Ferit's POV
"Good morning, Mr. Osman."
"Morning, what's my schedule for today, Mrs. Belandres."
"For this morning, sir. You have only one meeting. Mr. Gonzales the representative of Serrano's Corporation wants to talk with you from 10:00-11:00 in Montefalcon restaurant. And in the afternoon, Mr. Lim wants to meet with you here in your office from 1:00-2:30, and the daughter of the owner of Echico enterprise set an appointment with you, sir. She wishes to talk to you in Sander restaurant at 3:00-4:00."
"Is that all?" I ask.
"Yes, sir."
"Cancel my meeting with Trina."I coldly said.
"But sir the secretary of their company told me earlier that it's urgent."
"Cancel it. You may now go."
"Noted, sir!" She said and go out.
I stand up and sighed I watch the view outside my company and get my cigarette.
I don't trust that woman.
I remembered the scene that happened before here in my office.
Serra caught us. She is mad at what she saw.
"What brings you here, Ms. Monteclaro?" I ask.
"You're a fucker as what I've thought. You don't deserve to know my reason why I go here, asshole. You don't deserve my sister." Madiin niyang sabi sabay tingin sa akin Ng masama.
"I don't ask you to come here, Serra Adelaine." I said. "If you don't have important matters to discuss with me you're free to go. The fucking door is widely open for you."
"Karma will make you pay for what you did Ferit. Not now but soon." She said and get out.
I put my left hand in the pocket of my trouser.
It's already 6 yrs. since it happened.
I think deeply.
Why did Serra go here that time?
What does she want?
I finish smoking before going to my desk and try to read the documents in front of me but hell I can't concentrate.
I'm still bothered by what happened yesterday and Serra's appearance.
I massage my temple and then after a while I decide to tell Mrs. Belandres not to disturb me and don't receive any visitors through the intercom.
I enter my mini bedroom here in the office to get some rest before having a meeting with Mr
Gonzales.
Serra's POV
Hindi ako mapalagay ngayon dahil sa nangyari kanina.
I meet Ferit's mom and worst she saw Izan. She saw my son.
Her reactions and the way she looks at my son are bothering me.
Did she recognize the similarities between Osman and Izan?
"Mommy, are you ok?"
I stop from what I'm thinking and look at my little prince.
I go near him and sit.
"You look, tense mom. Is there something that bothers you?" He asks.
"Mommy, is fine baby. Huwag mo akong intindihin."
"Are you sure?"
"Hundred percent sure, baby," I said and smile at him.
"Don't be sad mommy. I don't want you to be sad.
I nod at him and smiled. Then I kissed his little hand.
Napatigil kami sa pag-uusap Ng bumukas Ang pinto at pumasok si manang Lita.
"Good morning hija." Bati Niya sa Akin at inilagay sa table Ang kanyang mga dala. "Pasensya na Kung ngayon Lang ako nakapunta dito."
"Ok Lang manang." Sagot ko.
"Good morning po manang." Bati sa kanya ni Izan.
"Magandang umaga din sa iyo, hijo." Bati pabalik ni manang sa kanya. "Kamusta na Ang pakiramdam mo?" Dagdag na tanong ni manang.
"Yung head ko po. I'm not comfortable when the bandages." Sumbong Niya Kay manang.
"Temporary pang iyan anak. Basta sundin mo Lang Ang sinasabi ng doctor at nurse mo. Madali Kang gumaling niyan."
"Kanina po dinala nila ako sa isang room. Di Po ako nag cry."
"Anong ginawa ninyo Doon?"
"Inilagay Po nila ako sa isang puting higaan na gumagalaw po. Mayroong bilog at may mga lights din."
"Isinagawa Kasi kanina ang CT scan sa kanya manang." Bigla Kong Sabi.
"Ano ang result?"
"Hindi pa lumabas. Baka mamaya daw Sabi ni Doc. Alcaraz." Sagot mo.
Nag-alala na tumingin si manang Kay Izan.
"Sabi pala ni sir Oliver pupunta daw siya dito mamaya."pahayag ni manang.
"Nag text siya kanina manang."
Ciro's POV
"I need to go, hijo." Aunt Feraya said.
"Don't you want to have coffee or tea before you go tita?" I ask her.
Nandito na Kasi kami sa loob ng office.
Dito namin pinag-uusapan Ang gagawin namin para sa DNA Nina Ferit at Izan.
"I already have my coffee before I went here and I don't have an appetite for the tea." She answered.
"Ok, but remember what I said aunt Feraya. Don't let others know about what we talk earlier. It's only between you and me." I reminded her.
"Don't worry, Ciro. I won't do anything until we prove our speculation." She said.
Tumango ako sa kanya.
Nagpaalam si aunt Feraya bago lumabas Ng office.
I sit on my swivel chair.
Mabuti na Lang kanina nakunan ko na mg sample si Izan sa loob Ng silid para sa CT scan.
Ang Kay Ferit na Lang ang kulang.
Napatigil ako Ng may kumatok at pumasok si nurse Gelo.
"Doc. here's the Computed Tomography result of the patient in room 105." Pahayag nito sabay abot Ng isang envelope.
I get it and open it at Nagpaalam naman na umalis ang nurse.
I check every detail if there's something wrong. There's nothing to worry about. The result is all normal.
I felt relieved
Ibinalik ko sa envelope ang result at tumayo para pumunta sa room nina Serra.
Bago ako tuluyang makaalis sa opisina biglang tumunog ang aking cellphone and its Gael.
"How's Serra's kid?" Bungad na Tanong Niya sa akin.
"There's nothing to worry about. The result of the CT Scan is fine." I answered.
"That's good news." He said.
"Yeah."
"I'll hang up. That's only what I want to know." He stated then end the call.
I put my cell phone in my pocket and then go out to my office.
Nang makarating ako sa ikalawang palapag dumiritso ako agad sa room ni Izan.
"Good morning." Bati ko sa kanila pagkapasok ko sa loob.
"Good morning doc." Bati sa akin Ng katulong Nina Serra.
"Hi, little buddy. How are you?" Ngiting tanong ko sa kanya.
"Still not comfortable with the bandages Po." Sabi Niya.
"Behave ka lang dahil hindi magtatagal naluluha din iyan Basta inumin mo Ang lahat na gamot mo ok?" Pahayag ko sa kanya.
"Opo." Sabi Niya.
"Mrs. Saldivar," tawag ko Kay Serra na ikinatigil Niya. "I have good news for you. Normal Ang result ni Izan. Walang kahit anong fracture or broken bones sa findings Niya."
She felt relieved by what I said.
"Thank God." Pahayag Niya. "Maraming salamat doc."
Ngumiti ako sa kanya at binalingan ulit Ng tingin si Izan.
"I'm expecting the fast recovery of your child," I said. "Have a good day Mrs. Saldivar may pasyente panksai ako." Pahayag ko. "Hey little buddy, aalis na ako. Magpagaling ka." I said to him and then go out into their room.
Malapit na ako sa elevator ng makasalubong ko si Oliver. Hindi kami nagpansinan.
I sighed and shake my head.
"Sana Kung anuman Ang iyong binabalak Saldivar Hindi iyon makakasama sa iyo at kina Serra." Bulong ko sa aking isipan bago pumasok Ng elevator.
