise.
"I thought it was quite interesting too, Rocket, thank you." Quill smiled and turned his head to face the pot on the dashboard of his ship, the Milano. "I bet you did too, didn't ya, Groot?"
Groot, who was a walking tree until he sacrificed himself to save Peter, Gamora, Drax, and Rocket, was now a baby tree. Slowly but surely, he was growing and becoming what he had once been. He nodded his little, oddly shaped head and smiled. His ability to speak, even if it was only three words, hadn't developed yet, so all he could do was nod and shake his head.
"What if we went to your planet?" Gamora suggested with a smug look on her face. She would admit that she liked Peter a little, but she would never get romantically involved with him. She just thought he was funny, really. Especially when he got nervous.
Rocket's eyes widened. "Terra? You want to go to Terra? Are you out of your mind, woman!?" He shouted. "Terra is a disgusting place, full of garbage. And yes, the inhabitants count as part of that garbage!"
Quill crossed his arms. "Hey, you watch your mouth. That is my home planet you're talking about. And obviously, I am not garbage."
Rocket scoffed. "You keep telling yourself that, buddy."
From his pot, Groot glared at Rocket angrily.
"What?" Rocket asked as if he had done nothing. "I wasn't being mean! I was just telling the truth!"
"I do not believe Mr. Quill is garbage," Drax said.
Quill smiled. "Thank you, Drax!"
"But I do believe his planet is," he finished.
Quill frowned at Drax. "Backstabber," he said quietly.
"I did not stab your back," Drax said, very confused.
Rocket rolled his eyes. "Don't take everything literally, ya dope! How many times do we have to tell you?"
Drax shrugged. "I do not know. You tell me."
"How about both of you shut up? Ok?" Quill told them before they could bicker any further.
"And how about you take us to Terra," Gamora said quickly, a smirk on her face.
Quill spun his seat towards the window and sighed heavily. Did he really want to take them to Earth? One of them was green, one of them was big and blue, one of them was a racoon, and the other was a tree! Could you get a more out of place group? How was he going to get these guys to fit in anywhere on Earth?
"So Quill, what are you thinking?" Rocket asked, breaking the moment of silence.
He spun back around to face his friends and nodded. "Fine! I'll take you there. But you guys can't do anything stupid, ok?"
Gamora rolled her eyes. "I think you should be telling yourself that, Starlord."
Quill stuck out his tongue at her in a childish manner and buckled himself into his seat. His hand hovered over the hyperdrive button for a moment, deciding whether he wanted to get this over with, or delay as long as possible and hope they all changed their mind. After glancing around the room at them all one last time, he decided to just go for it. He gripped the steering wheel with one hand and pressed the button with the other. Within 30 seconds, the Milano had powered itself up and sped off straight towards the destination Quill had feared his friends would one day want to go, Terra aka planet Earth.
***********************************
After a bumpy atmosphere entrance, Quill decided it was time to do some thinking. He needed to choose a place on Earth to visit. The first place that popped up in his mind was Egypt, this way he could stick his friends in a desert and no one would have to see them. Not that he was ashamed of them, but he was a bit concerned about how strange they would look to the other humans. He decided against it because it was too hot in the desert and he didn't really want to stand outside just incase, for some reason, any of them liked being there.
The next place he thought of might be the best place to bring them. And that place was none other than the Big Apple itself, New York City. None of them had ever seen a place like New York before. They might be interested, but definitely frightened of the new surroundings. But the best part about bringing them to New York was that they would all hate it there. The hustle and bustle, the noise, the rude people. It was the perfect trap! If they went there, they would hate it so much that they would want to leave!
"Dam, Starlord you are brilliant," he accidentally said out loud.
"What? Did you figure out how to add numbers?" Rocket joked.
"Very funny, Rocket. But I actually just came up with the best place to bring you all for your first visit to Earth!"
Gamora glanced over at him, raising an eyebrow. "Did you now? What place is that?"
Quill smirked. "You'll see. It's a surprise!" By saying that, he got some skeptical looks thrown his way, but the smile just wouldn't leave his face.
It wasn't long before they were flying over the city and Quill was trying to find a place to land. This was possibly going to be the most difficult part of the trip. New York city was a crowded place, buildings on every corner and lined up on every street. You could barely get close enough without landing on one as you descended towards the street. But luckily, Quill was a good pilot, and was able to find a place right in the city that seemed to have no people in it. He landed the Milano right in the middle of a street and shut off his precious ship.
After unbuckling, he stood up and faced his friends. "Welcome to Terra, guys." He smiled and walked to the back of the ship before climbing down the latter. When he got to the back of the first level, he pressed a button and the back hatch opened. Before stepping out onto the street, he looked both ways, just to make sure they were alone. Sure enough, they were.
Stepping on Earth for the first time in so many years felt oddly satisfying. It wasn't as if he missed it, because the rest of the galaxy was so much cooler, but he did somehow forget what the 9.8 gravitational force of Earth felt like. Now he remembered, and it felt good.
Gamora was the first to follow Quill out of the Milano. Her mouth hung open when she stepped outside and saw the city around them. A bit like Xandar, but much dirtier. "Where are we, Quill?" She asked, her eyes remaining on the buildings all around her.
"Welcome to New York City!" He said, spreading his arms as if showcasing something behind him. He watched as they all walked out, smirking at their gaping mouths.
"I'll admit, this is actually pretty cool," Rocket said.
Groot, whose pot was being carried by Rocket, nodded in agreement.
"This place is big," Drax said simply, looking around in awe.
Quill nodded. "Hell yeah it is." For now. A devious smirk appeared on his face and he pressed a button the side of his ship to close the hatch. He pulled the keys for it out of his jacket pocket and turned on the retro-reflector panels, making the ship invisible to the eye. "But before we can explore, you guys need disguises." He looked at them all from head to toe, trying to decide what would be best to put them in.
"Disguises?" Rocket asked. "Why, am I not beautiful enough for your planet?"
Quill rolled his eyes and shook his head. "No, its just that..." He looked at each of them and made a face like he was breaking some embarrassing news to someone. "Everyone kind of looks the same around here... And I mean the same as in me. Not as in you."
Rocket shook his head and frowned as if disappointed. "We're just never good enough for you, huh?"
Quill decided to ignore his comment because he spotted a clothing store fairly close to them that seemed empty. "Follow me! We're going shopping!"
